As The Hourglass Spins

Lycane awoke to find himself back home, where he didn’t want to be. Looking at Raiden who was sitting on the end of his bed he wondered what the fuck happened. His neck hurt like hell and was still burning a bit.

“Raiden, why the hell are we at home? We had plans and what did you put in my drink since that fucking hallucination of that Lucian asshole still feels real.”

It wasn’t Raiden that was on the end of his bed, it was Lucian looking quite lost and it was disturbing.

“What are you doing, haunting me?”

Lucian didn’t move.

“You have been cheated of your birthright boy. I am afraid due to the lack of control of my demon populations I have to assume Alpha position again for a time. I am completely disturbed by the events that have passed since I have been gone.”

Lycane got up from the bed holding his neck. It was bleeding again.

“Why did you bite me anyway? Not that I give a shit since you are hot, but that ain’t the point old man. I choose who to mate not you.”

Lucian moved the hair from his neck showing Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, and Megan’s bite marks.

“We do not always get to chose our mates. I have a law boy and you were not aware of who I was when I came to fulfill my part of it. I always mark the Alpha’s as mine or I kill them. I have killed many Alphas before you were born, ones who were considered unworthy, my own sons died on these clawed hands for smaller infractions than the ones that have occurred here.’
“I changed for the sake of our kind. I cannot go about murdering all my heirs until I find perfection. I have found him and yet I find he is flawed allowing his own female to order him about like a pup in heat. I was thrown by an infant hanyou and he caused me pain for the first time in my life.’
“You are in need of dire training since you must take over since I am now mated to the perfect son of the Inus that I had sought my whole existence. Sesshoumaru is beyond expectations.”

Lucian stated quietly. Lycane growled.

“Don’t I know it pal. The asshole can’t sneeze without it being almost perfect and beautiful. He is and will always be a snobby graceful man that won’t let me have him as my own. You are lucky he didn’t throw you into oblivion even if you are powerful.”

Lighting up a smoke Lycane didn’t give a shit his hair was still a bit rumpled from earlier and he was still wearing the same shit except there was blood staining his shirt not that he gave a damn.

“That would be impossible pup. Sesshoumaru may be the strongest Alpha I have met, but he is far from being a god. His Father I believed was fairly close, but you cannot compare what I am to what all of you are. My Celebrían was the goddess of the moon. She wasn’t human and to explain what we truly are would be like trying to explain the beginning of time. I have been on this world when humans had not existed on the earth. I have lived beyond the scope of time itself since it is irrelevant and useless to count the years I have lived.’
“As far as lycanthropes go I was the first and then Celebrían came and I was born into an Inu through her powers. I started out like you and if truth be known if not for Celebrían I would have onyx hair like your own since I was in full wolf demon form at all times. I followed the moon and she came to me one night. Then we became one and I was changed forever.”

Lycane sighed rolling his eyes. He didn’t want a history lesson.

“Look, I don’t give a rat’s ass how old you are I just want to know what the fuck your problem is and what are you talking about cheating me of my birthright? To my mates, to my brothers, sisters, and eventually my Grandchildren I am Alpha. Not you, not Sesshoumaru, and not some other old fart. They are going to come to one who understands them and won’t put up with their shit who tells them how it is. You may have a title, but you don’t have the respect I do even if they know of your history because they personally don’t know you. All my followers know me personally.”

Lucian smiled a bit since Lycane was right, but didn’t understand. It was ok; some day he would understand when he was older. The boy was just a babe to the infinitely elder demon who found all things enchanting again in the world although he didn’t like the changes.

