It all started with a Nameless Beauty

When Kagome woke up, she noticed a set of keys in her futon. Apparently, Youko was too preoccupied, to realize he had dropped something. Kagome quickly changed back to her regular clothes, and tried out many different keys before getting the correct one in the slot. She used her senses to look out for any sign of danger. The youkais weren’t very close by to her room, so she made a run for it. She didn’t want to revisit what happened last night. With a tinge of fear flowing through her veins, Kagome didn’t have her alerts on high gear. She found the exit after many twists and turns down many corridors, but as soon as she stepped out, she was outnumbered. There were about 10 to 20 youkai outside loafing around; that is, until she came along.
Back to the Story:
~~~Chapter 6~~~
The youkais stood on guard. They turned toward their common enemy and formed a semi circle giving her a choice of fighting them all or to retreat back into the cave. Knowing Kagome, she stood her ground and took the defensive position. The surrounding youkai all looked at her and chuckled, “Aw, look. Little miss inu wants to fight,” a youkai said with several chuckles following after him.
“What? Scared? Pft! Figures.” Kagome said in response.
The same youkai came charging towards with a fist drawn, “You dare mock me?!” Kagome sidestepped and grabbed his wrist and using his own force, she twisted his wrist and flipped him onto his back. Seeing this, the other youkai didn’t hold back.
They came charging at her one after another, some with weapons, others only using their fists and feet. Getting tired of the bruises on her arms from blocking the blows, she finally realized what she carried with her.
Kagome remembered her bag around her shoulder and dug deep inside with one hand, and pulled out several ***kunai*** that she used in her martial art classes. She expertly flicked her wrist and released them, one for one youkai. She shot down several of them. None of them were dead, but most of them were severely injured or knocked out.
***~~~Kunai- weapons that resemble small daggers. (Examples: what Naruto uses, or what Misao uses in Rurouni Kenshin) ~~~***~~~ SORRY for the intrusion!!!~~~
Running out of kunai, she used her own limbs to fight the remaining 5 or 6. These youkai weren’t as strong as Youko himself, they seemed to be largely different in strength. Kagome didn’t have to use her Miko power once. Within half an hour most of the demons were put down. Weaker ones just stayed put or hid from her. ‘Hmph. Shows THEM who’s boss’
Kagome stealthily went around to all of the youkai checking up on the ones who were severely injured, making sure they weren’t going to die, and gathering up all the kunai she had thrown earlier. Kagome helped the ones who were hurt badly and apologized to them all for causing trouble, ‘but they DID deserve it’.
After tending to their wounds, she left as quickly as possible towards the woods, trying to avoid encountering Youko ever again.
