Day3 Sess

Benten looked at Aizen-Myoo and Gekka-O "We must find a way to keep Sesshoumaru from Kagome till the blue moon. Any suggestions?"

Gekka-O walked over to a tree and leaned against it. "What would happen if we put a barrier around his lands that would allow everyone but him to leave it for now?"

"That would indeed work but we would have to make it so Kagome could not enter his lands in that time either. And I find it fitting considering that he hurt Kagome." Aizen-Myoo turned to his accomplices "But that would only serve to help us in keeping him away from her. I think our true goal should be on how to get him to stop hurting her. True love is not suppose to cause you pain, it is suppose to bring you joy, pleasure, hope, and faith in your partner. Not to make your partner want to kill you. We must find a way to make Sesshoumaru fall in love with Kagome before the blue moon. We can't have him trying to kill her every time they get close."

The three paced around the forest "We could give him a potion to drink." Benten said "Or we could interfere with his dreams but since he hardly
ever sleeps that might be a problem. I think the potion might be the best idea. But what kind of potion. Most of mine involves loving the first one that they see and since they can't see each other till the blue moon mine won't work."

"I have a potion but once he drinks it he must say the name of the lady he is to love then it takes effect." Aizen-Myoo turned to see his companions stop their pacing and glance toward him. "What!"

"How can we get him to say her name?" Benten asked

"What was the name of the human child that he took in?" Aizen-Myoo ran his hands through his hair. Never have I had so much difficulty making two people fall in love.

"Rin was her name wasn't it?" Gekka-O turned to Aizen-Myoo and Benten "If we ask Kishi-Bojin she might help convince the child to assist us in our endeavours." Gekka-O walked to a clear area of the forest and soon disappeared in a blaze of bright light.

Benten and Aizen-Myoo waited for a few minutes then watched as Gekka-O and Kishi-Bojin appeared before them.

"You all need my help?" Kishi-Bojin looked at the two gods and goddess in front of her.

"We need your help to convince Sesshoumaru's ward to get him to say Kagome's name after he drinks my potion. Since you are so good with children we decided that you would be our best bet to get her to agree." Aizen-Myoo faced Kishi-Bojin "Will you assist us in this?"

"You know that all gods and goddesses have orders to assist you three anyway necessary to accomplish your task." Kishi-Bojin walked away from the trio and turned to face them. "I will talk with her as soon as I can. Will that do? I will need to know when she is suppose to say the name so that I might inform her."

"We can do it this morning while he is taking breakfast with the child. Will that give you enough time to talk with the girl?" Aizen-Myoo watched as Kishi-Bojin nodded and disappeared.

"Benten and Gekka-O you two concentrate on the barrier I will get him to drink the potion." He watched as they too disappeared then he turned and left also.

Kishi-Bojin appeared in Rin's bedroom and walked silently to the bed. She watched the little girl sleep. I am glad that she feels so safe here. This poor child has suffered much for one so young. I am thankful for her protector for watching over her. She leaned over and lightly stroked Rin's hair. "Rin you must awaken I need to talk to you." She watched as Rin turned over and slowly opened her eyes. She laid a finger against her lips letting Rin know that she must be quiet.

Rin sat up on her bed and rubbed her eyes "Pretty lady came to see Rin again?"

Kishi-Bojin sat on the bed beside Rin and whispered "Rin I need to know what you think of Lord Sesshoumaru."

Rin looked at the lady for a few minutes "Lord Sesshoumaru is great he makes sure that Rin has clothes and eats and he never hits Rin although sometimes he makes yucky Jaken watch over Rin. This Rin doesn't like it when he does that but Rin understands that Lord Sesshoumaru is very busy and has to take care of stuff."

"What would you think about Lord Sesshoumaru taking a mate and her becoming your mother?" Kishi-Bojin pulled Rin against her side and
stroked her hair.

"What is a mate?" Rin looked up into the pretty ladies eyes.

"Well it would be like he got married." She leaned down and whispered into Rin's ear "Do you know what being married means?"

"Yes Rin knows married." Rin looked down at her hands in her lap and considered the lady's question. "I don't think that I would like for Lord Sesshoumaru to marry any of the ladies around here. They are mean to Rin."

Kishi-Bojin took Rin's hand into hers "Who would you like Lord Sesshoumaru to marry if you could choose?"

"Oh that is easy. Kagome! But she travels with Lord Sesshoumaru's mean brother. Rin has met her a couple of times and she is so nice. But Lord Sesshoumaru doesn't know that Rin has met her. Rin runs into her when Jaken watches Rin and Rin runs from him. She always made sure that Rin got food and returned to Jaken without him knowing she was there. Rin thinks Kagome is very brave." Rin turned around on the bed to face the pretty lady. "Can Kagome be my new okaa-san pretty lady?"

