My Fair Wolfy

Coming home with his kills, Inuyasha found Kouga was gone. Sesshoumaru padded in behind him and then sat on the floor trying not to laugh.

“Where the hell did that wolf get to?”

Inuyasha growled as he threw down the elk. Kouga’s smell was still there and there wasn’t a sign of her.

“She didn’t get far and will not I assure you Inuyasha. Just wait and you will see.”

Looking out the window at what Sesshoumaru was laughing at there was a wolf demon Princess who somehow got her armor or some kind of armor back sitting in a tree cursing at nothing in particular.

“Seems like I am not the only full demon upset about being a half demon’s beta Inuyasha, but I am not going to complain too much since now I can relax while you get to be the responsible one for a change.”

Inuyasha snarled at Sesshoumaru.

“Turn back into your normal self or don’t talk to me. You are being so damn weird.”

Sesshoumaru shrugged and padded over to the middle of the floor to lie down and Inuyasha frowned at him the whole way.

“I am not going to change back yet Inuyasha. I have to let the food digest.”

Inuyasha sighed frustrated as he ran his hand across his face shaking his head. What the hell had he gotten himself into? It was bad enough that his very best friend who was the biggest pain in the ass he ever knew was a beautiful wolf demoness, but to have to deal with his brother too was just too much. It was too fucking weird to have Sesshoumaru actually following him around and waiting for him to make decisions when it had always been Sesshoumaru who did the leading of the packs.

“Great, you are going to go to sleep while I deal with the bitch in the tree.”

Sesshoumaru couldn’t help letting a smile creep across his muzzle as the words ‘exactly’ came to mind concerning Inuyasha’s predicament. Perhaps being the one not in control could be a lot of fun. He could torment Inuyasha still all he wanted to and have some power considering Inuyasha didn’t know what the crap he was doing. It would be fun to see him rule the lands of Japan and all the chaos within now that he didn’t have to do it anymore.

Inuyasha debated back and forth about the wolf. Should he go and get his ass kicked possibly not that Kouga was ever much of a threat? Perhaps it was best to let the idiot wolf cool off. Didn’t matter Kouga was a female, Kouga was still Kouga the wimpy ass wolf that would argue with him until her face turned purple just to prove she was right.

“Are you afraid of a little wolf pup Inuyasha? Do you need me to hold your hand?”

Sesshoumaru taunted really enjoying the idea he could start acting as irresponsible and foolish as Inuyasha did now. Only Rin would be kept in the dark about some of this since he protected her, but other than that Inuyasha could keep the squawking Jaken. The toad demon could now torment Inuyasha every day asking him a bunch of questions that Inuyasha wouldn’t want to answer either. In fact as part of a mating gift he would do just that making Jaken Inuyasha’s retainer from now on.

“No………I don’t need you to hold my hand you jerk.”

Inuyasha jumped down onto the tree and cautiously approached the growling female.

“I told ya you stupid mutt that I don’t wanna be here so go away!”

Kouga growled and swatted at Inuyasha who easily avoided the swipe.

“Guess you can’t huh………..”

Inuyasha stated looking at the blue eyes of the wolf demon who wore her hair up in a top knot even though now there was no doubt she was a female. The furs she threw together for her armor were rather fetching and white like Sesshoumaru’s fur. In fact it was kind of like dog fur.

“The Dog Demon Queen gave this to me saying that men are evil including your Father and I agree. They take what they want and make us dress in uncomfortable clothing looking like dolls. I don’t want to be one so she helped me out.”

Kouga sat looking out at the mountains wondering how her pack was doing and if they already picked a replacement for her.

“You know they will and it will probably be someone you hate. It is always that way, I mean look at my situation. I was forced to be mated to that asshole up there and now I rule over him. How warped is that and I don’t know how to rule anyone.”

Inuyasha stated sitting down feeling lost. Kouga scooted over to him.

“I guess mutt face since I am stuck with you forever I could teach you some stuff and I am sure Fluffy up there will do so just because we both know he is too anal to sit back watching you screw up all of his hard work no matter how hard he tries to do things by the book. You are our Alpha and so if we have to train you that is part of being mates not that I wanted to be yours like this mutt.”

Kouga stated with a blush looking away. Inuyasha looked shocked at the wolf.

“What do ya mean?”

Inuyasha asked trying not to get his hopes up.

“Oh come on you idiot, did you really think I came to claim Kagome? I was always picking on you Inuyasha and you are my best friend. Ayame was fooled by your Step Mother’s spell that she helped me with until I showed her the truth. It made her finally choose another. I just liked making you mad since you look your best when you are pissed off at me.”

Kouga stated and suddenly found herself on the lap of Inuyasha.

“You really liked me all this time and you hid this from me? Why? I would have loved………I mean I would have really thought you could have like……….well anyone……… I mean I am just a half demon……”

Inuyasha stated stammering a bit. Kouga couldn’t help tweaking one of those soft fuzzy ears.

“You are cute with those ears, make that you are beautiful Inuyasha. You and your big brother make me feel ugly. I wasn’t sure what you would think of some wolf coming on to you since there are so many of us…………”

Kouga found herself kissed by the mutt of her dreams. It was so weird and at the same time made her feel warm. It felt right.

“You are the one who is beautiful you wimpy wolf and I am glad you are wimpy.”