“You amuse me young one. You are intriguing and beguiling I agree. Your followers worship you and your glorious reign because of your blunt forward approach to life. I see such beauty also in your face, body, and that attracts followers as well. Your Father held the same charisma that you seem to exude from your very being. I am undeniably attracted to you as well, but not so much that I would give up all for you. In fact in the end you will find yourself giving all to me as others more powerful than yourself have done.’
“I am here to train you properly. You will not follow in the footsteps of the past since it is flawed by the folly’s of other Alphas. My need is great here and so therefore Sesshoumaru has agreed to allow me to take over your training. One cannot be ‘in lust’ nor ‘in love’ with one’s student to train them. You however can feel whatever it is your little heart desires.’
“Sesshoumaru will also no longer frequent your bed. His duties require his abrupt and expeditious attention. I may not be able to change history……or women…..but I can change how we rule over our people through you and your superior.'
"Sesshoumaru is your Alpha boy so get used to it and stop this foolish game. He knows what you are doing for he did it himself as did his Father before him. It is nothing new for younglings such as yourself to try to gain power through force or manipulation. You will always lose that war for no Alpha has ever defeated another save one. That one is me.’
“No matter who brags, fact is no Alpha born in the Inu, Black Wolf, or any canine demon nation has killed an Alpha except for me and no one can defeat one once I train them. You want power, than look to me. I have knowledge, power, and as far as your physical training who do you think trained the best Hn?”

Lycane sat on the edge of the bed listening. He was intrigued and bummed. Sesshoumaru did know huh. Bastard always seemed to know.

“I love him so what if I don’t want another trainer because of that? Did anyone consider that when you came here to ruin and run my fucking life?”

Lucian laughed.

“Well, I haven’t been turned down with such enthusiasm. I have been turned down often, but I promise you will not regret this decision. You cannot love Sesshoumaru. You have mates, he has mates, and my perfection has mated me to his small pack. Kouga will remain for you, but Sesshoumaru and his two lovely mates are mine. They will come with me and you will not see them again for perhaps hundreds of years. In order to rule you cannot be distracted.”

Lycane dropped his cigarette. He didn’t know.

“He mated you…….”

Lucian sighed.

“I mate all Alphas to control the ruling and insure that it is good. It is my law, however none have ever returned my bite. Now that they have I have sealed my flesh. No others will be able to do such a thing again. If your dear, frustrating, beautiful Mother would not have made us both lose our tempers I would have avoided this problem. I cannot mate another man’s female without mating them as well. It would be considered unacceptable since I would take Megan with me and then this would destroy your Fathers. I am certain Alistair will remain with you for a time, but he is a fool. He unmated that woman so his option in this is done. He will not follow us although I am damn sure he will try. Where I am going none except my full mates can follow.”

Lycane let tears flow.

“So he wanted you…..and it is Mom’s fault. Sometimes I really hate my family.”

Lucian looked at Lycane and laughed.

“Do not be such a melodramatic fool. Did you really think he would mate you? Did you want to give up your Alpha status that much? You cannot. You cannot do such things so stop being so damn selfish.’
“You sat here mocking and egotistical. If you are such a bad ass then act like it and grow up. You have a large pack of canines who need you to behave like an adult and need your guidance. Sesshoumaru already has enough problems without adding your pack on top of them. He already monitors all demon kind and from what I hear you rarely go to the court hearings. That is part of being a responsible Alpha. You want power than act like you want it.”

Lucian stated angrily as he stood up and slapped Lycane across the face with his claws. Lycane got up to fight back, but Lucian put up a barrier and watched the pup punch at it.

“I will fucking kill you! I am going to slice you open and rip out your intestines! No one fucks with me like this! No one!”

Lycane kept fighting, but knowing it was futile he decided he was going to leave the room. He pounded on the walls as he realized he was in the barrier. Growling he tried to change, but he could not.

“Little one I am going to leave for a few hours. When you have calmed yourself and can act like an adult I will return. If for any reason you wish to speak as one too I will listen. I can hear all your thoughts and I know everything you wish to do so if you want to trick me you will find it to be impossible. I have seen it all. Have a fine time in your little den until I return.”

With that Lucian left the room letting Lycane explode. He entered the living room with a fuming Megan who was bound and gagged since she was not going to go have sex with her mates without him. It was amusing, but Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru looked rather concerned about the situation as well as themselves.

“You are really asking for hell Lucian. It was better when you left her alone to yell at you. She is going to kill you now. Don’t think just because she is little that she can’t cause pain.”

