Definition of Medical Terms:

perineum - Perineum is the area of skin which extends from the anus to the base of the scrotum and was extremely rich in nerve endings. Because it is so rich in nerve endings, it often felt pleasing to have it touched or stroked.

placenta - Function of placenta is to receive nutrients and oxygen from the mother's blood to the fetus and passes out waste. Placenta is implanted in the wall of the uterus, connected to the fetus via the umbilical cord. When the fetus is delivered, the placenta is delivered afterwards.

Chapter 6 - The Birth

Sesshoumaru raced across vast area of lands at demonic speed, ignoring all the youkai charging at them as the barrier repelled their attacks. The numbers of youkai pursuing them had significantly reduced as they were getting nearer to Mount Hakurei.

"Uuughh... the... pain... hurt..." Inuyasha sobbed and was trembling involuntarily in his mate's arms. He clenched onto Sesshomaru's robe so tightly that his claws cut through the fabric, dug into his own palms causing them to bleed.

"I know, my love. We are reaching... hang on!" Sesshoumaru encouraged as he pressed his lips onto his mate's cold forehead. Shifting the hold on his mate, Sesshoumaru had Inuyasha's head resting at the crook of his neck instead of his chest, hoping this could somehow warmed up his chilly mate.

Knowing there was no space inside the vagina unless it was stretched open during sexual intercourse by a penis or during childbirth. Having the pup's shoulder sat in Inuyasha's vagina for a long time could seriously damage the inner muscles. He needed to get the pup out of his mate quickly.

"Love, do you remember the first time I took you?" Sesshoumaru asked suddenly as he tried to get Inuyasha's mind away from the pain his body was undergoing especially when they still had some distance to cover.

That was the day Inuyasha returned Sesshoumaru's arm and left without a word. Sesshoumaru went after his half-brother only to find him unconscious hence brought him back to the castle.

According to the healer, Inuyasha was badly wounded especially the poison in his rectum was slowly inflicting his organs, killing him in a slow agonizing process. Given enough time, the healer might be able to concoct the antidote to counteract the unknown poison but time was something they did not have.

Not all hope was lost. The healer revealed the semen of a daiyoukai had neutralizing elements which could only be found in the royal bloodline. However, this could only be performed during a sexual intercourse.

Sesshomaru was outraged when he was first told of this alternative. Conversely, everything took a sharp turned when a maid misreported that Inuyasha had stopped breathing. Only then did Sesshomaru realize he did not want the hanyou to die. Sesshomaru might mock him, fight him and even injured him but never did he expect Inuyasha's death. That was when he decided to saved his half-brother.

"You... were... rough..." Inuyasha whined as he recalled the incident.

Rough was an understatement, it was a rape. Sesshomaru took him against his will because Inuyasha would rather die than to get intimated with his half-brother. Despite of Inuyasha's frail condition, he managed to put up quite a struggle.

Sesshomaru never intended to use force but Inuyasha left him no other choice. Sesshomaru easily overpowered his half-brother and penetrated him without any preparation. Inuyasha cried out a heartrending scream which until now still echoed within Sesshomaru's ears.

Several sexual intercourses were required to neutralize the poison. However, every time Sesshomaru took him by force, a piece of Inuyasha’s self would die. Despite Sesshomaru's attempted to make Inuyasha enjoyed the session, not once did Inuyasha orgasm. Inuyasha was losing himself as time went by and becoming more and more like a lifeless fuck toy.

"I'm sorry," Sesshomaru apologized, "I didn't know you were a virgin."

All Sesshomaru could think of at that moment was to save Inuyasha from the poison, not once did it crossed his mind that Inuyasha could be a virgin. By the time he realized it, he had already penetrated deeply into Inuyasha's untouched rectum.

Inuyasha's physical might be fatally wounded by Naraku but Sesshomaru was the one who broke Inuyasha mentally. If nursing Inuyasha back to health was a challenge, then getting the old unruly Inuyasha back was a great marvel achievement.

Inuyasha sniveled when another contraction hit him. Inhaled the strong scent of his mate, Inuyasha would like to give in to his animal instinct and bite the creamy smooth neck in front of his eyes, marking Sesshomaru as his mate. As if reading his thoughts, Sesshomaru said, "Bite it."

Sesshomaru and Inuyasha had made love and even had a pup but they had not gone through the proper mating ritual yet. Neither of them wore any mating mark. In the youkai culture, mating mark was not only an evidence of telling others if you were single or mated, but also carried the scent of your mate as well.

