Koneko equals kitten

Chapter six: The morning after

Koneko awoke as the door opened, she peered through her lashes and found Jaken walking in with a large tray filled with some of her favorite foods. She smiled, some people just thought Jaken was unlikable, but sometimes he surprised people, especially if Lord Sesshomaru wasn't around....or happened to be asleep. She sat up and actually smiled at the toad youkai, sliding out of the covers to come and help him with the tray, heedless of the fact that she was nude.

Jaken looked up at her, surprised to see her smiling at him, and almost lost his balance with the tray. Koneko, being who she is reached out and steadied him, taking the tray to sit it on a table. "Jaken, I'm surprised you remembered any of my favorites."

He blushed furiously, "Well, you and Lord Sesshomaru happen to share a lot of favorite foods."

She chuckled, "You're trying to be modest, I know for a fact that Sesshomaru hates coconut milk and sago dessert, that is something that only I have a taste for."

Jaken frowned hard, trying to find another excuse for knowing about the rare dessert, "Well, um, one of the serving girls must have made it by mistake..."

She laughed softly, just enough for Sesshomaru and Inuyasha opened their eyes enough to see what was happening. "You try so hard to be the perfect demon servant don't you? But you do have a soft spot, and here I didn't think you liked me." She quickly grabbed him and hugged him to her, "I like your soft spot."

Jaken blushed and tried to pull away, not wanting to risk Sesshomaru's wrath if he was angered by him touching her mate. "Release me.......please?"

She released him slowly and smiled down at him, "You fear my koishii's (*1) wrath am I correct?"

Jaken nodded hesitantly, "Hai (*2), only a fool would not."

She looked behind her at Sesshomaru and winked, "Well he isn't on you yet....and he's been awake since I laughed."

Jaken's face turned a sickly shade of light green as he looked over to see Sesshomaru smirking at him. "Eep," he fell on his knees, "forgive me My Lord, I did not mean any disrespect by touching your mate."

Sesshomaru chuckled as he sat up, "Stand Jaken, I am not angered, but you could bring us some tea, I see plenty of food....but you forgot anything to drink."

Jaken looked at him before smiling and nodding quickly, "Of course My Lord, I shall bring it right away!"

He ran from the room and Koneko returned to sit on the bed, dipping her fingertips in the coconut milk and sago dessert as she passed. Inuyasha watched carefully as she licked it off of her fingers and sighed happily, "I love this stuff, it's better than my rice cakes."

Inuyasha sat up and yawned loudly, "Nothing is better than your rice cakes."

"Really, not even my kisses?"

"That's not fair...I can't eat your lips. But your lips are definitely the greatest thing I've ever tasted."

Sesshomaru smirked over Koneko's shoulder as Inuyasha's face flushed, "You really need to get better accustomed to complimenting you mate, if you blush everytime....you're liable to faint."

"I've never fainted before in my life..."

Koneko smirked, "Oh, really not even after you destroyed that ink demon?"

Inuyasha's mouth fell open, "But how, when, why....HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT!!??"

"I've been keeping an eye on you two...how do you think I showed up the other day to save your ass?"

"But....why couldn't we sense you?"

"That's one of my gifts....I could hide myself right now in plane view and the only way you'd know I was here would be because of your eyes. I learned it a couple of years ago."

"Neat trick....can you teach it to others?"

She looked at them, trying not to laugh at the curious expressions they wore, her mind wondered to an old saying she'd heard, 'Curiosity killed the cat....or maybe she should make that dog.' (Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back...meow.) She shook her head and looked at them, "Maybe if I tried...but only you two..." Jaken walked in with a tea tray and sat it down between the three of them, there were three different pots, he'd made them each their own favorite tea. Koneko smiled as she siped her peppermint and ginger root tea, sighing happily as it made her throat tingle. Jaken hadn't lost his touch with tea...or food for that matter. "Jaken, would you mind handing me the coconut milk and sago dessert...." Her stomach growled loudly and the two Inu youkai laughed. "What?!? I'm hungry...you should be too." Just as they prepared to say something, both of their stomachs growled loudly as well, they blushed as she snickered, "Mating takes a lot of energy....best eat up now..."

Inuyasha naively asked, "Why?"

She smiled and kissed his nose, "Because we're mating again later...and I want you both at full power..."

Inuyasha blushed again and looked down, while Sesshomaru's mind began wondering all the things he could do to her tonight....maybe he could get Inuyasha help him. He smirked evilly and watched as Koneko's eyes widened, afraid and excited at the same time of just what he might be thinking of at the moment. Inuyasha looked between the two but quickly busied himself by eating some of the food off of the tray that Jaken had just sat on the bed before leaving. Sometimes those two could be scary....as much as he loved her...even Koneko scared him sometimes...and right about now was one of those times. He decided to stop the staring contest by waving the bowl of coconut milk and sago dessert under her nose.

As expected her nose twitched and she smiled widely before yelling, " COCONUT MILK AND SAGO DESSERT YEAH!" And promptly began eating. The two dog demons shook their heads with silent laughter before their stomachs reminded them to eat too, so everyone ate quietly...each stuck in their own thoughts of what later would be like...

A.N.: I know bad place to end, but I've kinda developed a writer's block...that happens when I update one right after the other, but never fear, I'll break the block soon and continue with the next lemon, ENJOY!
