I thought I lost you

wolfluv: I'm glad you liked it... I apologize though for the shortness of these past chapters... i promise to do better next time... maybe it's because that I have to balance my story making with my studies...

well here it is... another chapter... hope you guys like this...

Chapter 6


Elixor ran as fast as he could. “I need to get prince Inuyasha away from that demon! At least inside the barrier of the sun well…” Elixor thought to himself. He ran as he carried Inuyasha in his arms. He saw mist by the distance. “The mist! Good! I reached it atlast! By there I can teleport the prince in the palace.” With out ever thinking he crossed the mist barrier and spoke “teleportatum” out loud. He appeared in front of the hospital wing and shouted for the healer. “Where is the healer?”

“Elixor stop shouting! You’re inside the hospital wing. Oh!” Jamima stopped and dropped the things she was holding when she saw Inuyasha in Elixor’s arms. Philander appeared and took Inuyasha from Elixors arms. “INuyasha! What happened to you? I told you not to be foolish! Elixor!” Philander called for him in rage. “You are his protector! You have no right to be called such!”

“This is no time for that Philander!” Jamima scolded. “Esirra!” Jamima called out.

A woman with red hair in a bun, with hazel eyes wearing a white tight fitting dress with a long flowing sash and white high heels. “Lady Jamima.” Esirra acknowledged.

“Prepare the things I will need.” Jamima said and looked at Philander. “Let’s bring him to his chambers and you,” she looked at a dejected Elixor “you can tell us what happen.” With that they all disappeared and reappeared in front of Inuaysha’s chambers. Elixor quickly opened the doors and Philander rushed in to lay Inuyahsa on the spacious bed. Jamima quickly checked on Inuyasha and sighed. “He has a fever. Esirra prepare the antipyretics, Elixor I want you to get a basin with cold water and two towels.” Elixor complied quickly “And Philander! Stop pacing back and forth! If you don’t stop I bet you’re going to dig a hole on the floor make yourself useful for once!”

“What do you want me to do!”

“Sit there!” Jamima pointed at a chair by Inuyasha’s bed.

“Ok.” Philander regained his composure and sat beside Inuyasha.

“Lady Jamima…” Elixor called out to Jamima.

Jamima looked at Elixore holding a basin with two towels.

“Put it on the stand, Esirra do him a sponge bath.” Jamima ordered as she prepared the aroma therapy. She disappeared and re-appeared holding a plant with a white flower. She placed the plant on the bedside table “Heart of Abel do as told, Inuyasha, thy breath, thy pulse, thy hearts beat, show it with the colors that adores thee.” Jamima whispered to the flower. The flower started to change colors and returned to white. “Inuyasha is ok. He just has a fever.”

“That’s good to hear.” Philander said in relief. “Now Elixor what happened to him.” Elixor started to narrate everything that happened.

“I see that now he remembers.” Philander said monotonously. “Now everything will be up to you Inuyasha… If… you… will still accept me to be your intended.” He said to himself.



“Inuyasha…” a soothing voice called on to him. “Inuyasha… open your eyes child.” Inuyasha opened his eyes and saw himself lying in a field of flowers beside him is a woman that glowed white.

“Who are you…?” Inuyasha asked the woman.

The woman smiled at him “it makes me sad that I held on to this child but he doesn’t remember me because he was sleeping at that time and I had to leave.”

“I’m sorry but I really can’t remember you…” Inuyasha said confused.

“Maybe this could make you remember… ‘Just call on to the moon my darling… I will be there for you… I love you, my grandson Inuyasha.’” Luna smiled more when he saw realization dawn on Inuyasha’s face.

“Grandma! I can’t believe this!” he said as he hugged Luna. “But why am I here? Am I dead?”

Luna chuckled “no silly child, you are here because I brought you here.”

“But why?” Inuyasha inquired.

“I am sorry child but I don’t want the same thing that happened to your mother to happen to you. Those demons don’t deserve you… they don’t deserve my family.” Luna said and stood.

“What do you mean Grandma?” Inuyasha said as he stood.

“You will forget Inuyasha.” Luna said and white light surrounded her.

“but-“

“From the one that leads you in the dark, the one that looks at you at night, the one that stays even when the sun defeats my light… I Luna summon my powers and make you Inuyasha forget what has been realized and when you wake u you will see Sesshomaru as a demon of no relation, a demon that tried to kill you, the demon that is your enemy the enemy of your race, the elves, as you will and still are.” Luna chanted.

“Grandma!” Inuyasha called on to Luna.

“When you wake up everything will take effect. When you wake up then you will forget that this happened. Now go back to your world. And remember that I did this… because… I love you.”

