Kagura stood, waiting impatiently on Sesshomaru to come out and speak. Hearing a noise, she turned and saw him, but he had his arm back and had a second sword at his side.

"What are you doing here, wind bitch?" he asked coldly.

Kagura almost lost her nerve, but she, pressed forward and said, "Naraku is heading for the Netherworld. The last jewel shard is there."

"And why should that concern this Sesshomaru?"

"Because, the jewel is near your father's grave. He may try to revive your father with the jewel and..." Kagura stopped seeing Sesshomaru's red gaze.

"This Sesshomaru cannot allow that to happen," he said after calming down.

'Good, I knew that would convince him,' she thought. "I know of a way to get there. There is a gate where you can enter the Netherworld."

"Wait right here, I shall return shortly."

'What now?' she thought.

"Good, you are ready. Sesshomaru said seeing Rin was dressed in better entire fitting her new status as his mate.

""What did Kagura want?" she asked falling into step with him as he headed down a hall that Rin hadn't explored yet.

"Naraku is trying to get back to the Netherworld. The last jewel shard is there, but it's near my father's grave. I will not allow that spider to desecrate that land." he said and ripped open a metal door to reveal to Rin several styles of armor. She saw the one that her mate always wore, but he passed it up. He grabbed a heavier dark grey piece with protections for both arms. The back seemed to be far bulkier than what was necessary. He put it on and nodded.

"Rin, there is enough room for you to crawl in. The shell will protect you while I'm in combat. The only you could possible be harmed is if the one I'm fighting gets behind me and I will not allow that," he explained and Rin nodded.

"It's not as stuffy as I thought it would be," she commented. Sesshomaru grinned. He didn't know where this father got this particular piece, but it may have been constructed with kitsume magic in mind. Rin's voice didn't go past his ear.

'Great, he wanted to boost his defense,' Kagura complained.

"Lead the way," Sesshomaru commanded. with a nod, Kagura took off and Sesshomaru followed suit.

"Do you wish to pass?" the gate guard questioned. Sesshomaru looked at the guard, trying to weigh the words he had just said. Tenseiga pulsed and the dog demon drew the sword.

"You have the sword of heaven, you may pass." the guard said yielding to the Tenseiga.

Kagura couldn't believe it. 'Just because he has that sword the guards at the gate let him pass!?' she thought. Sesshomaru stepped through and into the Netherworld.

Naraku smirked. He was behind his berrior and Hosenki had the jewel shard. Once the clam demon got rid of Inuyasha, Naraku would absorb the clam, kill the humans, and return to Earth and finish off.

"Sesshomaru," Naraku hissed seeing that the dog demon had changed his armor and now had his other arm back. Both the Tenseiga and the Bakusaiga were pressed hard against the berrior.

"Hosenki, this Sesshomaru cannot believe that you would allow yourself to be possessed by that tainted shard," he said while continuing to try to break the berrior by pouring his demonic aura into both swords.

"Do you think that he's going to keep it?" Naraku questioned and yanked the shard from the clam's body and brought it to him via one of his tentacles. He then started blasting poison in order to poison all that were standing before him.

"Do you actually believe that your weak poison can hurt this Sesshomaru?" Sesshomaru asked. He had to divert some of his aura to his mate's body. she needed the protection that only their link could provide.

"What's wrong? Giving up?" Naraku taunted as he could feel the pressure on his berrior lessening. "It would be a typical move for a full blooded demon. You'd be smart not to continue to fight me, unlike your foolish brother who doesn't know when to quit."

"Silence!" Sesshomaru snarled and twin dragon strikes crashed against Naraku's berrior.

Naraku laughed, "Is that the best you can..." he was stopped when Inuyasha's wind scar, laced with adamant, crashed through his berrior. Naraku snarled, but then an arrow from Kagome smashed into him causing him even more damage and pain.

'Damn miko, time to return to Earth,' Naraku thought and vanished.

"Where'd that other sword come from?"

Sesshomaru turned to face his brother, the one that had asked him.

He answered, "From within me."

"Feh, so now what?"

"It seems that this Sesshomaru has no choice if I wish that spider dead. For now, I must accompany your pack."

"What?! No way!" Inuyasha exploded.

"Sesshomaru, you do know that we village hop and that you'll have to..." Miroku began.

"Just because this Sesshomaru tolerates you humans does not mean that I am uncomfortable around you." he related.

"And that human girl that's tagged along with you?" Inuyasha asked his temper boiling. Sesshomaru smirked and a figure came out from behind the full blooded demon.

"Rin?" Sango and Kagome questioned.

"You claimed her as your mate." Miroku noted. "Your demonic aura aged her nicely."

"Careful monk, if you even..." Sesshomaru started to threaten.

"I don't go where I'm not wanted." the monk assured but Sango rolled her eyes at that.

"Then why do you keep rubbing my ass!" Sango growled.

"Because, you don't have a bite mark. I enjoy your reaction to my touch." he finished with a grin and Sango smacked him upside his head.

"Fine, but you better provide for her food when we aren't staying in a village. Although, I bet you don't know how to hunt." Inuyasha growled.

"Do you not think that father didn't teach me when I was a pup how to hunt?" Sesshomaru questioned and Inuyasha snarled yet again. This was going to be a longer journey than any of them thought it was going to be.