Once the marking mark was created, it could not be undone unless the youkai who created the mark died. The mating mark, together with the scent of your mate, would then fade away. In other word, the youkai could mate again once the mating mark was gone.

Since there was no reference of hanyou or any male pregnancy, the healer strongly advised that Inuyasha was not to get hurt during the pregnancy. It did not matter if it was a small cut or a harmless bite. Anything which had the potential to complicate the pregnancy was rule out. Both Sesshomaru and Inuyasha understood the risk involved and had agreed to complete the mating ritual only after the pup was born.

"No," came the instant reply from Inuyasha, "We... do... together..."

"You had lost a lot of blood. Drinking my blood may help you to feel better. You can start the mating ritual now and I will complete it later," Sesshomaru coaxed.

Secretly, Sesshomaru hoped the pure blood of the daiyoukai could help his hanyou mate to warm up his chilly body and speed up his healing process as well. Since both of them were from the same family, their blood should not reject each other nor caused any complication.

Despite countless couplings, not all the poison was neutralized as some of the venom had spread out and affected other organs. There was nothing Sesshomaru nor could the healer do. It would be up to Inuyasha's healing power to fight the rest of the battle. However, before Inuyasha's body could recuperate from the poison, he was pregnant thus putting more strained to his already delicate condition.

"Agaah!!!" Inuyasha shrieked as the burning sensation intensified at his opening when the tear of his vaginal wall extended deeper inside him.

"Remember the time I took you, I said I would take full responsibility whether you like it or not," Sesshomaru stated haughtily.

"Arrogant bastard," Inuyasha scowled.

"Only for you," Sesshomaru smirked as he stoked his mate's mane. Sesshomaru brought Inuyasha's head closer to his neck, "Bite!"

Unable to resist the temptation any longer, Inuyasha sank his fangs into his mate's neck and drank the blood that was oozing out. This was the first time he got to taste Sesshomaru's blood. It was warm and thick, and tasted bittersweet against his tongue.

Without reducing his speed, Sesshoumaru dashed straight into Mount Hakurei's aura at full force. A sudden sharp sting pierced through his entire being and Sesshoumaru fell to one knee, with Inuyasha in his arms.

'What's going on?' Sesshoumaru puzzled and checked on his mate who was still imbibing his blood, completely unaware of what had just occurred. Sesshoumaru picked up Inuyasha and tried his best to ignore the pain.

A simple thing like walking seemed to be a huge challenge and his mate suddenly weight a zillion tons in his arm. Sesshoumaru had to haul his feet with great effort for every step he took as he headed for the nearest cave.

Sesshoumaru found a cave with some straws laid at the corner. Humans used it as a shelter during snowstorms.

'This will do,' Sesshoumaru decided and shoved Toukijin in the ground at the entrance creating a barrier.

Slowly he lowered Inuyasha onto the straws, Sesshoumaru quickly disrobe his mate. What greeted Sesshoumaru was a very bloody and messy sight.

Blood trails were everywhere on Inuyasha's inner thighs, running from his opening to his feet. His penis and scrotum were stained with dry blood flakes. The pup's head and shoulder were covered in crimson fluids and his silver hair was disheveled with more blood clots.

Sesshoumaru propped up Inuyasha's legs and pushed them apart. He could see there was so much bruising and swelling at the cavity, clearly traumatized by the traveling. Inuyasha's perineum was white and rigid and there was no sign of it stretching up.

Perineum was the area of skin which extends from the anus to the base of the scrotum and was extremely rich in nerve endings. Because it was so rich in nerve endings, it often felt pleasing to have it touched or stroked. The perineum prior to birth was thick. During a controlled descent, it would stretch and enlarge until it was almost paper-thin to allow the pup to slip through.

Sesshoumaru needed to locate the other shoulder of the pup but Inuyasha's opening had already been stretched to its limited and it would be extremely difficult to infiltrate. Wetting two fingers with Inuyasha's blood, Sesshoumaru forced his fingers into Inuyasha's strained vagina.

"Ahhhhaaa..." Inuyasha jolted when he felt something thrust into him brusquely, ripping him inside out.

Sesshoumaru was horrified when he felt the other shoulder had protruded into the rectum as it had tore through the thin wall of tissue shared between the rectum and vagina. The tear was so deep that it appeared to extend very close to the cervix.

Instead of pushing, Sesshoumaru wanted Inuyasha to focus on breathing and let the uterus doing the pushing so as not to increase anymore tearing than what was already done. Hopefully, the pup would be able to slide out by himself.

"Love, we need to try other position but don't push."

