Warning: Hell yah! This is THE FLUFFY CHAPTER! Any fluff before this doesn't even COUNT cause this chapter takes the cake for fluff. You have been warned...

AN: Well here we go I am back. Thanks to all the reviews (and some late night inspiration I had) I have decided to continue this story. Theorectically I could have ended it at the last chapter but then I had this awesome idea for the plot and was like I HAVE TO KEEP WRITING THIS. Anyway lots of fluff this chapter (no lemon yet sorry). Also I am thinking everyone is a bit out of character this chapter but come on they LOVE EACH OTHER of course they will be different right? Please keep reviewing and enjoy!

Part 6

Inuyasha’s golden eyes followed the single ray of light piercing the curtains of Kagome’s room. It was a few minutes after sunrise and all night Inuyasha had been watching the movement of the moon and now the sun from his place on Kagome’s bed.

The girl in question was fast asleep, held gentle to his chest, his arms wrapped around her waist so that she wouldn’t fall. They had been this way since the night before when Kagome had practically begged him to stay with her after he carried her home. Inuyasha had agreed, ever mindful of the fear that Kagome’s family would catch him but unable to leave that human girl.

She had looked so helpless, even more so than when she thought she was going to die by that snake demon, no her’s had been the painful wound of loneliness, the fear that if she let him leave she would never see him again.

But why? Why did this human girl care so much about him? Had Kagome truly been serious when she said she was falling in love with him? Inuyasha’s heart wanted so badly to believe it, that this gorgeous creature loved him as much as he loved her. But he couldn’t allow himself to hope, no he was a worthless half-breed. He didn’t deserve anyone’s love, let alone the love of someone so pure and untroubled. The only thing Inuyasha felt he deserved was death. Death for bringing so much hurt into Kagome’s life.

The young girl in his arms stirred slightly, her hand gently entwining with his. As she did so a small smile came onto her face and she snuggled up against his chest even more.

Did being with him really make her so happy, even subconsciously she wished to be closer to him. How could he allow that though? Being away from her would kill both of them, emotionally and psychically. But being together could get them both killed too. And worse even than that Kagome could be ridiculed and thrown out by her family, just as his mother had been years before.

Why did it suddenly feel as if someone had his heart in there hands and was repeatedly squeezing it? Being this close to Kagome made him feel complete, and thanks to last night Inuyasha had reason to believe she felt the same way around him. After all she did fall asleep in his arms without any fear what so ever. Could their relationship really be that wrong if it made both of them so happy?

Inuyasha finally came back to earth from his thoughts and glanced over at Kagome’s alarm clock. It was ten minutes until she had to get up so he figured it was time for him to leave.

Detaching his hand from Kagome’s he gently trailed a claw down her cheek before whispering in her ear, “Come on wench, it’s time to wake up.”

Kagome mumbled something incoherent as her eyes fluttered open only to be met by two large golden orbs staring down at her. She blinked again as her eyes began to focus, “Inu – yasha?”

“Yes wench now come on before your family catches us.” Inuyasha said in exasperation, lifting the young girl up and setting her safely back down after he was untangled from her.

A look of surprise and understanding formed on Kagome’s face as she realized just what he meant. But just as Inuyasha was about to climb back out the window she reached out and grabbed his wrist.

“Wait Inuyasha! Today’s the weekend and all and I was wondering if – well – if you...” Kagome faltered as she stared up into Inuyasha’s golden eyes.

How could he have forgotten? Today was Saturday which meant that Kagome didn’t have to go to that ridiculous school of hers. “Hey wench, put some clothes on and then wait for me right here got that?”

Kagome raised an eyebrow, wondering just what her demon love interest wanted with her now and if he had possibly got what she had been implying. But Inuyasha merely rolled his eyes and jumped out the window.

She sighed, defeated, and walked over to her closet and pulled out an outfit. After she got dressed in a knee length light blue skirt and a white long sleeve shirt she put on a bit of lip gloss and pulled her hair into a ponytail. Then she had no choice but to sit back dow on the end of the bed and ponder what Inuyasha wanted with her.

