Sorry I haven't written in a while, been extremely busy, and tired lately. Thank you for all the reviews everyone, I appreciate them all!

Kagome sat in her bed, holding onto her knees while her chin rested on them gently, "Do.. I have to eat it?" she asked as she glanced up to her mother and InuYasha who stood by her bed. "Yes Kagome, its good for you." her mother said as she put the tray down on her bed, steamy liver sat there, with a small glass of orange juice. "But.." InuYasha gave her a look, "No 'buts' Kagome, you're going to eat that whether you do it by yourself or we have to feed it to you." Kagome sighed and reached for the tray, lifting it up as she slid her legs underneath, "Alright, alright, I'll eat it.." she looked at them with a small smile and then started to choke down the liver. "Kagome dear,.." Mrs. Higurashi said as she eyed InuYasha as he walked out of the room, muttering. "I've made an appointment at the doctors office for you. I'm not sure how good InuYasha says his senses are, but I want to be 100% sure you are, or aren't pregnant.."Kagome just stared at her mother, "Mom.." she put the juice on the nightstand by her bed, "I.. I don't want to go there, I feel dirty enough, but to have them check me? I will feel exposed and.." she felt her mothers hand on her shoulder and she looked up, "Everything will be fine, I made sure it would be a woman, and not a man." Kagome smiled weakly, and looked away, 'I still don't want to go, not without InuYasha..' she thought then nodded, "I guess I have no choice then." Mrs. Higurashi nodded and turned around, "Now eat up, and get dressed we will be going in a hour." Kagome quickly choked down the disgusting liver and washed the taste out of her mouth with the little juice left.

"InuYasha, you can go home if you want, Kagome and I will be leaving for the doctors office soon." InuYasha looked at her and glared, "What? So now Im just supposed to go back to my own time and wait? I don't think so, I'm staying here, and be waiting for Kagome to come home." Mrs. Higurashi sighed slightly and put one hand on the table, leaning against it, "InuYasha, this is my daughter, you have no right to know her personal things. If she happens to be pregnant we will most likely made an aborstion." InuYasha just stared blanky. "...." she sighed again, "To kill the baby before it's born, so that she can try to catch up in school and get an education." InuYasha glared, "You will not kill the baby." he said in a lower voice, "That baby will live, whether you like it or not, and if I have to stop you, I sure as hell will.." Mrs. Higurashi looked at him, somewhat shocked, "You have no say in this InuYasha, I know you love my daughter, but she is my responsibility as a parent, I will be the one making the choices here." InuYasha crossed his arms and let out a aggrovated sigh, "And what if she disagrees? What if she wants to have the baby?" Mrs. Higurashi stood up straight and leaned onto one foot, "Then I will be there to raise this baby with her, she isn't old enough to have one, she is still young, this could ruin her future.." InuYasha shook his head and turned around, "In my time, women have chilren much younger. With or without consent." he glanced back at her, "And I'm going to be the one raising this child with her, got it?" he said in a hoarse voice, "It may not be my child, but if it's part of Kagome, it's part of me, alright!?" he said as he turned and faced her, his hands clenched.

Mrs. Higurashi took a step back, stunned, "Bu.. but InuYasha,.." she shook her head and smoothed her skirt with her hands, "You don't belong here, this is our time, you are dead in this time.." she said as she put her hands on her hips, "You don't exsist here, now go home and stay there, we don't want you to come back, you've caused enough damage by coming here the first time.." she said with some sadness. It was true, she liked the boy, he was kind.. sometimes and it was obvious he loved and cared for her daughter, but ever since they have grown attracted to each other, it has ruined Kagome's life... or so she thought. "InuYasha, just go home! You can come back someday, but please stay out of this, it's family only." with that InuYasha flattened his ears on his head and looked away, "I suppose..." he muttered.

"Mom?" Kagome walked down the stairs in a light blue sweatshirt and a black skirt. "What are you two arguing about?" she asked as he put the tray on the counter, looked from one to another, "It's nothing honey, lets get going." Kagome stared then nodded slightly before feeling a hand on her shoulder, "InuYasha.." she muttered and turned around. "Are you going back..?" she asked as she put her hand over his that rested on her shoulder, "I guess I have to." he said as he glanced to her mother, "You just focus on staying healthy, I'll be back someday." Kagome didn't understand his words but he pulled her into a quick light hug. She held onto him tightly and burried her face into his neck, she loved the way he smelled.. kinda like spice.. but then a nice sweet scent mixed in, it made her insane. Kagome's thoughts her interrupted when InuYasha pushed her away light and her mother taking her hand, "Will you be here when we get back?" she asked as she was pulled out the door, only seeing InuYasha shake his head and looked the ground. Her eyes welled up with tears, "InuYasha!" she turned and looked at her mother, as they walked down the large staircase, quickly reaching the bottom "Kagome, please get in the car, InuYasha will be back.." Kagome wiped her eyes and got in the car, "But when.. when will he be back.." her mother stayed silent, and they began to drive to the doctors office.

InuYasha sighed heavily, "I don't think I can stay away from her that long." he muttered as he walked up the stairs and into her room, "But..." he went to her desk and saw the small jar with the jewel shards in it, "I have to." he picked them up and went to the window, opening it quickly and leaping out, "Kagome will be fine without me, for a while.." he landed on the ground and quickly went to the shrine, "But if it's my child. I am coming back no matter what they say. I just can't have Kagome's life be in danger if shes pregnant..." he looked at the shards, went into the shrine and jumped down the well.

Kagome walked out of the room and wiped her eyes looking for her mother, quickly spotting her and they both walked out of the office, "What did they say Kagome..?" she just shook her head and got in the car, "They did an examination, right?" she nodded. "What did they find? Kagome, please speak to me.." Kagome looked over at her mother and wiped the tears that freely flowed down her face, "I don't want to have a baby, not without InuYasha.." she sobbed into her hands, guilt punched Mrs.Higurashi in the heart and she bit her lip, "Kagome, InuYasha will be back.." she lifted her head and looked to her mother, "No, no he won't! You told him to never come back, and now he's gone, gone forever!" she put her head back into her hands and sobbed more. "I want to go home.."


They drove in silence, neither of them spoke, Mrs. Higurashi still felt guilty, and Kagome still felt pain in her heart. They pulled over by the sidewalk, near the stairs to their house and Kagome quickly got out, running up the long flight of stairs, "I have to see him.." she huffed as she reached the house, sliding the door open and sprinting to her room, "InuYasha??" she looked around the dark room and she turned on the light, looking around, then noticed her shards were gone, off the table, "No!" she went back downstairs, only to bump into Souta, "Oh, Heya sis, what's up?" he asked but was ignored and shoved to the side, "Whoa, whats her problem? Kagome, whats wrong?" he asked as he followed her.

Kagome jumped down the small ledge to the well and leaned over looking down, "No.. he's gone.." she fell to her knees and covered his face, "He took the shards and now I can never see him again.." she looked down to her stomach and put her hand over it, 'Please... be InuYasha's..' she thought and her eyes burned with more tears. "Kagome, what's the matter? Are you crying? Why are you crying???" he asked as he went to her side, "InuYasha is gone, he's never coming back, ever!" she muffed into her hands, "What!?" he took a step back, "My hero is never coming back? Ever? Wh.. what if a demon attacks us here, like.. that mask. you know, what if somethng like that happens again!?" Kagome stayed silent and all was heard were her quiet sobs...
