It was a warm sunny day, the sort of day that would have one avoiding the indoors, save for a cool, refreshing glass of juice.
And that is exactly where we find our main character, sitting upon a branch reading the book entitled 'The many infections, injuries and ailments of the human world'.
Her teal hair in a long braid that sat innocently upon her shoulder as her blue dress and white apron blew in the gentle breeze.

Her innocent crimson eyes shining in curiosity, but suddenly the beautiful maiden was disturbed from her peacful reading. And before her very eyes a young girl with long ebony hair tyed in a similar braid strolled on by her perch.
Now the odd thing about this woman-child that walked leasurely was the pair of white rabbit ears that twitched upon her head, an odd thing indeed.

As young Yukina watched the girl she noted the twitchy bunny tail that peeked from beneath the white waist coat and brushed the matching trousers.
Her red vest and white dress shirt fit the outfit as did the black bow tie.

Her lazy light blue eyes glanced the the silver pocket watch she had pulled from her trousers.

"Crap I'm gonna be late...but not much I can do, nor do I really give a damn." The white rabbit whispered

Her curiosity piqued Yukina began to fallow the rabbit only until it came to an old dried well where it hopped right into the inky depths.
And yukina (having seen matrix one too many times) fallowed the white rabbit.

When Yukina jumped into the dark well she had not expected the flashing blue light nor the weightless feeling.

And yet as the young koorime fell many things floated about her just as slow in their fall.

"I am pretty sure these items aren't supposed to float, but I don't know maybe its just apart of the curiosities I will solve."

After having been drifting for sometime the young maiden began to grow sleeping, only to land upon something soft, curious, she stod and looked to see what it was.
She found a large white pillow.

'That is an odd place for a cushion.' So being the sweet girl she was, Yukina dusted off the pillow and put it to the side, before turning to see a glass table.
Upon the glass tabled was a bottle labeled 'Drink Me'.

Being thirsty and naive she did just that, but not before grabbing the gold key next to it for surely she needed to find the owner.
She suddenly and rapidly began shrinking.

"Oh my, I am tiny!"

But when she looked about her she saw a door that seemed about the right size for her to go through, and having no other options she went to the door only to discover it locked. So she once more looked around and spotted the key. It was now much larger the she was, but she was a strong girl.

lifting the key with ease, despite it being likely three times her weight, she unlocked the door and opened it.
The moment she stepped outside the door she was in a beautiful blizzard! She was smiled (being ice maiden this was her favorite scenery) as she gazed around.
What was harsh winds to others, seemed like a welcoming spring breeze to her.

As she walked though the ice land, the snow parting in her path as she did so, she gazed around in admiration of all the frostbitten trees and winter animals that dared to brave the storm.

As she walked further into the white forest she came upon a rather large orange cat, with a wide grin.
The feline's grin widdened as she walked towards the creature.

'Ano, that Neko looks much like someone I know...'


"Oh Hello there! I don't mean to give you a scare." The cat's chipper voice was a little odd.

"Who are you?" Her blunt question completely threw the the cat off.

"Why I am Botan the cheshire cat, at your humble service!" She gave a bow before returning to her previous position with a wide grin.

"May I ask why are things so odd here?"

"Because my dear, here we are all Madd! You and I, I and you, us two we are madd! All in our litte land are madd."

"But I am not madd, I am a actually happy."

The cat seemed to become blank faced before clarifing.

"My dear, what I mean is not what you seem to hear, darling in this land you see we are all crazy!"

"Oh, but where is here?"

The cat answered with twinkling eyes "Go to the March Hare and Madd Hatter, there you will find the answers you seek. Now before you speak I must be off you see, for I have other places to be and people to see!" She blinked as the cat seemed to vanish from its spot on its perch.
Sighing in dissapointment she continued on.

As she walked on the began to hear the whistle of a tea pot, and in good need of direction she headed toward the sound.

Walking further toward the sound she saw a odd sight; a young man, a hare and a mouse, only two of which were awake and driking tea.

The hare sipped upon her tea as she argued and chatted with the young man with a rather large top hat, almost too big for his head.
The mouse was asleep, head resting in the nest of his arms.