“Oi bitch! Come on!” Anger blazed in Kagome’s body as she looked up to where Inuyasha was standing in the window frame. He was so INFURIATING! Never the less Kagome walked, no more like stomped, over to his side.

“Would you quit calling me that! I have a name so use it!” Kagome said, glaring daggers at him. How is it that he could be so nice and sweet one day and the next be a complete baka? Talk about bi-polar...

“Keh! Just come on would ya?” Inuyasha said. And too sudden for Kagome’s protest he wrapped an arm around her waist and jumped out the window. As soon as he was outside he shifted Kagome’s weight so that he was carrying her on his back and jumped off.

Kagome couldn’t believe how amazing this was. They were practically flying over Tokyo’s suburbs without a care in the world. The view was beautiful and had her arms wrapped around Inuyasha’s shoulders. All bad feelings about him were carried away on the wind as they jumped even higher into the sky.

Kagome gave a gasp of happiness and buried her head into his shoulder and whispered in his ear, “This is amazing Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha was thankful that Kagome wasn’t looking at his face at the moment cause he couldn’t hide the grin on his face. He could tell she wasn’t mad at him anymore, if she was ever even mad at him, and was just happy that he was able to make her happy.

“Inuyasha? Where exactly are we going?” Kagome asked, unable to wait anymore. They had left behind the large buildings of the suburbs and were headed towards a rather large forest.

Inuyasha waited until they were on the outskirts of the forest before replying, “Keh. You’ll see... wench.”

Kagome rolled her eyes as her cheeks turned pink and waited patiently for Inuyasha to get to their destination. A few minutes of running through the trees later Inuyasha began to slow down and when they finally stopped Kagome let out a gasp of wonder.

They had come to stop at a beautiful meadow with clumps of wildflowers growing up out of the tall grasses. A small, clear blue stream curved away through it and into the dark trees. There was a small rounding hill with a single large tree growing on it, it’s branches hanging over the waters of the brook.

Kagome let out a long, happy sigh as she slid off Inuyasha’s back. She grasped his hands and looked up at him, her glorious blue eyes shining with joy. “This is beautiful Inuyasha! Arigato.”

Inuyasha blushed bright red, his face amost matching the color of his t-shirt. “Keh, it was nothing.” He replied stubbornly, but nevertheless wrapped his arm around Kagome’s waist and drew her close to him, “I thought you might like it.”

“I love it. Come on!” Kagome said, breaking away from Inuyasha’s grasp and walking over to a large rock next to the stream. She pulled off her shoes and socks to dangle her bare feet in the water below.

Inuyasha smiled happily seeing Kagome having a good time and sat down next to her with his legs crossed. Kagome looked over at him, the sunlight reflecting on his white hair, making his golden eyes shine. There should be a law against anyone being that beautiful.

“Hey Inuyasha.” Kagome smiled and reached up for his ears. He glared at her before dropping his head a little in a “if you must” gesture. She grinned and gently began to rub her fingers in small circles across the triangle of pink and white flesh. Inuyasha struggled for a moment before closing his eyes in bliss. Kagome’s fingers felt so good, setting off something inside him and bathing him in warmth.

Kagome continued to rub his ears, looking at the peaceful expression on his face. And he had said he didn’t like it, yeah right! She leaned closer to him and giggled a bit when he began to make a low rumbling noise, almost like a cat purring but deeper and more masculine.

“I didn’t know you could do that.” Kagome said between giggles as she pulled away from his ears.

Inuyasha’s golden eyes slowly blinked open and he focused on Kagome’s laughing face. “Neither did I. Kagome...” He trailed off, placing one arm around her waist and looking at her, letting his eyes reflect his inner sadness and care.

“Inuyasha...?” Kagome said tentatively as she placed a delicate hand on his shoulder. She leaned her head closer to him, mirroring the look in his eyes with one of complete love and devotion.

There she was, the girl of his dreams, giving him a look that said plainly: Inuyasha I love you, and I will do anything to make you happy. He couldn’t think strait. That logical part of his brain that told him their relationship wouldn’t work seemed to be on strike or something. He gently pulled the young girl onto his lap and hugged her tightly.

