"Sleep, my Kagome"

Sesshoumaru closed his eyes and rested against the carriage's wall waiting

his companions return.

Present…

"Jyunchi, why do

we have to help Sesshoumaru? I mean the guy's a prick!" Kouga complained

non stop while following the scent of the human girl called Sango.

"

You know, you really should back off Kouga. Sesshoumaru already laid his

claim on Kagome.

And besides, we live and feed off the West, it's

the least we can do to offer our loyalty to him and his father" Miroku has

been working with the great Inu Taishou for several centuries now. It's

true he should've died long ago, in fact he should've died when he was

severely wounded in the battlefield of Spirituals vs. Demons. However the

General spared his life and offered him to serve under the West as a

healer. Well the rest, he should save to tell his children.

They

followed the feminine scent to a gentle stream not far from the campsite.

Jyunchi stopped and sniffed the air.

"Hey you guys smell that?"

Kouga and Miroku glanced dumbfounded at each other.

"No I'm human

Jyun, I can't smell what youkai can. But…" Miroku trailed off. He felt a

presence. No, there was two. One stronger than the other. It was dead

silent, the air was heavy, laced with tension and not a sound was

heard.

"KEHAII!!" A loud screech penetrated the air. The three sped

towards the north side of the stream, near the base of the mountain. In

several minutes the men arrived in the clearing.

"What in the name

of Kami?" Miroku stared at the younger girl in front of them gripping a

horn that punctured through the lower snake demon's chest. Her heavy

breathing gave off sounded quietly in the once more silent forest.

"

What do you demons want? Leave now if you don't want to suffer the same

fate as he" she looked over Jyunchi, Kouga and Miroku. ‘They seem to be

higher classed de- no, they're Youkai. Oh Kami, Kagome where are you?'

Miroku smirked at the blood covered girl. "So, fair lady why are

you alone at this hour. Are you a demon slayer perhaps?"

"No I'm

not Youkai. I'm searching for my friend, Kagome. I need to find her. I

really need to find her…" Sango trailed off losing herself in her

thoughts. She snapped out of her thoughts when Miroku approached her.

"Stay back Youkai!"

"No, my dear. I can't stay away from you at

all" Miroku continued to advance on Sango, he closed in the distance and

with lightning speed grasp her wrists and held her tight in his

chest.

"You-you Pervert! Let go of me!" Sango struggled to break

from from his touch. "No, I can't do that my dear." Miroku bent down

slowly and was on the verge of kissing her when a soft voice interrupted

him.

"Get off me! You pe-hm!" Sango's sentence got cut when Miroku

covered her mouth with his hand. "Shh, something is lurking in the

shadows." Sango quickly silenced and the winds picked up and quickly died

down.

"What was that?"

"Neko-youkai. I picked up their

scent, it's so weird, the moment it came the scent disappeared" Jyunchi

scratched the back of his head. Jyunchi turn towards Sango, "Our Prince

has your friend. She is safe in the carriage with him, she requested us to

find you, and her family." Kouga growled at the thought of Kagome in

Sesshoumaru's arms. ‘I will get her.'

Sango looked down, "I have

a lot of explaining to do." Sango searched Jyunchi's eyes for deceit,

satisfied she agreed "Take me to her, please." The men nodded and headed

towards the carriage. ‘Kagome, I hope you do forgive me for this…'

Kagome whimpered as the searing pain

from the gashes she received from the whip coursed through her body.

"Hmm.." She opened her eyes to see molten gold eyes staring right at

her.

"How are you feeling?" His voice was distant, almost if he

didn't belong to this world.

"Pain" that was the only word she

could muster before she cringed from another wave of pain. Kagome gasped as

Sesshoumaru parted his kimono to check the wounds. "It hasn't been long,

the wounds are already infect" Sesshoumaru concluded "the whip was

poisoned." Kagome's eyes widen and she fear she would die in several

hours. ‘I can't die yet, I don't know if Papa and Souta is safe or not.

