Surprise! Kagome’s a What?

AN: I know last chapter was extremely short so I tried to get this up as soon as possible. Hope you like!

**Kagome’s POV**

She made it to her feet before he was on her once again. This time pinning her to a tree. Which quite frankly was only marginally more comfortable.

~*Get off me!*~ Her beast screamed.

*You know he might just do that if you calm down and let me handle this!* Kagome was starting to panic now. If she didn’t regain control soon there was a pretty good chance that Sesshomaru would get agrivated enough and just kill her.

~I still want to kill him.~ Her beast made her opinion abundantly clear.

*Well that’s not an option at the moment. Besides didn’t you want… just few minutes ago!* Had Kagome been in control over her own body she’d have been beet red at that moment.

~It’s not my fault that the ass hole is freakin’ HOT!~ Her beast was silent for a moment while considering its options. ~Ok, only if you promise to let me back out occasionally. So many youkai don’t give us enough free reign.~

*Fine, so long as you behave! I can’t go around killing people just because you need some fresh air.*

~Did I ever say anything about killing people?! Geez, chill!~

**Sesshomaru’s POV**

Sesshomaru was starting to get worried. *What is she plotting now?* She’d been silent for a while now. The without warning her body went slack, and Sesshomaru went on full alert. (AN: Sorry but I forgot to mention, in this story Sesshomaru has his arm back. I’ll throw in an explanation later.) Catching her in one arm he placed the other around her neck, just as a precaution.

Seconds later she became stiff in his arms and with a quick sniff he realized she was calming down. “Um, Lord Sesshomaru… You can put me down now.” She said tentatively. Obviously nervous, as to how he’d react. He released her slowly, backing way, reassured that she was once again in control of herself. “I’m sorry about that. I’m not quite used to having to fight for control yet.”

“Hn.” Was his only response while he contemplated his options.

~Take her with us.~ His beast offered, wishing to spend more time with her. ~Maybe she’ll decide she likes us.~

*This Sesshomaru does not care whether the wench likes us or not!*

~Oh yes you do. I mean look at her. ~

Sesshomaru paused to do as his beast suggested and took another look at her. She was indeed attractive. With legs that seemed to go on forever, and curves in all the right places. He could not deny that he was attracted to her physically. *But she is still the half-breed’s wench.* He just couldn’t let that go.

~No she has denied him. She doesn’t love him anymore.~

*She is still the same irritating wench we have encountered so may time’s before!* But was she? She showed him respect, unlike their encounters before, even going so far as to greet him respectfully with a bow.

~She has changed.~ Replied his beast. ~even you have seen it.~

*We shall see…* Was his reply as he turned to address Kagome. “Since you seem to be far from your companions you are welcome to spend the night with my pack. Just make sure not to make a nuisance of yourself.” With that he turned away headed for the clearing where he had left Rin in the care of Jaken.

AN: Hey again, probably should have waited and posted this as part of the last chapter, but I wasn’t sure how long it would take to write. Luckly the writing seems to be coming a little smoother. But this leads me to a question. Would you rather I posted shorter chapters and get them to you sooner, or take the time to give you longer chapters? Let me know.