Kouga stated as he too looked a bit afraid.

“Ya might have to watch your balls.”

Inuyasha stated and Sesshoumaru swallowed hard.

“True. She does have a balls torture fetish.”

Lucian looked at the men like they were crazy to fear such a delicate little female.

“She is a woman, a delicate flower that you all should treat like a treasure. You young men and your games should only be for males. Women are to be treated with care and your affection. Untie her immediately.”

Sesshoumaru looked at the scratches on his arms that were pretty damn deep and still healing.

“Inuyasha you do it.”

Inuyasha looked at his arms and his back still hurt. She had flung him across the room when he told her why they were doing this.

“No fucking way in hell. It took five of us to do this and Kagome was none to thrilled that Hojo got involved. It was bad enough with me, Alistair, Miroku, you, Kouga, and Hojo. I ain’t touching those ropes until I know my balls are safe. She threatened to rip all of ours off and those two chickens Hojo and Miroku took off. Assholes.”

Lucian rolled his eyes.

“You do not apparently understand how to deal with her.”

Creating a barrier around Megan she growled.

“I did this to your son and I can do it to you.”

Megan finally ripped through the bindings and tore off the gag.

“And you think that I will just change for you? I can be in here for days pal. I will constantly think of new ways to torment your damn life. If you think you can change me by putting up this thing and ruling my sex life you have a whole other problem than just being a chauvinistic egotistical tyrant.’
“You seem to forget men like my boy will get over his grudge eventually. He won’t store it up to use against you again and again later. I will.”

Megan stated with her foot tapping on the floor as her eyes got redder by the second. Her aura was going to disapate his barrier. He couldn’t believe it.

“Lucian, meet the first female Alpha demon. Megan is part cat and cat females rule.”

Ayame stated softly agreeing that the men were in for it.

“I tried to warn them.”

Kagome stated shaking her head.

“And if you think that she is going to rip just the boys apart Lucian you are in for a rude awakening. You should have never messed with Lycane. A Mother just doesn’t care what her kid did since she can take him out of the world if he fucks up.”

Ayame stated and placed a gentle hand on Megan once she made the barrier go away.

“So, what am I going to do to you men……….how about no sex at all. How does that sound? Since I do rule the women in this house and even Lycane’s lot we can do that. Also no more buying electronics unless you want them to be busted across the room.’
“Oh, and my dears your balls are safe now. I will remember though to use that later. You are all grounded including you Lucian.”

With that she put the barrier around Lucian and left them all staring while Lucian fumed. He couldn’t get out. He gave that woman his blood and now he was stuck.

“What the fuck does she mean no sex!”

Inuyasha wined as he hit Sesshoumaru. Kouga looked at Ayame and Kagome.

“Well she didn’t say we couldn’t have it with each other.”

Megan yelled from the other room.

“I heard that! No sex! Not for a week! If you do it with each other I will harm parts of you that you really, really like.”

Kouga threw his book across the room, Inuyasha looked daggers at Sesshoumaru.

“I blame you.”

Inuyasha growled out as he stormed upstairs. Sesshoumaru snarled and kicked the wall. He knew this was a terrible idea.

Alistair and Touga frowned looking daggers at Lucian. Even they wouldn’t fuck with a pissed off Megan. She would probably kill them if they did. Touga though looked at Lucian with daggers since that meant no Alistair which really fucked with his libido. A libido that had no end in sight so Alistair was of course happy about this seeing it as a small vacation.

Ayame smirked as she picked up the phone to call the other women as well as the guys to tell them all about Megan’s rule for the week. God help any man who broke it since most of the females were on her side and once they heard about this crap they were going to probably give their men hell and it was all Lucian’s fault.

Kagome pat Lucian on the shoulder once the barrier was gone.

“Welcome to the family hun.”

Lucian chased after Megan wanting to set her straight. Men could not survive one whole damn week without sex. That was just too much. He just mated her and her mates for hells sakes plus how was he to train Lycane? No this had to be fixed.