"Ano, excuse me, may I ask a question?" The bickering stopped as both sets of brow eyes landed upon her, one set hazel and the other chocolate.

"Yo, I am Madd Hatter Urameshi, you can call me Yusuke and she is March Hare Shizuru. Call her Shizuru. So who are you, and what do you want to ask?"

"Ah, I am Yukina and I wished to know where I am..."

"Oh, well you are there, and we are here you see, now sit and join us for tea..." He stated simply as he poured a cup. 'Not very helpful' She thought.

"Uh, excuse me, but whom is that he?" She motioned toward the mouse between the two.

"Oh him, he is Hiei. He has a real temper that one when he is awake oh man...and he never can understand our puns! He rarely tries to have fun."

"Thank you, but why is he so sleepy?"

"Oh he is always this way when its cold, been like that since he was two years old. Fire is his element, he is a thief, an ass and a liar."

"Yes Yukina, he can't ever be civil, he would rather have a conversation never. Only one has managed to grant his attention."

Curious again Yukina asked, "Who?"

Both looked to her and spoke together.

"The white Rabbit."

"Oh man is she a work, the red queen is very mean, yet he never cuts off her head! Can murder and still kiss the queens hand with such an innocent grin!"

"Ah, but she is to cute you have to admit, and she is definately not a twit! All those other girls, oh brother." The hare rolled her eyes.

"Of coarse! She is the queens vizier, she knows everything that happens here!"

"Well maybe I should go see the white rabbit, maybe she has a way home."
Both heads immediatly turned in her direction with such speed she was surpirsed they did not get whiplash.

"But you can't go alone! We shall join you!" The hare quickly agreed with the Hatter.

"Though first we must wake or friend, we shall take him as well."

Pinching the mouse, the hatter then backed away just in time to avoid a flare. Sleepy red eyes stared at nothing as the mouse awoke, growling the entire time.
When he was fully awake his eyes landed upon her, at first they widened a bit before returning to their icy state.

"Wake up sleep head, this is no time for bed! We shall see the white rabbit to help Yukina-chan. Now hurry up we need a plan."

The Mouse gave the Hatter a fierce glare before slouching a bit and standing. He strolled leisurely over to Yukina, giving an occassional yawn.

"So what do you have in mind, I don't want to walk into a trap blind." The hare was quick to get to the point as she stretched.

The Hatter stroked his chin in thought, occassionally glancing in the direction Yukina and the mouse were in.

"We shall right barge in! The queen won't expect such a move!"

The hare and mouse gave him a blank stare.

"Okay I vote Hiei comes with a plan." The hare stated.

"We take caution and fake when there is no option..." He looked about to continue so everyone remained silent.

Only to split when needed and my words must always be heeded."

All nodded before and began walking in the direction of the castle, unkown to them a pair of amused eyes watched from a distance.


Yukina and the madd trio stood before a giant mushroom to which a giant caterpillar sat atop. Smoking her hookah a sleepy look in her dulled brown eyes.

"What do you want nitwits? I have no time for twits."

"Please caterpillar-san, can you tell us which way it is to the queens castle."

The caterpillars eyes widened, then narrowed.

"I was right you are fools, there may be no written rules, but all those who seek the castle ussually wind up dead."

"We didn't ask for a speech, we came for directions, so don't preech." Hiei snapped back to the old caterpillar.

"Listen you, I am not in my prime and so if the guards come to behead me for giving you directions I can't give them a fight and nor can I take flight. I will become a crysallis soon and then when I have trasformed I can fight, but that will be won't be enough time for me to transform."

"We will make sure no guard survives to get you, now give us what we seek. I cannot always be as nice now when I speak."

"Fine, go past the waterfall that flows up and toward the field of dandilions soon you will reach the garden of red roses, beyond that is the castle you seek."

"Thank you Caterpillar-san." Yukina said as she bowed.

So the trio began taking the direstions they were given unseeing the caterpillar grinning up into the trees as her cocoon began to rapidly take form.

This Story has two parts...Can anyone guess who the red queen is? I have given multiple hints...many people already think him princley so it shouldn't be too hard!
