Chapter 6
Kickyou was cooking dinner for Meryasha when he came into the room.
“Stop cooking for me, stop doing everything for me. Let’s just talk ok?”
Kickyou stopped.
“What do you want to talk about master?”
Meryasha frowned.
“Don’t call me master. Tell me what I have to do to make you love me.”
Kickyou looked him dead in the eyes.
“I could never love you. There is nothing you can do.”
Meryasha frowned.
“Why not?”
Kickyou stated plainly as she could why not.
“You cannot control the one you love. You do not know me, I do not know you. What you ask is impossible. I will never love you. In fact I wish I could kill you for all you have done.”
Meryasha was shocked. He didn’t know she hated him this badly.
“You say you love me. You do not know what love is. If you loved me so much you would set me free of my bondage and be on your way.”
Meryasha knew the consequences if he did leave. He couldn’t live like that nor could he live like this.
“Then kill me.”
Meryasha handed Kickyou the sword. She refused it.
“I cannot do that even if I want to. It is wrong to take life.”
Meryasha explained then everything to Kickyou and why he did as he did to her. Then he explained all that was in his heart.
What Meryasha did not know was that Kickyou was also a powerful sorceress.
“I shall punish you then and save you Meryasha.”
Grasping her bow and arrow she made Meryasha go to the ocean kneeling in the water on his last day of being a goldfish he felt his fins return. Kickyou watched as the man stripped and was in the water. He was indeed beautiful, but he had used her. Maybe in another lifetime she would have loved him. Instead she felt all the anger at being used and let the arrow fly right into his heart. At that moment the beads that kept him in control were destroyed and Meryasha was free.
“Goodbye Meryasha.”
Kickyou stated as she left leaving Meryasha floating in the waves along with his sword.