Sesshomaru tried changing his mate's position several times from standing, hands and knees, semi-upright, kneeling, lying on side but Inuyasha seemed to be in great pain and was not comfortable in any of them.

"Let's try squatting," Sesshomaru suggested as he helped his mate to get in position.

After a few contractions, the pup did not seem to proceed any further. Suddenly, Inuyasha lost his balance and almost crashed his pup by sitting on him if Sesshomaru had not caught him in time.

"No..."

"It's all right... it's all right..." Sesshomaru embraced his weeping mate as he could sense fear, distress and fatigue radiating from Inuyasha.

Inuyasha had a very unyielding perineum. The strength of the perineum was very much bounded up with his health which promoted strong and elastic tissue. Inuyasha was a fighter and was gifted with toned muscles and fitness. As the result, his perineum was so tight and firm that the pup was unable to slip through.

"Love, the wall between your vagina and rectum were torn and the tear had extended very close to the cervix. The pup's shoulder had protruded into the rectum. That was why you were feeling immense pain and losing so much blood."

"Wha... how..." Inuyasha stammered and was lost to what he intended to say as his mind was in a total turmoil.

"You are not wide enough for the pup to come out and your perineum is already stretched to its maximum," Sesshomaru paused as he studied his mate, "I need to place a small cut on your perineum so that the pup can emerge."

"No... no... please..." Inuyasha begged as he started to back away from Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru caught him in an embrace to stop his movement before Inuyasha could cause more damage to his tear, "I wouldn’t do it without your consent."

No human could withstand these amounts of pain and normal youkai would have passed out long ago. Inuyasha might have high tolerance of pain but even that had a limit. Sesshomaru knew that it was by sheer willpower and determination to bring their pup to this world that kept his mate going.

Sesshomaru understood Inuyasha's fear. His mate was extremely sensitive on that spot and it was also his weakest and most tender area. Sesshomaru could easily make his mate climax several times just by rubbing his perineum.

"The wall between your vagina and rectum was torn because the pup is looking for a way out. If we do not give him an opening, no doubt he will force his way through whatever direction he can find."

Frightening his mate was the last thing Sesshomaru ever wanted but he needed Inuyasha to understand the situation he was in and the danger it involved if this was to drag on any longer. The pup would not wait.

"Guaaaaaaah...!" Inuyasha cried out in pain, clenching Sesshomaru's robe into his fists. His heart was pounding wildly as his body broke out into heavy sweat.

Laying Inuyasha back on the straws, Sesshomaru position himself in-between his mate's thighs. The perineum was completely white and translucent now. If this carry on, it was obvious that the perineum might 'explode', leaving thousands of pieces shattered.

"The perineum is completely white and translucent. This may have numbed the perineum so that the pain felt was minimal." Sesshomaru tried to convince his mate as this could wait no longer, "Please, let me do it."

"I'm... scared..." Inuyasha admitted and was sobbing hysterically.

Sesshomaru leaned forward from in-between his mate's thighs, gathered Inuyasha in his arms and gave it a squeeze, "I'm scared too. I'm scared of losing both of you."

Inuyasha was speechless. Sesshomaru had never openly admitted that he was afraid. In fact, Inuyasha thought there was nothing in this world that could frighten Sesshomaru. Ironically, his mate's frankness told Inuyasha how grave the situation had become.

"Just... do it..."

Without been told twice, Sesshomaru kissed his mate's lightly and proceed back to his position. Sesshomaru pressed two fingers into his mate's birth canal and did a little perineum massage. Extending his claws in his other hand, Sesshomaru sliced a small cut into the tender flesh.

"AHHHHHHHHAAAAAAA!!!"

Inuyasha was screaming at the top of his voice. Excruciating pain exploded up out of his groin. Squeezing his eyes tightly as tears streamed from their edges. Twisting his ass seeking some or any sort of relief but none was forthcoming. He began to push like mad, desperately wanting to get the pup out.

"Don't push!" Sesshomaru shouted as he could see the small cut was tearing up. Pressing his hand on Inuyasha's perineum, Sesshomaru tried to stop the tearing from traveling toward the scrotum as crimson fluids were gushing out abundantly from the open wound.

"Grrraaaaah... Ahhhhaa..." Screaming himself hoarse in horrendous pain, Inuyasha could acutely felt the ripping of his sensitive perineum. Contraction came and magnified the pain, stabbing into Inuyasha's intestines and organs like a piece of glass slicing through his insides. His groin was on fire and the pain intensified with each second.

Despite Sesshomaru's best verbal efforts, Inuyasha did not register a single word he said and continued pushing uncontrollably. Sesshomaru could not control the speed of the tearing as it continued to travel upward.