Oh Kami give me strength.'

Sesshoumaru growled as he detected a hint

of salt in the air. "Kagome you will not cry" he furrowed his eyebrows

and gathered her in his arms and left the carriage.

"Sesshoumaru-

sama?" Sesshoumaru kept quiet as he kept a steady pace to the hotsprings

he saw a while back when they were travelling in the carriage. He heard

Kagome whimper again ‘She will not make it in time' Sesshoumaru growled

and ran to his destination with his demonic speed. After a few minutes they

arrived at the hotsprings and Kagome continue to slip into the

darkness.

He lowered her on the warm boulders in the hotspring and

removed his hamaka and stepped into the hotsprings. He glided over to

Kagome and removed his kimono from her body and lowered them both into the

warm water. Kagome hissed at the contact of the water against her aching

chest.

"Kagome" Sesshoumaru needed to clean her wound, the outer

layer of her skin around the wounds were turning into a dark purple tint.

"Kagome" he said in a harsher tone and shook her.

"Sessh-hm"

Sesshoumaru kissed her softly on her lips. "Kagome, This Sesshoumaru need

to clean your wounds." Kagome nodded and felt Sesshoumaru lift her and

placed her between something hard and warm. "Kagome, it will hurt for a

short while, stay with me" Kagome nodded and relaxed as the warm boulder

soothed her aching muscles. Sesshoumaru lifted her up slightly and he

hovered over her torso.

Sesshoumaru growled as he picked up the

thieves scent mixed with hers. ‘Mine' his tongue darted out and

roughly licked her wound out of fustration. "Eahh!" Kagome felt the pain

pulse through her entire body. "Still," he commanded. She whimpered as he

continue to lick her wounds. Kagome was quiet after several licks as the

pain merged into her body as one and dulled the shocks.

Sesshoumaru

looked down once more on the wounds, they appear to be light scratches and

grunted in satisfaction.

"Kagome" Sesshoumaru eased Kagome down

onto his lap as he sat on the shallow end of the hotsprings. "Sesshoumaru

-sama, thank you. Thank you so much" Kagome wrapped her arms around his

neck and sobbed quietly.

"If you didn't come, I… I could've been.

Oh!" she wept quietly in his arms. Sesshoumaru closed his eyes and

burrowed his nose into her hair and inhaled deeply. ‘I wouldn't know what

I would've done too, if he were to take you.' Sesshoumaru tightened his

embrace and let Kagome cry in his arms. "Kagome…"

"Thank you, for

everything" Kagome gave him a watery smile. Sesshoumaru nodded and they

both sat quietly in the hotsprings, both wondering why they are so

attracted to each other, even if they just met last night.

"Sesshoumaru-sama?" Kagome blushed when she noticed they were both in the

nude under the waters of the hotspring. "Hn?" Sesshoumaru cracked open an

eye and squinted at her.

"We are… uh… indecent? I shouldn't be…

er… on you" Kagome fidgeted with her fingers and looked down to the

water. Sesshoumaru chuckled, "Kagome you should not be bashful now."

Sesshoumaru shifted gently and Kagome was now straddling on his lap

facing him, "After all, we've done and seen much more last night" he

teased and closed their distance and kissed her tenderly. Kagome sighed

into his mouth as she felt as if she was in heaven. ‘One little kiss, that

's all it takes to satisfy her. Divine indeed,' Sesshoumaru smirked into

their kiss.

Kagome let out a shy moan as he kneaded her breast

softly. She shifted seductively, although unconsciously on his lap as she

felt his member enlarge. "Kagome, unless you wish to be taken now you will

cease this action," he groaned out. ‘She is still weak from earlier

tonight,' Sesshoumaru stared into her Sapphire depths ‘but this

Sesshoumaru can not get enough.'

