Baby Cold Outside

Inuyasha carried his wife back to their little home after he started the fire to insure that Kagome was nice and warm.
“Are you sure you are doing ok? I mean Kaede would have let us stay with her until you were certain that your pains have passed.”
Kagome sighed.
“I really don’t think the baby is going to come today Inuyasha. I think we belong at home and besides, Rin and Kohaku need a place for tonight and you know your brother would not allow them in the same house together without a guardian for Rin. It isn’t like how things are back at my home where my Mother trusted you enough to allow us to remain in the same room together.”
Inuyasha grinned about that.
“Yes, it was great wasn’t it? We could make out for hours and you let me do the over the clothes thing until we both fell asleep.’
“I have to admit that your bed was very comfortable although a bit too small for the two of us to share.”
Kagome smiled.
“I can tell you are in one of your amorous moods tonight Inuyasha.”
Inuyasha grinned as he nuzzled his wife.
“You know I would feast on that milk of yours for hours, but my love you need your rest and although I am willing you know that the pup is due any time. You need your rest since after watching Sango and Miroku’s family we won’t be getting much of that when the pup is born.”
Kagome whimpered a bit.
“But Inuyasha I want to.”
Inuyasha loved how much his wife wanted him, but fact was if he fucked her again tonight his dick might fall off from sheer overuse.
“I will make you a deal Kagome. I will pleasure you for as long as you want.”
Kagome nodded.
Inuyasha gently laid his wife upon their small futon. Then he divulged her of her hakumas and proceeded to feast knowing Kagome went ‘commando’ as she called it just in case she started going into labor.
As Inuyasha used his fingers to play with Kagome suddenly Kagome sat straight up and water burst out of her opening like a waterfall.
Inuyasha at that point sat up and looked at Kagome who was panicking.
“Inuyasha get Kaede, it is time.”
Inuyasha ran to Kaede’s house carrying his half naked wife and waking up everyone in the house.
“I think it is time.”
Inuyasha blurted out as Kaede made Inuyasha set Kagome down.
“She just…….a bunch of water came out………”
That was as far as Inuyasha got before Kaede put a hand up to silence him.
“Kohaku go wake your sister.”
Kohaku did so while at the same time trying to avert his eyes only to almost run into the wall of the house before exiting.
As the contractions started to get rather quick and steady Kagome moaned in pain.
Inuyasha didn’t know what to do other than hold Kagome’s hand which gripped his like a vice.
“Rin, ye know what to do so get going.”
Kaede ordered as Rin rushed out to gather a bucket of water from the river. It would be cold, but they would be able to heat it as Sango caught up with Rin to help her gather all the necessary things for the birth of this child.
“Kagome, I need ye to refrain from pushing until I am certain the babe is facing the proper direction.”
Kagome felt some discomfort as Kaede reached inside of her pleased to feel the head and not the foot of the child.
Sango and Rin burst into the room with clean linens and began to heat the water to a nice lukewarm temperature.
“Ok Inuyasha you will help by holding her in a semi sitting position and keep it until I say otherwise.”
Inuyasha nodded as he held his wife up kissing her head wishing he could take the pain from her. For the first time in a long time Inuyasha was scared to death and the smells of blood among other strong scents coming from his wife forced him to keep his demon in check.
“Ok Kagome ye can push now.”
Sango and Rin tried to help Kagome by practicing the breathing technique that Kagome taught Sango for her last pregnancy. Kagome was doing quite well and soon the head of the pup was out.
“Ok Kagome now is the hard part. We have to get the babes shoulders out so as soon as I say so push hard.”
Rin rubbed Kagome’s leg to try to help relax Kagome for the big push.
“Ok I have them now Kagome, now push hard.”
Kaede stated and with a cry Kagome pushed as hard as she could.
“That’s it, keep pushing………..”
Then with a wail the pup was out. Kaede cleaned out the nose and mouth of the pup along with the little white puppy ears on top of his little head.
“It is a boy and he takes after his Father.”
Rin declared happily.
Sango smiled at the little puppy ears and Inuyasha broke into a wide grin looking at his little boy.
Soon the afterbirth fell out and soon the umbilical cord was clipped and tied off only to fall off since the pup’s belly button was completely healed.
Inuyasha was thrilled to finally be a Father and looked longingly at his son wanting to touch him to prove that this was all really happening.
“So can I hold him?”
Kagome smiled.
“Yes of course you can.”
Inuyasha pulled his fussing pup into his arms and suddenly his son gurgled at him as if he were trying to say something.
“He is so tiny.”
Inuyasha stated in awe as he held his little boy to his chest allowing his pup to curl his little clawed fingers around his left index finger.
“I will need to make him some of those little mitts for his fingers so he doesn’t claw himself. We can use that soft rabbit fur from last night’s meal.”
Kagome stated.
“So what do you wish to name him?”
Kagome asked as Inuyasha thought about it for a while.
“I think we should name him Fuyuki. It means snowy winter since he was born in the winter time.”
Inuyasha stated as he smiled down at his newborn son.
“I like that name. I think that will be a good name for him Inuyasha. Little Fuyuki.”
The pup began fussing again and Inuyasha looked at Kagome in frustration.
“Here Inuyasha I will take him and see if he is hungry.”
As soon as Kagome adjusted Fuyuki to her breast the pup started drinking with fever.
“I guess he really was hungry.”
Kagome stated with a smile.
Inuyasha smiled and leaned back against the wall trying to relax. It had been a stressful day with the fight with his brother and now being a new Father. He hoped tomorrow that things would slow down a bit, but knew that they would soon have to leave the village to go to his brother’s home.
Inuyasha thought perhaps he could convince Sesshoumaru to wait until after the holiday, but most likely Sesshoumaru would demand that he and his family leave immediately. Thing was it really wasn’t a wise idea to take a newborn pup out into the cold for very long and Sesshoumaru’s castle had to be at least a day or so walk from this village.
“So when do you think Sesshoumaru will come for us?”
Kagome asked as Inuyasha laid his head back against the wall feeling completely worn out.
“He said after the pup is born we are to go to his home immediately or he would destroy the village. I don’t think he will destroy the village, but I can’t be certain of that either. I just hope that maybe he will change his mind on bringing us to his castle. At least until the weather clears up.”
Kagome sighed.
“I don’t like leaving here. I don’t want our group split up like that. It is like we are moving away from the family that we created while searching for the jewel fragments.’
“Sango, Miroku, Kaede, Rin, Kohaku, Shippo, and Kirara are our family. Sango and Miroku’s children are like nieces and nephew to us. Totosai and Mioga are a part of our group too as long distant friends. Even Jaken is like part of our group even if he is annoying.’
“Sesshoumaru is a part of the family, but he chooses to remain distant. Living with him will be like treading on thin ice because he is completely unpredictable. I am afraid of what he might do to you and our pup if you displease him.”
Inuyasha frowned.
“Sesshoumaru won’t harm our pup. If he does I will find a way to kill him even if it costs me my life. No matter what happens around us or to us I will protect you both and this village.’
“We have to wait for Sesshoumaru to come get us anyway since I have no idea where the castle is anymore. I haven’t been there in years.”
Inuyasha yawned and tried to relax as he closed his eyes.
“Let’s talk about it in the morning my love. You and the pup will need rest and heaven knows I do too. It has been a long day.”
Kagome careful not to awaken the now well fed sleeping pup (after burping him a few times) laid down on the futon and cuddled her precious little boy into the blankets next to her so that they could get some much needed rest.