"UAAGGGGGHHHH...!!"

Inuyasha felt the big stretch and awful burning sensation when the huge part of the pup was coming through. Gritted his teeth, Inuyasha pushed harder and Sesshomaru could feel the perineum tear like paper under his hand when the pup's shoulder and entire body shot out hotly into his arms followed by flood of birth fluids gushing out.

Then, everything was quiet.

No more screaming.

No crying.

Sesshomaru immediately checked on his mate who had lost conscious but still breathing, very shallow breathing. His newborn son laid in-between his mate's thighs, not moving. A quick check told Sesshomaru his pup was not breathing either.

Instinctively, he bit off the cord, dried the pup with his haori and wrapped him in his fur. Put a finger inside the pup's mouth, he dug out some mucus that were blocking the air pipe. Immediately, the newborn was taking his first breath and wailing loudly.

A rare smile crept to Sesshomaru's face as he held his first born, his son and also his heir into his arms. He looked so small and fragile against his broad chest. Sesshomaru did something he never thought he would ever do in his life, he cooed at his newborn.

'What am I doing?' Sesshomaru scolded himself as he slowly placed his son on his mate's chest. The newborn fell asleep almost immediately, looked like Inuyasha was not the only one who was exhausted.

Turning his attention to his beloved, Sesshomaru saw that Inuyasha's body was bathed in sweat. Despite being unconscious, Inuyasha's face was still twisted in grimace of pain. After drying his mate, he took off his inner white robe and covered both of them to prevent any heat loss.

The tear had extended all the way from Inuyasha's arsehole to the base of the scrotum. The perineum and anal sphincter had torn through completely. Sesshomaru could clearly see the raw flesh deep inside his mate as Inuyasha continued to bleed profusely.

A severe tear like this could result in serious consequences such as fecal incontinence or occasional leakage from bowel movement. Inappropriate treatment could cause permanent damage or left massive amount of scar tissue. Sesshomaru wanted neither of it to occur to his mate, especially when he was able to do something to prevent it from happening.

After a careful examination to ensure there was no other tearing, Sesshomaru brought together and align the torn edges of the tissue between the vagina and rectum. Sesshomaru's nose was buried inside Inuyasha's vagina when he pressed his face into his mate's opening as he began to lick the split.

Blood and amniotic fluids continued to ooze out as Sesshomaru gulped a few mouthfuls of it. Seeing the bleeding had not decreased, Sesshomaru began to massage Inuyasha's uterus through his abdomen to help the uterus to contract.

When the split started to heal, Sesshomaru proceed to lick Inuyasha's perineum. It was a nasty tear. Despite Inuyasha's hanyou healing power, it might still require a few days to stop hurting.

Suddenly, his son was crying. Looking at Inuyasha's perineum, the bleeding had slowed down but would still continue to bleed for a few more days before it came to a stop. There was a long and swollen trail running from the arsehole to the scrotum but it would heal, hopefully without any scarring.

Satisfied with the outcome, Sesshomaru held his son who was demanding some attention. Caressing his newborn's cheeks with a finger, Sesshomaru asked, "What do you want?"

His son's eyes widened and glanced up, his cries stopping instantly. A tiny hand reached up and gripped the large youkai's finger. Sesshoumaru stilled his hand instantly. The tiny hand then pulled the finger into his mouth and sucked.

"So, you are hungry?" Sesshomaru chuckled as he slowly removed his finger from the tiny wet mouth, "Wait a minute."

It took a little maneuvering but Sesshomaru managed to get Inuyasha into a semi-sitting position and slid behind him with his legs on either side of his mate. He then held the newborn to his mate's breast where Inuyasha's nipples had swollen considerably. As if sensing food, his son latched on it fiercely and began to suckle.

The pup's hair was fuzzed all over his head and opened his eyes at odd moments. Sesshomaru found himself staring at his own golden orbs. While he had his mate's ruffled hair and fair complexion, Sesshomaru knew the pup would grow to look like him.

Soon his sucking slowed until he finally let go of the nipple and yawned. Sesshomaru watched as his son fell asleep and smiled tenderly. His only regret was that his mate was unable to hold their son at this moment when he was having his first meal.

After placing his son back on Inuyasha's abdomen, Sesshomaru studied his mate's sleeping form. It was a habit that he would never get tired of. Laid down beside his mate, Sesshomaru soon dozed off with his family in his arms.

In the midst of all excitement and happiness, Sesshomaru failed to notice that the placenta yet to emerged from Inuyasha's body.
