“Ow ow ow ow….” Inu yasha winced as Sachi tore through his hair with her brush. Somehow he found it slightly ironic that he could face a demon with out grimacing, but Sachi wielding a hair brush terrified him.

“Hold still ya big baby, shesh, when’s the last time you used conditioner?” Sachi continued to work on his hair. She had already made him scrub with this weird smelly soap and this other stuff that felt like it had dirt in it, she called it an exfoliate. After that she made him wash his hair about a million times and followed it with this creamy stuff she called conditioner.

Inu yasha’s eye twitched as she yanked and pulled.

“Grrr….I’ll be lucky if I have hair left at all after you’re through!”

“Oh hush, I’m just getting all the mats and tangles out. Trust me Kagome is going to love you after I’m done…now hold still.”

After Sachi was done she made Inu yasha take a bathe and soak in this weird bubbly stuff. With his nails scrubbed, hair dried and combed, and teeth brushed and flossed Sachi went to Inu yasha’s room and dug through his stuff looking for an outfit. In the end she ended up picking out this pair of black baggy pants and a green t-shirt with some band name on it, it was snug but the thin material was cool. As Sachi stood back and looked at him she looked impressed.

“Wow, I’m a genus, Inu yasha you look…and smell…great! Just one more thing…” Sachi pulled out a small black can and sprayed Inu yasha with this smelly stuff that was so strong Inu yasha felt like he was going to gag. “Don’t choke its just Axe…and the transformation is complete! Wow Inu yasha those beads look great with that out fit, where’d ya get um?”

Inu yasha fingered the purple beads around his neck. “They were…a gift…from Kagome…sort of.”

“Cool…I can’t wait till Kagome sees you! She’s going to d-…” Sachi stopped as a car horn sounded in the yard. “KIRAN!!!” Sachi took of like she was on fire, leaving Inu yasha standing in the door way.

As much as he hated to admit it he found himself interested in seeing the man that would make Sachi act so weird, and could make Kagome ‘send him signals’.

As he looked down on the drive way he could see a small black car, it was sleeker than Mrs. Higurashi’s car, but it was shiny like Mahiru’s SUV. Out stepped a tall man with long black hair slicked back in a ponytail. His eyes were violet like Mahiru’s. He reminded Inu yasha of a prince from his era. His shoulders were broad and his physique had an undeniably masculine appeal. His build reminded him of that mangy wolf, Koga. Inu yasha cracked his knuckles.

“I could kick his ass…” scowling, he walked downstairs to make sure that this guy didn’t get too close to Kagome.

Kagome could feel Inu yasha’s stare burning into the back of her head as she greeted Kiran.

“Kagome it’s a pleasure.” His smile almost made him irresistible, especially on top of his smooth voice. His skin was no where near as dark as Inu yasha’s, in fact he had a fair complexion in contrast to his dark hair. He wore an un-tucked button up white T-Shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans. “Sachi Kashi, Mahiru” he greeted them all cheerfully. “Oh I almost forgot, this is Sei, my room mate” Kiran motioned toward and tall gangly boy with messy orange hair and green eyes. He smiled brightly and waved shyly.

“It’s nice to meet you guys…” Sei blushed slightly. He was kinda of cute in a childish sort of way. His voice was kind of raspy, like he needed a glass of water. Surprisingly he had not a single freckle, very unusual for a red head.

The girls all smiled and giggled. Kiran didn’t even acknowledge Inu yasha’s existence, it was Sei who first approached him with his hand extended.

“Hi you must be Inu yasha, Mahiru told us all about you on the phone, it must be awesome to be part demon.”

Inu yasha turned and walked back into the house. Kagome sighed as Sei sheepishly withdrew his hand.

“Sorry bout that, Inu yasha isn’t very social…Hi I’m Kagome” she smiled sweetly and shook Sei’s hand as he returned the gesture.

“Well now that all the meet and greet stuff is done, how bout we go inside and get you guys settled in!” Mahiru and the rest of the girls helped the guys with their stuff.

As everyone was busy switching their stuff around Kagome went up to the loft and sat by Inu yasha.

“Inu yasha they were just trying to be friendly…”Kagomes nose twitched.” Are you wearing perfume?”

“It’s called Axe…Sachi put it on me…”

“Did she do this to your hair too?”

Inu yasha nodded. Kagome ran her hand over his head.

“It looks nice…listen I know that you aren’t fond of being here but could you at least pretend to be having fun?”

Inu yasha shrugged.
“Thank you…”

“Meh…” he muttered as Kagome left, he made a silent mental note to keep his hair brushed from now on…

In the end Sachi and Kashi bunked together, Sei and Kiran shared a room as well, leaving Inu yasha Kagome and Mahiru with their own beds. Sei had already agreed to sleep on the couch, so everything worked out well. Around one after everyone had been settled Kashi made some pot stickers and rice for lunch.

Kiran sat next to Kagome while Mahiru sat on his right, Sachi and Sei were on the floor and Kashi was flopped on one of the chairs. Inu yasha picked at his food whole glaring coldly at Karin.

‘Kagome is mine...’