He captured her lips in a searing

kiss and caressed her thighs and inner thighs. He felt the inevitable cramp

in his pelvis as his need for Kagome's touch increased. "Pleasure me,"

he whispered seductively into her ear and grabbed her had and guided it to

his throbbing appendage. Kagome gasped in shock at the contact but followed

his orders and began stroking him painfully slow. Sesshoumaru growled in

pleasure from her administrations "I shall to you as well," he smirked as

he heard her gasp of pleasure as he slipped his index and middle finger

"Seshoumaru… please…" Sesshoumaru lifted Kagome

Sesshoumaru entered her. He griped her hips tighter as she slide down his

"Move…" he clenched his teeth together trying to control the

overwhelming urge to pound her into oblivion. "Move?" Sesshoumaru

smirked, "Yes Kagome, move. Like this" he gripped her hips once more and

guided her up his shaft and pushed her down against it again. "Move, on

your own accord." Kagome nodded and placed her hands around his broad

shoulders and continued what Sesshoumaru began.

"… more… Kagome"

Sesshoumaru groaned as her walls tightened almost painfully around his

shaft. He was so close to his release but he held back. "Ses-ah!"

Sesshoumaru arched his hips up and slammed into Kagome's core. He gripped

her hips once more and arched up again and again to meet Kagome's pace.

Kagome squinted her eyes close and mouthed a scream as the rope at the pit

of her stomach uncoil as she met her release. "Ka-go-me!" Sesshoumaru

gritted between his clenched jaws as he gave a final thrust and poured his

seeds into her. Kagome leaned into his embrace as Sesshoumaru wrapped his

arms around her, "What have you done to this Sesshoumaru." Kagome giggled

and shrugged slightly.

"I have not done anything to you Sesshoumaru

-sama" Sesshoumaru raised an elegant brow and touched his nose with

hers.

"Is that so?" Kagome stared deer-eyed at Sesshoumaru and

nodded. Sesshoumaru let a smile grace his lips and kissed her nose

lovingly. ‘You make us feel… complete, my angel.'

"Yo! Sesshoumaru's not here" Jyunchi looked over

to the carriage and sniffed the air. "They've been gone for several hours

already I think they left for the…" Jyunchi trailed off as Sesshoumaru

sped into the clearing with Kagome in his arms. "… palace."

"Kagome!" Sango rushed to her as Sesshoumaru let her go on her feet.

"Sango-chan! Are you okay?" Kagome searched her body for any

injuries.

"No, none. Kagome I have something to tell you. It's

really important, please listen to me" Sango pleaded. She was just about

to start when Sesshoumaru demanded them to go in the carriage, mentioning

Kagome needed some rest. Kagome rested against the carriage wall and

glanced uncomfortably across the carriage to Sango.

"Kagome, your

father and brother… They. Oh Kami, Kagome I'm so sorry" Sango put her

head in her laps and wept uncontrollably. "I couldn't save them Kagome.

I-I failed you, please Kagome don't hate me, please."

Kagome's

heart dropped as she listened to Sango's words, "Save? Sango-chan,

what do you mean?"

"Kagome, when you left to gather wood, Your

father and I was talking, something about a legend and a betrayal, and then

these giant cats came in and ate them! The-they just swallowed them

whole! Kami, I'm so sorry Kagome. Then these thieves came in and started

to destroy the camp. The cats took off and I followed them up near the base

of the mountain. And… they summoned this giant snake that had horn as a

tail. I managed to tear off the tail and pierce it through its heart,"

Sango sighed. It was unforgivable, "that's when, these youkai came in and

told me that you are safe with the Prince… Kagome, I'm really sorry. I

never wanted to hurt you. P-please forgive me," Sango started to cry

again.

"Oh Sango-chan," Kagome went down on her knees in one swift

move and grabbed Sango's hands. "You are not at fault, please don't

blame yourself Sango-chan," the men in the carriage looked on silently but

curiously at the display before them.

