Wait For Me

Kagome didn’t know what to think about what she had learned earlier that day. She felt a little bit broken inside from the small fact that Sesshomaru hadn’t told her anything about Abigail and her daughter.

That night Kagome stayed in her own room, in her own house and cried herself to sleep. She couldn’t remember the last time she cried this much. She knew something had changed…. Things were more complicated now, than they were before.

She hadn’t gotten the chance to tell Sesshomaru some very important news. She had been called into a meeting regarding a recording deal. She had signed up with the top record company in the whole world. She was going to be the next star, and she had wanted to share that with Sesshomaru, her only true love.

Now she had a gig planned at the club for her new bosses to listen to and see what they think. They were going to decide what degree to start her off at. As in start off small or go all out and work it to make the most money. She just didn’t want it anymore. She was losing the will to sing. She got her songs from her heart and what she felt, but now she didn’t feel that much.

Instead of using feelings, she was going to use her thoughts to plan out her new song for the gig at the club. She sat down at her desk and got a piece of paper and a blue gel pen.

--I thought we were suppose to tell each other--

*Yeah that’s a great start right there.* Kagome thought to herself.

Sesshomaru had tried to get Kagome to talk to him, but she wouldn't answer his calls. He was so frustrated by the time Monday came around. He woke up later than normal and took longer in the shower. When he got to school he happened to be late for first period. *Damn it all to hell!* he yelled in his thoughts.

“Mr. Tashio you are late.” said the female teacher.

“I know!” he yelled, and when the teacher’s eyes widened he rubbed his temples as he felt a headache coming.

“Go to the principles office Mr. Tashio.” she said in shock that he would speak out like that.

With that Sesshomaru left first period and made his way towards the office. He noticed Kagome in the hallway and approached her.

“Kagome?” Sesshomaru waited for her to turn around and talk to him.

“Sorry Sesshomaru I need to be somewhere right now. I can’t be standing around like this.” She said as she turned around and looked at him.

He could see the pain in her eyes and decided that he hated every minute of it. *I hate that look in her eyes more than anything cuz I know I was the one to put it there in the first place.* he thought.

“Please Kagome… We really need to talk.” Sesshomaru pleaded with her.

“I think we said enough as it is Sesshomaru. See you around.” Kagome said as she turned and walked away.

Sesshomaru stood there for awhile feeling bad for everything that happened on Saturday. *It’s not my fault though* he thought to himself.

He made his way to the office and found himself with a detention for yelling at a teacher. He walked back to the classroom and sat down in his seat thinking of what to do to fix his issue with Kagome, his one love.

“Hey Sesshomaru I feel sorry for you, and I hope you two work it out.” said a student to his left.

“What are you talking about?” Sesshomaru asked totally baffled.

“I heard that Kagome got a recording deal.” The student replied.

“What!” Sesshomaru yelled.

“Oh you didn’t know yet? Well then I’m sorry I ruined the surprise. She is singing down at the club this coming Saturday so they can see more of her, but in a public setting and things I guess. I so wanna go see her… You know before she leaves on Sunday.” the student said.

“She’s leaving?” Sesshomaru was in a state of shock. He never thought Kagome would leave him behind… but now she was. *She didn’t even say anything*

“Yeah on Sunday. They want her to move so she can be closer to them and in a place like LA or New York or something like that.” the student said as he turned his head to start paying attention to what the teacher was saying.

Sesshomaru was stunned and he felt this weird emotion in his chest. *What is this?* he thought to himself.

-It’s heartbreak-

#Who are you?#

-Your inner beast-

#Oh… why are you talking to me now?#

-Because our mate is leaving us-

#We don’t have a mate#

-No but the one we want is leaving-

#She doesn’t even want to talk to me#

-Straighten it out then, because I refuse to take that bitch’s daughter
as a mate-

#She is youkai you know#

-Oh I know alright, I want my Kagome instead-

#Kagome wouldn’t live as long though#

-One night could last a life time…. If that’s all I can have then I’ll take it-

#You love Kagome?#

-No-

#But you just said…#

-WE love Kagome… That’s why you’re feeling heartbreak at the moment-

Sesshomaru stopped talking to his beast when the bell rang and he walked out into the hallway. He looked around and saw Kagome standing against the lockers with Sango and Miroku. She looked up as if she could feel his eyes on her and he looked away and started walking the other way.

Kagome watched him walk away and she didn’t go after him. She was hurting inside. She finished the song she wrote and knew it wasn’t as good as some others were. It would do though.

She knew he was hurting, but why she didn’t understand. Nor did she really care right now.

She was hurting too much as well. All she wanted to do was go up to him and hug him close and say it will be alright. *But is it going to be alright?* she thought.
