Naraku's Devious Plan

"I shall do my best" Miroku says "And don't worry about that assassin, there's no way he can get to Inuyasha and Kagome, as I said they're the only two that can cross through the well"

"We don't know that Miroku" Kaede says

"Well, we've all tried to cross over ourselves, but none of us can" Miroku says

"Yes, but another half-demon has never tried to cross" Kaede says

"Are you saying that maybe the well let's half-demons cross freely?" Sango asks

"I suppose it's possible, but I doubt it" Kaede says

"It's probably one of those Kagome, Inuyasha things," Shippo says

"I hope so," Kaede says

Chapter 6: The Half-Demon Assassin, in Modern Times

The assassin arrives on Kagome's side of the well with no problem. "Well, I should be careful, I don't want to stick out in this time." He vanishes and appears on top of a high-rise. "Interesting, nobody has a weapon here. I must find a way to hide mine, then find some clothing to fit in." He hides his weaponry and then hides in a dark alley to hear a couple people talking, he learns quickly that in this day and age you need money to get stuff.

"Hey, buddy this alley is ours" a deep male voice says from the shadows

"Oh, I was just leaving, but before I do, can you tell me where one could trade gold coins for the current money system?" the assassin asks

"I could tell you, but it wouldn't be any good to you"

"And, why's that?"

"Cause soon, we're going to take all your gold coins and everything else you have too"

"Ah, I see. The perhaps you can tell me where this place is, for future reference?"

"Yeah, sure it's that coin shop across the street, also there's a pawn shop about a block away"

"Very well, now I believe you said you were going to take my gold?" "

Yeah" the thug steps out of the shadows holding a lead pipe

"What a shame, to end a human life this way, oh well" the assassin says before vanishing and appearing behind the thug and the grabbing him and breaking his neck. "I suggest that those of you who are hiding, and waiting to assist flee, or I will kill you too." With that the rest of the thug's gang ran off in a hurry.

"Let's get out of here!" one of them yells

"Humans" the assassin mumbles as he walks across the street to the coin shop and enters.

"We're closing" the owner says

"I understand that you buy old coins here" the assassin says

"I do, but no more tonight"

"Maybe you should reconsider" the assassin says as he reaches into his robe and pulls out a single coin and places it on the counter. The owner picks up the coin and looks at it.

"Is this real?"

"Yes"

"This must be worth at least 1 million American dollars"

"I'm in great need for money, and I'm looking to sell this coin, will you help me?"

"I think I can find a buyer, but it'll take me a week or so"

"That's fine, but could you loan me some money until it is sold?"

"Sure, but what's in it for me?"

"Half of what you sell the coin for, plus what you lend me"

"Deal, here's about 5 thousand Wong, that should buy what you need"

"Thanks" the assassin takes the money and leaves. The next day. The assassin wakes up just before sunrise and goes to town, first place he goes to his a clothes shop, and buys himself something called boxers, and some black socks, along with black sweat pants, a black T-shirt, black tennis shoes and a black trench coat and he looks in the mirror. He turns to the man whose been helping him find his size. "Sir, is there something that I can purchase to cover my unusual eye color?"

"We have some reflective sunglasses on display right over here"

"Very good" he walks over to them and finds a pair to his liking. "I'll take them"

"Very well sir" He pays for all the stuff, and wears his purchases out, carrying his old clothes in a bag. When who should he see in the mall, but Inuyasha and Kagome. 'Inuyasha' he thinks, 'and me without my weapons?'

"Come on Inuyasha" Kagome says

"Why are we here again?" Inuyasha asks

"Cause you keep ripping my bras up"

"Sorry, I'll try to do better"

'The woman's aura is different, her and Inuyasha must've mated recently.' the assassin thinks 'I shall give them enough time to conceive Inuyasha an heir'

Inuyasha stops as he sniffs that air, 'Another half-demon, here?' he thinks 'I know that scent' The assassin follows them back to their hotel room and writes a note for them, and slides it under the door and leaves. Shortly after he leaves Inuyasha finds the note and reads it. "Kagome!"

"What is it?" she asks

"He was here"

"Who?"

"The assassin"

"How do you know?"

"He left this" Inuyasha hands Kagome the note and she reads it.

~Dear Inuyasha I see you have found yourself a mate. I congratulate you, but don't think this lets you off easy. I want to see you back in the Warring States era in one month, or I will come and kill both you and your mate. If you actually show you are willing to face your fate I will let your mate live.

"What are we going to do?" Kagome asks

"Fight him" Inuyasha answers "And win"

Author's Note: Yes, I had to let the assassin cross over, it made a reason for Inuyasha to go back. Soon you will find out who the assassin is and why he wants to kill Inuyasha.