Inuyasha got into a daze. Luna came to him and gave Inuyasha a kiss on his forehead. “Go back now child. I will always look out for you.” Then everything became black.



The heart of Abel started to change in different colors. “What is happening Jamima!” Philander called on to her.

“I don’t know! The Heart of Abel usually shows a single color on how the person is doing! This is the first time that it simultaneously changes colors!” Jamima explained.

The simultaneous change lasted for a short time, it stopped in the color white and Inuyasha started to regain consciousness. “Aw...! My head really hurts…” Inuyasha complained holding his head as he sat up.

“Inuyasha! You're ok! Oh thank goodness!” Jmaima flung herself to him.

“I’m ok Jamima! I do get thrown to a tree once in a while you know.” Inuyasha tried to get Jamima from hugging ever so tightly. Jamima upon hearing what Inuyasha said released him. “What is that you say?” Jamima said with confusion on her face.

“The demon Sesshomaru hit me with his sword and I flew to a tree. That made me unconscious. Didn’t Elixor tell you that?” Inuyasha said annoyingly.

“Elixor!” Philander sai with a tone that Elixor must explain.

“Don’t go ballistic on him Philander… It’s not his fault. I told him not to interfere… Mother! Your back!” Inuyasha tried to get up from his bed but his mom stopped him.

“Yes, I am son…”

Everyone looked at Elvira that stood by the door.

“Mother.” Philander and Jamimia said in chorus.

“My queen.” Elixor acknowledged.

Elvira slowly came to Inuyasha and sat beside him on the bed. She cupped Inuyasha’s cheeks “I’m happy that you’re ok my son… now rest…” Elvira soothed. “We will call if it’s time to eat.” Elvira said not in his usual tone of voice.

“Is there something wrong mother?” Inuyasha said worriedly.

“No darling… nothing is wrong… now lie down and rest.” Elvira let Inuyasha lie down.

“I feel that you’re not telling me something.” Inuyasha said as he was lying down.

“That is nonsense! Now rest…” Elvira said in mock scold. Inuyasha pouted at that and as expected got what he was looking for.

“aw! Mother! Stop!” Inuyasha tried to pry Elvira’s arm away from his cheeks.

“Oh Inuyahsa! You just so adorable when you do that!” Elvira said lively as she squeezed Inuyasha’s cheeks.

“oooh! My baby brother is ok! Are you!” Jamima said in baby talk as she flung herself to Inuyasha.

“Aaah! Sheesh! Stop this now! How do you expect me to rest if you two keep on doing this?!” Inuyasha tried to pry his mother and now his sister from him.

“Ok ok! You don’t have to go on rage…” Jamima said as she got up. “but you’re the cutest baby brother a sister could ever have!” Jamima baby talked to Inuyasha.

“Will you cut that out?! Mother! She talks to me like I’m some kind of baby!” Inuyasha pleaded to her mother.

“Jamima!” Elvira said mock scolding. “He’s not your baby brother! He’s also my baby son!” she said as she got a hold again of Inuyasha’s cheeks.

“Aw! Aw! Aw! Stop! How can I rest!” Inuyasha pleaded.

“Ok… Inuyasha… rest… don’t be stubborn!” Elvira scolded. “Elixor… would you stay by his side… and, make sure he really rest.” Elvira said to elixor standing by the balcony door.

“Yes my queen” Elixor monotonously repleied.

“Good. Now rest! Let’s go now Philander… Jamima…” she called on to her son and daughter as she walked out of the room followed by Philander.

“Esirra, go back to the lab after you gave him the analgesic for his headache ok?” Jamima instructed Esirra and left the room.

“Yes lady Jamima.” She said as she prepares the tablets she made and gave it to Inuyasha with a glass of water.


“That child really knows how to cheer me up.” Elvira said with a smile as sat beside her table in Philander’s study.

“Mother. What happened to Inuyasha?” Jamima asked seated in one of the couch in the study.

“Your grand mother goddess Luna…” Elvira said in a serious tone. “Erased his memory of the encounter he had with Sesshomaru… well… the part of the realization.”

“That explains it.” Philander stated.

“But why does grandmother do this?” Jamima inquired.

“She doesn’t want Inuyasha to know that he’s part demon because she fears that what happened to your Aunt Izayoi will also happen to him.” Elvira sighed.

“I thought that gods and goddesses have no right to interfere with middle earth and destiny.” Jamima asked.

“They have… but it doesn’t mean they can’t” Elvira explained.

“What does he think of Sesshomaru then?” Jamima added.

“A mere demon…” Elvira sighed.

“An enemy…” Philander added.