"I will need your help with it but a couple of my friends would like for that to happen. Do you think that you can help us?" Kishi-Bojin looked down into Rins eyes and waited for her answer.

"What can Rin do to help you pretty lady." Rin moved her feet under her to get more comfortable.

Kishi-Bojin watched the child move around the bed. "You must get Lord Sesshoumaru say Kagomes name but remember these two names Sango and Kikyou he must not say those names. Do you understand? And do you think you can do this?"

"Rin can do this. Do not let him say Kikyou and Sango is that all Rin has to do?"

"Yes child it is." Kishi-Bojin stood up and leaned across the bed and hugged Rin "Thank you Rin for your help and if everything goes as planned you will have Kagome as a okaa-san. Now remember you must do this at breakfast this morning and I will be by your side should you need me. You will not be able to see me but I will be there." She turned from Rin and slowly disappeared.

Rin jumped off her bed and ran to the space where the pretty lady disappeared. She ran her hand threw the air there was nothing there. She looked out her window and saw the sun making its entrance over the mountains then she ran to her closet and grabbed a kimono and hurriedly put it on. If Rin doesn't hurry she will miss Lord Sesshoumaru because he always eats early before anyone else gets up. She got dressed and ran from her room to the dining room.

Rin entered the dining room to find Lord Sesshoumaru seated at the table and slid to a stop.

Sesshoumaru glanced up from his plate to watch Rin run into the room. "Rin what have I told you about running in the castle?"

"Rin is not to run in the castle because Rin could fall and get hurt or Rin might hurt someone else." with that said Rin walked toward the table and set down beside Sesshoumaru "Rin is sorry for running Sesshoumaru-sama but Rin wanted to make sure that Rin had breakfast with you."

Sesshoumaru looked at the child and picked up his tea and took a sip. "What was so important that you got up so early Rin?"

Rin took a deep breath and looked at Lord Sesshoumaru "Lord Sesshoumaru Rin had a dream about Kagome and came to ask if you would go and see her and make sure she is fine."

"Kagome who is Kagome?" Why does that name sound familiar? Sesshoumaru watched as Rin squirmed in her chair.

"Kagome is the miko that travels with your brother Sesshoumaru-sama" Rin picked up her chopsticks and stuffed some rice in her mouth while she waited for Sesshoumaru to answer her.

"How do you know Kagome Rin?" Sesshoumaru waited for her to chew her food.

"Well" Rin lowered her eyes and folded her hands in her lap twisting them together. "Rin met Kagome a couple of times in the woods when you would leave Rin with Jaken and Rin would runaway from Jaken when he tried to hit Rin. Kagome was nice and she would feed Rin and return Rin to Jaken without Jaken knowing that Kagome was there. She would also play with Rin sometimes too if your mean brother didn't yell for her before she had a chance."

Sesshoumaru looked at Rin and Rin jumped when he yelled for Jaken "Jaken!"

Both eyes turned toward the door to the kitchen and watched the imp run into the room and bowed beside Sesshoumaru "Yes Lord Sesshoumaru how may I assist you?"

He grabbed Jaken up off the floor by his throat and brought him eye level with himself. "I would like for you tell this Sesshoumaru why Rin knows of my brothers miko. It seems that she met her when in your care and you did not inform this Sesshoumaru of their meetings." Sesshoumaru threw Jaken into a wall hard enough to leave a small hole before he dropped back to the floor.

"Lord Sesshoumaru I didn't know if I had this lowly servant would have told you." Jaken bowed down beside Sesshoumaru.

Sesshoumaru grabbed Jaken by the throat again and walked to the door and opened it and tossed Jaken as hard as he could and watched as the imp flew over the trees and deep into the forest. He turned around and sat back down at the table and turned to Rin who was doing her best to smother laughter over Jaken's' misfortune.

"Jaken can scream really loud Sesshoumaru-sama when you throw him like that." Rin giggled some more and smiled at Sesshoumaru "So Sesshoumaru-sama will you check on Kagome for Rin please.?"

When Sesshoumaru nodded yes Rin jumped up and hugged him. She is making me soft. I must be going crazy to agree to go see my brothers miko. Oh well I told Rin I would so I must go. "While I am gone you must study and listen to Jaken and no running away from him. Do you understand Rin?"

