At Genkai´s


As they arrived at the temple Genkai, Kurama and Yukina were already waiting for them. “Welcome to my temple young miko, I´m Genkai”. Kagome bowed to her “Thank you Genkai-sama, my name is Kagome Higurashi.” She looked up at her “I hope you can help me with the training.” “We will see, but not today, we´ll start early in the morning. Yukina will show you around and then you are free to do as you wish”. Kagome bowed again and Genkai chuckled “The dimwit could learn a thing or two from you about the proper way to treat your elders”. Kagome grinned “I´m not always this polite, in fact, there are few people I treat with respect” Genkai laughed and went into on of the buildings. Yukina smiled at Kagome “Come with me Kagome, I´ll take you to your room where you can put your bags.”

Yukina showed Kagome the various buildings and now they stood in the dojo. “This place is great, the only thing I will miss is the Goshinboku.” Yukina smiled at her. “It´s the holy tree at your shrine right?” “Yeah, so I assume Kurama has told you about me?” Yukina noded. “All right Yukina, do you have any plans for today? If not I wanted to go shopping. I need some clothes and some fighting kimonos. Would you help me?” Yukina hesitantly answered “I´m not often in the city, many humans give me strange looks and it makes me uncomfortable.” Kagome laughed “Let me guess, most of them are men?” Yukina blushed. “No, I think women are looking too”. “They are just jelous because you are so pretty” Kagome laughed again as Yukinas blush got deeper. As she wanted to drag Yukina with her Kurama walked in the dojo. “If you let me I´d love to join you.” He gave her a smile that would have melted any girl on the spot. Kagome just lifted of an eyebrow, the perfect imitation of the taiyoukai “Why Kurama, I didn´t know that you also needed some women underwear.” Yukina giggled. Before Kurama could say something she continued “I have a request, I´d like to see Youko. Would you let him to out?”She asked him sweetly. Yes, this was the moment he waited for. He wanted the girl and no one could resist him if he played his cards well. Kagome looked in awe as the silver haired and gold eyed kitsune appeared. “Very handsome” she said and reached for his ears. She stroked them softly “ears were always my weakness” Youko purred from her caress and thought he had won her already but then she turned and walked to the entrance and said “but you still hold no candle to Sesshoumaru. Are you coming Yukina?” With that she was gone. Yukina giggled and follewed her.

Youko could hear Hiei chuckling. ‘Problems fox?’ ‘I don´t know what you´re talking about. I don´t hava a problem, just a new challenge. She will be mine’. The fox sounded determined. ‘Hn, so she is your new obsession?’ ‘Why, are you jelous?’Hiei snorted ‘Don´t be ridiculous, I have better things to do as to think about a human female’ ‘Yeah, you prefer to stalk her’ Youko was slightly angry from the blow to his ego. Kurama interfered ‘Youko, that´s enough, don´t blame him if you can´t always have what you want.’ ‘What I want? You mean what we want. As if I don´t know that you want her too. She is a real beauty and I like it when our women are feasty’ Kurama just sighed. In this state Youko never listened to anyone.
Hiei left without a word, he had to follow her and now he has to protect his sister as well. The girls were talking as they walked side by side. Yukina was still laughing “The look on Youkos face! That was so funny!” Kagome just smirked, she had known that the fox had a high opinion of himself. “So Kagome, is this Sesshoumaru the same Lord of the western lands in Makai”? asked Yukina. “Yeah that´s him. And if the Kekkai Barrier wouldn´t exist I would be now his mate. You see, we were a pair back in the sengoku jidai but we never mated. We wanted to wait until the jewel was completed. I was afraid that I would be send back to my time and I didn´t want him to bind to me when there was big chance that he have to wait 500 years to see his mate again. It just wouldn´t be fair. To force a Demon to a 500-year-celibacy would be inhuman especially someone like Sesshoumaru.” Yukina was again blushing “You don´t regret your decision?” she asked her tentatively. “No, I still love him and always will but if our love were meant to be, I would be a happy woman now. I think you will never forget someone if you really loved them. Inuyasha was my first love and he will also be in my heart like Sesshoumaru.”.

Kagome laughed “Poor Youko, I was mean to him but I couldn´t help myself. As I saw the silver hair and the golden eyes I wanted to run away. Both Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru had also the same hair and eye colour and look where I am standing now. Inuyasha was very handsome but Sesshoumaru is the most beautiful creature I´ve ever seen. And Youko is very handsome too. But there is no way that I will ever let him into my panties!” Yukina turned to the colour of a ripe tomato and Kagome burst out laughin “I´m sorry Yukina for my mouth but I have spent four years at Inuyashas side, it´s all his fault that I´ve lost almost all the manners I´ve once had”.

Hiei was still following the girls from treetop to treetop as he listened to Kagome. So, Kagome didn´t want a relationship with the fox. He chuckled. Maybe he should tell him but it would be more entertaining if he just waited and watched what the fox had planned to seduce the girl.
