Love Me For An Eternity

Kagome was happy again. It seemed that she was happier than she had ever been. She had been dating Sess for two months now and they still haven't had sex yet. She wasn't complaining because she was at a time of peace in her life. Kagome and Sess now lived together in their own house. It was a three bedroom and completely furnished and was the best house on the block. It had it's own library of wall to wall books from floor to the very sky, or so it seemed. It even had its own ballroom. Sess was rich and had bought this house and had asked her to move in and live with him one day.

She had sold her old things from her apartment with Inuyasha. Her and Sess had gone shopping for the house and had gotten everything they could ever need. She had laughed when they went bed shopping and Sess laid down on a bed and said it was so fluffy and soft... for that was what she thought of him.

Today was a good day though... it was Halloween. She had always loved dressing up for Halloween. Even though she was too old to go trick or treating by everyone's standards... she still did it and didn't give a damn what everyone else said about it. Her costume was a secret though and a surprise for Sess was planed for tonight.

Sess and Kagome were planning a Halloween ball for tonight. The maids that they had hired were decorating the ballroom with balloons, streamers, and setting up tables for the food, and the DJ was setting up his booth in the corner. The invitations were sent out a month ago and they had made sure the whole senior class was invited and then some.

Kagome was in her room getting ready for the night to start. She smiled down at her costume... it was a Playboy Fantasy Fairy. A romantic pink off-the-shoulder dress with v-neck and burgundy and green flower accents, clear adjustable straps, back-lacing, delicate gauzy strips at the hem of the dress and sheer rhinestone fairy wings with clear adjustable straps. When she was done putting it on, she started down stairs to where the party was already starting up.

When she reached the top of the stairs and looked down at the man waiting for her there she couldn't help but stare at him. Sess was wearing a tux and had a black velvet cape and when she got down the stairs and he smiled at her she could tell that he had fangs... not many people knew these were his actual fangs though.

Sess was speechless as his beautiful girlfriend walked down the stairs to him. He smiled at her because that's all he could do. He offered Kagome his arm and they walked into the ballroom.

Everyone stopped and looked at the happy couple. A vampire and a fairy... one heck of a match they all thought. Inuyasha and Kikyou looked at the couple and once again Inuyasha was jealous that his cousin got his girl. Kikyou was jealous as well...

Things had not been going well for Inuyasha and Kikyou. They were happy, but not as happy as they were when they had Kagome and Sess. Another problem was that now Kikyou was expecting a pup in oh say about 7 months time. She was happy about that, but Inuyasha wasn't all that happy.

Later in the evening the DJ played a slow dance... "This goes out to all you lovely couples tonight." he said.

"Lets dance Kagome." said Sess as he dragged Kagome on the dance floor. He put his hands on her waist and Kagome put her arms around his neck and they started slow dancing together.

Kagome rested her head on Sess's shoulder and she closed her eyes and was just following Sess in dancing. She loved this song.

Sess held Kagome tighter to his body and closed his eyes too and just breathed in the scent of her hair. She was lovely tonight.

Inuyasha watched as Sess and Kagome danced together and he was jealous of their love... and yes he knew now that was what they really had.

Kikyou watched on as Kagome danced with Sess and she envied her. She looked on with sad eyes of everything she lost. But mostly she was sad because they had found the love she had always dreamed of.

One single tear slipped and fell to the floor... it belonged to Kikyou. Yes she was a bitch at times, but she too had a heart.

Sess opened his eyes and Kagome did too as the song was ending and they stared deep into each other eyes.

Sess bent down and kissed Kagome right there in front of everyone. He didn't care about what they thought about this show. It was their house and if they didn't like it then they can leave for all he cared. All that was important to him right then was the kiss he was sharing with Kagome on the dance floor.
