Someone new for Inu

Shrugging, Sam dressed in a short tank and shorts and climbed into bed. When Inuyasha returned she was fast asleep and he jumped up to lie beside her. She mumbled his name in her sleep and rolled over to snuggle against him.

“Damn,” he mumbled as his groin throbbed.


The alarm went off at 4 am startling them from a deep sleep. He grabbed the clock and smashed it into a pulp and Sam groaned. He settled back beside her and she mumbled as she snuggled back against him.

“Even Kag didn’t trust me this much,” he muttered, putting an arm around her. “It’s nice to know she does.”

He buried his nose in her long hair and sniffed in her scent. He than moved his hand softly along her body feeling her softness as she slept. She moaned in her sleep and batted the blanket off her. His eyes widened when he saw her top had ridden up uncovering her breasts.

He gently touched one, feeling the ample weight in his hand. He quickly covered her back up when she began to stir. Her eyes opened and she smiled when she saw his golden orbs.

“Good morning,” she said stretching. “Let’s go eat and than we can leave.”

His clawed hand gently stopped her from leaving. She turned to look at him and gasped when he pulled her against him. His lips covered hers in a deeper kiss, his tongue probing against her lips.

“Inuyasha, stop,” she said suddenly breaking away. “I told you before, I will not take you away from Kikyo.”

She quickly grabbed her clothes and ran into the bathroom. She stepped into the shower and sighed as the warm water soothed her body. After her shower she dressed and entered her now empty bedroom.

“Inuyasha?” she called as she went downstair’s.

“In the kitchen,” he called.

She stopped at the doorway when she saw him carry two bowls of cereal to the table. He avoided her eyes as she sat beside him to eat.

“When we go back there is something I need to do. Will you be all right with Kaede for a couple of days?” he said.

“Yes of course,” she said smiling softly.


He dropped her off with Kaede and she waved as he left. She spent the next few days working on her miko skill’s with the old woman. On the morning of the 4th day she donned her miko clothes and went to practice her archery. It was afternoon when she noticed Inuyasha was sitting and watching her.

“Welcome back Inu,” she said lowering her bow. “Did you resolve what needed to?”

“Yes,” he said walking over to her. “I have already said your goodbye’s to Kaede. Ready to go?”

She nodded and climbed to his back, her arms linked around his neck. They traveled through the afternoon and camped just after the sun went down. Sam remembered there was a hot spring nearby and went to bathe. As she sat washing her hair she heard him walk over and his clothing drop to the ground.

“Want me to wash your hair Inu?” she said when he sat beside her.

He nodded and she took her place behind him after he wet his hair. She rubbed her fingers through his hair softly making sure to get it all. He suddenly leaned back against her and looked at her.

“Something wrong Inu?” she said.

“I won’t be going to see Kikyo anymore,” he said.

“Oh really. Why? I thought she was a nice woman,” she said.

“We have decided that our relationship wasn’t working. Not when one of us has fallen for another,” he said turning to pin her to the rock. “Sam, I like you and I want to be with you.”

She cocked her head and saw he was telling the truth. She nodded and he smiled a toothy grin. He leaned forward and kissed her softly, her body warming as she finally was able to kiss him back. She let his hands roam her body as he kissed down her neck and licked her pulse. He heard her moan when he cupped a breast in his clawed hand.

“You feel and smell good,” he whispered when he pulled her into a hug. “I want to take it slow, to let us learn how we both feel.”

“That is just fine with me,” she said, her hands resting against his beautiful chest. “But not too slow. I am only here another 2 weeks or so.”

He grinned and kissed her again before diving under to rinse his hair. They were soon chasing each other through the water again as the warm evening deepened. She fell asleep after eating with him beside her in the sleeping bag.

Two days later they rejoined the other’s and were soon on their way to help Sesh. She became fast friend’s with Saya and was like an aunt to little Rin. She even got past Jaken’s exterior and made friend’s with him.

In the evening’s Inu would carry her off to some hot springs, or some other place where they could be alone and be together. The night before they were to reach the western lands she sat in his arms watching the stars. She felt something change behind her and she turned to see him in human form.

“So this is why you wanted to come here tonight. So I could see this,” she said turning to touch his face.

“Both Kikyo and Kagome have said they wanted me to be human like them. But this is me,” he said.

“Inuyasha, I like you either way. I wouldn’t change a thing about you,” she said straddling him. “I am even hooked on your grumpiness.”

He smiled and she leaned forward to kiss him. Even though he was human now, he was still the Inuyasha she had fallen for. She heard him sigh as she snuggled against him and he rested his chin on her head. They soon fell asleep nestled in his arms.

The sun shined down on them as it rose. Sam looked up to see him still asleep and she tried to move without waking him. His eyes opened and he grinned at her.

“This has become quite normal. Sleeping with you,” she chuckled. “But if I don’t move I am going to cramp.”

He chuckled and she crawled from his arms and stood stiffly. He carried her back to camp where they ate breakfast before moving onward. Saya sighed as she once again walked beside a silent Sesh. Over the weeks they had been together she had begun to have feelings for him, yet knew it was fruitless.

“Rin,” she said to the girl as they walked. “After he saves his lands, I must go back home. My family will need me for the upcoming harvest.”

“But Sesh, he need you too,” said the girl.

“I do not need another human,” said Sesh, seeing her flinch.

“Lord Seshomarou is a powerful demon Rin. As he has already made it clear he doesn’t need a filthy human around.”