"My fair maidens, it's nearly

impossible for a youkai no matter what blood they have to swallow a grown

man in one piece," Miroku rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "To my knowledge,

those cat demons most likely placed them in their mouths to transport them

without trouble."

"You see Sango-chan, it will be fine. Please don

't cry" Kagome tried to conceal her own desperation and sadness as her

own tears fell down her cheeks. Kagome reached over to Sango and gathered

her into her arms for a loving embrace. "Sango-chan, I forgive you, please

do not…" Kagome choked and they both cried silently in each other's

arms.

‘She's so beautiful, and forgiving. Hell if I slept with her

I'd be happy as hell… She is a courtesan after all, maybe Fluffy won't

mind,' Jyunchi smiled and stared longingly at Kagome. Sesshoumaru caught

the look on his old friends face and growled, he had an uneasy feeling

about this.

‘Mine'

The carriage wheels droned softly below their feet as they sat patiently

waiting to arrive to the Western Palace. Kagome fell asleep by Sesshoumaru

's side with his arm draped over her shoulders. Sesshoumaru looked lazily

outside the carriage window. ‘What will Father think of Kagome? What of

the engagement?' Sesshoumaru looked at the girl in his arms. ‘We would

never give her up, never.'

The carriage came to a halt as they

waited for the front gates to open.

"Our Highness Sesshoumaru-sama

has returned, open the gates immediately" Kouga shouted to the gate

keepers. He nodded in acknowledgement as he flicked the reigns of the

horses to advance. "Sesshoumaru, we are home."

Sesshoumaru nodded

and glanced back at Kagome. "Miroku, Jyunchi leave first," he commanded

and without another word Jyunchi left the carriage followed by Miroku

leading Sango. Sesshoumaru tightened his grip on Kagome. He over and

whispered "Kagome, we have arrived." Kagome opened her eyes lazily and

smiled softly at Sesshoumaru.

"Oh!" Kagome gasped in shock as

Sesshoumaru tugged her roughly in a hug. Sesshoumaru buried his nose in her

hair and inhaled her scent deeply, memorizing her scent as if she will

disappear one day. Kagome giggled "Sesshoumaru-sama, we must not keep your

companions waiting."

Sesshoumaru stepped out of the carriage and

offered a hand to Kagome to help her down the steps. They walked in

comfortable silence to the main entrance of the palace.

‘It's

really quiet, too quiet almost' he thought. He felt his father's presence

grow and detected three other unusual yet familiar scents.

"Sesshoumaru, my son. Where have you been?" Kagome stared in astonishment

as the man, no youkai before her greeted his son. ‘He looks regal, if not

of holy descent' Kagome gasped.

"Oh? Who might this be? She looks

beautiful Sesshou…" Inu Taishou narrowed his eyes at Kagome and growled.

"Son, you shouldn't have bed another female so close to the treaty."

Kagome shrunk behind Sesshoumaru out of fear when a screech

penetrated the air.

"Sesshie-kun! I have missed you so" a beautiful

demonness with crimson hair and extremely feminine body ran out from behind

Inu Taishou and jumped into Sesshoumaru's arms. Kagome's eyes widen in

jealous and she saw another touching Sesshoumaru.

"Get off me, neko

" Sesshoumaru stood still and spoke coldy towards her.

"No! Why

should I Sesshie? I'm you're betrothed!" she glanced behind Sesshoumaru

and an evil smirk donned her seemingly beautiful face. "I see you've

brought home a whore. You be-"

She was cut short in shock when

Sesshoumaru backhand her across her face.

"You will not speak to

this Sesshoumaru in such a manner, you will surely not speak of her in such

a demeaning manner." Sesshoumaru grounded out with a harsh growl.

Sesshoumaru turned around to face Kagome in time to catch her before

falling unconsciously to the ground.

Kagome's mind blacked out from

the shock of the information she just heard. Her mind was spinning madly

out of place as the demoness' words played over and over again in her

head.

‘you're betrothed… a whore… you're a whore…'