Rin nodded her head "Yes Sesshoumaru-sama Rin will study hard and Rin promises not to run away from Jaken." Rin turned and ran down the
hall to her room.

Sesshoumaru looked down at the table and picked up his cup of tea and downed the rest of it. The things I do for that child. He set his cup down and rose from the table and walked to his room. He put his armour on and stepped out on his balcony he saw Jaken making his way out of the forest and almost laughed himself at him. He had leaves and sticks attached to his clothes and he was mumbling under his breath. He waited until Jaken was almost to his balcony before he stopped him. "Jaken you will watch Rin I have something to do and will return later"

Jaken stared up at his master "Yes Lord Sesshoumaru" He bowed and watched his master fly through the air on his cloud. That girl is going to be my death of me one of these days. Why Lord Sesshoumaru took her in is way beyond me she is nothing but trouble. He waited till he could not see him anymore then went into the castle.

Sesshoumaru flew toward his southern boundary where he last saw his half brother and his companions. Why he had told Rin that he would check on his brothers miko he had no idea. It wasn't enough that his youki had kept him up most of the night talking about her then he had to fall asleep and then dream about the miko now Rin sends him out to check on her. Now he would no doubt have to deal with his stupid half brother just to check on her. I don't know why everyone seems to like her she is mostly useless from what I have seen. I mean she can barely take care of herself let alone anyone else.

"Yeah right. She took you on a few times and made it so your brother won a couple of battles with you."

"It was not her fault that I lost those battles and you know it."

"Right you keep believing that. But I seem to recall it was her that pulled our fathers sword out and gave it to Inuyasha which by the way resulted in you loosing your arm. Then there was the time that she shot the sword with an arrow and rendered it useless in your hands again making it so that Inuyasha gained the upper hand and defeated you."

"Ok enough already you have made your point now shut up."

"You never let me out long enough. You really should have let me out longer yesterday you know. If you had you may not have been sent on this task."

"How do you figure that?"

"Because if you had let me claim her like I wished she would be at our castle in our bed and you could be having a little fun for once instead of chasing after her again."

"I do not chase after her."

"Yes you do. Most of your confrontations with your brother are because of your curiosity with the miko. If you wasn't so curious about her then
you would not challenge our brother for that stupid sword so often. It's not like you could even use it anyway."

"Now I know why I never let you out. You really are a pain in my ass."

"You couldn't live without me and you know it. Besides you keep me locked up more often than not and just remember there will come a day when I get loose and you will not have any control over me till I get what I want."

"I am not some weak ningen that is uncapable of controlling himself you will not break free unless I allow you too."

"You will grow weak and then I will escape and then you will abide by my rules until you can control me again. Of course I might be able to be convinced to take it easy if you let me have what I want."

"And what do you want?" As if I don't know already

"The miko for our mate"

"Out of the question. She is just a ningen and this Sesshoumaru will not take a ningen as a mate."

"She is more than a ningen and you know it. We both smelled her yesterday and I for one smelled more demon than ningen."

"That may be true but that only makes her a hanyou and that is as bad as a ningen. To bad she is not a youki then I might consider it."

"See you do like her or you would not want her to be a youki. Can we at least bring her to the castle today?"

"And why would we do that?"

"So I can have some fun with her and you can get to know her."

"Why would I want to get to know her?"

"One should really get to know the lady that is going to be our mate. I already know what I need but you need convincing."

"What could you possibly know you just met her yesterday?"

"I know that she is our soul mate I found that out when I tasted her blood. Her blood taste like nothing I ever tasted before. It was quite powerful."

"I can do with out a soul mate especially one that may be a ningen or even a hanyou."

"Keep repeating that I know what you feel and you may fool everyone else but not me."

"I have had enough of you for now leave me in peace." who does he think he is trying to say that I love that miko. So what if I think she is quite attractive for a ningen and brave to take me on and loyal to her friends and my stupid half brother and I find her interesting. Her clothes makes her stand out in any crowd. I have never seen anyone else dress in such short kimonos but then if she wore regular kimonos I would never get to see her beautiful long legs.

"SEE I KNEW YOU LIKED HER"

"I thought I told you to go away"

"Fine I am leaving then just remember I want that miko even if you don't and you won't stop me from getting her for us."

Sesshoumaru shook his head and brought his arm up and rubbed his temple. Now was not the time for a headache. He approached his boundary and stopped and searched for any scent of the miko. He could barely make out her scent coming from the southeast and headed in that direction as fast as he could. When he reached his boundary he was flung backward and knocked off his cloud. He fell to the ground and took out a few trees before he came to a stop unconscious.