Inuyasha stated as he brushed a long black hair away from those eyes.
“No I ain’t……….”

Kouga started to say as Inuyasha put a finger on her mouth to silence her then shook his head no.

“You are beautiful and I would prefer you with your hair down since you kind of bug me with it up. It is still hard for me to believe my very best friend is the woman I would fall in love with.”

Inuyasha with one claw undid the binds of the top knot as the ebony onyx hair flowed around the wolf Princess making her look ethereal in the white fur. Her tanned skin and then those pale blue eyes bored into his. Inuyasha thought he could just stay there forever in that tree looking into those eyes.

“So what do ya want to do now mutt?”

Kouga stated as Inuyasha held her close not sure what to do either. He had been with many women and even so he felt completely nervous. This wasn’t just anyone, it was Kouga. This was his very best friend and someone he really felt for. Maybe Sesshoumaru was the person to ask, but then he would want to take over the big jerk………wait….no he wouldn’t. An evil smile lit up Inuyasha’s face.

“Come on Kouga, I am going to take you home and I am also going to show you that you still rule your pack as long as you don’t leave me ok?”

Inuyasha stated with a big smile. This might just work.

Inuyasha jumped through the window with Kouga in his arms with his sleeping brother yawning at him wagging his tail. It was too weird.

“I am so damn used to you growling at me.”

Sesshoumaru whimpered at Inuyasha.

“I couldn’t sleep. I missed you for some dumb reason.”

Inuyasha frowned. His brother was acting really weird.

“You are freaking me out Sesshoumaru so stop it already with the falling apart and acting all girly with me. You are far from being a woman.”

Sesshoumaru frowned.

“You are insulting as always and I was for once giving you a compliment. See if I do that again.”

Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru then smelled the room. Something was odd and off. It wasn’t right at all and his brother was rolling on the floor like a crazy puppy rather than the big evil demon Lord he was.

“Fine, can you just change back already? I mean how long does it take to digest all of that crap?”

Sesshoumaru sighed.

“It will at least take me a day Inuyasha so give me a break and rub my belly. You are supposed to cater to your mates so do it since I am all itchy now thanks to whatever was in that river you wanted to bathe in.”

Inuyasha sighed and put the wolf down. Kouga laughed at Sesshoumaru.

“You didn’t take him to the stream by the old caves we used to run did you Inuyasha?”
Sesshoumaru frowned trying hard to itch his back wishing his damn mate would start acting like one and take care of this problem.

“Ya, what of it Kouga, is that why I feel all itchy too?”

Kouga fell over laughing. She couldn’t help it. Kouga had Hakkaku and Ginta put powder into the water ways to keep the cat demons from bothering them. After doing so they got a nasty rash since the powder was made from poison ivy. That river was full of it.

“I think you will need more than some scratching and it should heal up after I put this on you both. Well, except for you Sesshoumaru since I can’t do this while you are in that form.”

Sesshoumaru frowned and whimpered as he scratched as well as bit himself to try to get the nasty itching to go away. Inuyasha sat with white goo all over where the rashes started to appear only in his loin cloth feeling rather exposed now. It wasn’t like he was naked in front of his brother and with Kouga being a woman even as his mate this was kind of humiliating for the Alpha to be cared for by the woman he was supposed to be wooing right now. How could he do anything when the rash even spread to his lower extremities thanks to Sesshoumaru shaking all that damn water off on him too?

“This is completely miserable…………”

Wined Sesshoumaru as Kouga tried to find a few parts to patch, but the big white dog was all fur.

“How can I comfort you Sesshoumaru when I am just as miserable as you are?”

Inuyasha whimpered.

“At least you have skin Kouga can put ointment on, I can’t change for another day! Another thing you take away from me you brat!”

Sesshoumaru roared as he sat up itching again making fur fly all over the room. Long silky white tufts as long as Inuyasha’s hair floated everywhere since Sesshoumaru was shedding. The maids soon came cleaning it up since they used it all apparently to create a lot of the bedding as well as for sewing. It could be woven and made into the most beautiful cloth.

“Well that ends my plans for tonight.”

Inuyasha whimpered as Kouga leaned against Sesshoumaru trying to help him by rubbing his ears as he cried in misery. His demonic powers kept trying to heal over the rashes, but the poison ivy wasn’t ordinary so it would be difficult for any demon to heal completely without assistance.

“Stop complaining Inuyasha. At least you get to sleep in a bed with ointment on you while I suffer all night long.”

Sesshoumaru stated as he tried every trick in the book to ignore the horrible itching laying on his side trying to find a way to rest or he would not ever digest the elks making it two days instead of one he would be stuck in this form.

“Look Sesshoumaru, it ain’t my fault I can’t change like you can and I feel for you. I really do, but what do you want me to do?”

Inuyasha stated dragging a blanket over to lean against the dog that looked down at Inuyasha then lay his head back on the ground.

“Just stay there. Maybe if you are near I can rest. Your presence not only annoys me, but for some odd reason comforts me right now. It is disturbing.”

Kouga sighed and started singing which no one knew she could do so well. It was beautiful and soon the dogs fell asleep to the lullaby. Kouga smirked. These men would not be too difficult to deal with. They were just two softies in silver fur that started to feel rather nice as she too fell asleep against the giant white dog.