Kagome gasped as she was pulled into his arms but merely rested her head on his shoulder, curling her hands in his beautiful silvery hair. Inuyasha reached up and stroked her own black hair with his claws, wishing only that this moment could last forever.

“Inuyasha I want you to know. I meant what I said last night.” Kagome buried her head even deeper into his chest so that when she continued the words were slightly muffled, “I – I love you. And I – want to stay with you – forever.”

Inuyasha closed his eyes painfully knowing that he didn’t deserve her love but knowing he felt exactly the same way. “And I meant what I said.” The words stung his mouth as he forced himself to say them, “It wouldn’t work.”

Kagome pulled her head away from his chest and forced herself to look into his eyes, “We could make it work.” With that statement, determination flooding her being, Kagome leaned forward and collided her lips with his in a soft and chaste kiss.

Inuyasha’s eyes widened as she kissed him. Passion seemed to muddy his senses and he softly wrapped his arms around her small body and returned the kiss.

He slowly opened his mouth and licked softly at her bottom lip, his eyes closed in bliss. Kagome gasped allowing him to enter his tongue into her mouth, exploring every inch of it. Waves of white hot fire shot down her body and massed in her lower stomach making her moan into his mouth, silently begging for more. Inuyasha growled lowly, each of her muffled moans increasing his growing desire. He bit and nipped at her lower lip with his fangs as their tongues battled for dominance.

Finally the two broke apart, Kagome’s now swollen lips still parted from the kiss, her body aching with desire. Inuyasha continued to hold her in his arms, his claws tangled his her silky hair.

“Kagome... We can’t...” Inuyasha began to say but Kagome reached up again and placed a finger to his lips.

“Inuyasha you talk too much.” Kagome smiled and continued, “If that was wrong, I don’t want to be right. You make me happy, I would die without you.”

“I don’t want to ruin your life.” He said sadly, his ears drooping from guilt.

“The only way you could do that is by leaving my side.” She argued her aura flaring with determination.

“I’ll never leave you.” Inuyasha said fiercely, responding to her aura his own flared and he leaned in to capture her lips with his own once more.

This time their kiss was even more passionate. Inuyasha wasted no time gaining entrance to her mouth. Kagome melted in his arms as more waves of desire shot through her body. She no longer cared where they were or that she was only in highschool. She wanted him right then.

Inuyasha’s senses were completely clouded with his desire, becoming even grater as he sensed his love’s longing for him. He growled low in his chest once more as Kagome moaned against his lips. He broke the kiss and began to suck at her neck, driven by the passion between them.

Kagome gasped as she felt Inuyasha’s claws against the bare flesh of her back, working in small circles as he nipped at the sensitive skin on her neck and collarbone. She moaned louder and reached up to grab Inuyasha’s ears, rubbing them in the same small circles.

“Inu – yasha...” She moaned softly and he felt his desire grow as she soft his name. “Please...”

Inuyasha paused, bringing his head up to look into her eyes. “Kagome are you sure? I don’t want to hurt you.”

“I love you.” Were the only words she spoke, but it was enough.

Inuyasha picked her up and gently set her down in the soft grass under the shade of the tree before lying down next to her. He leaned in to capture her lips once more whispering “Mine.” as he did so.

“Yours.” She agreed as she slipped her hands under his shirt. Trailing her soft fingertips across his developed muscles, marveling at his thin, toned body structure.

Everything was perfect, nothing could go wrong. When they were together like this nothing else mattered. Maybe they wouldn’t be excepted because of their relationship but they would cross that bridge when they came to it.

AN: Sowwies I know some people thought there was gonna be a lemon this chapter. Nope not yet. Maybe next chapter, I haven't decided whether to keep going on the path they seem to be taking in this chapter (you know having sex (wow do people even say that anymore?)) or have them leave it at cuddling. Give me your opinions. But for clarification THERE WILL BE A LEMON AT SOME POINT. Or else I would have posted this on ff.net.
