Entering Kagome

Chapter five, Entering Kagome.

InuYasha now twenty five, with a daughter of eight stood in the living room of Kirara
and her boyfriend, Genteken Juang - a rich thirty year old man who owned the
hospital InuYasha had been offered a job within.

He owned a mansion just outside Tokyo and it wasn’t small exactly.

Packed with over twenty rooms, each holding a bath room. Also a kitchen, a ball
room and a large living room he was considered the richest bachelor in Japan, until
Kirara Kaneko got her slender hand on him.

They had dated for a year and just moved in together, in this huge building
resembling a castle.

InuYasha, Sesshoumaru and little Sorano had been invited to celebrate the couples
engagement. Of course others were there as well, but for Kirara they were the only
ones that mattered - along with her own family Sango and Kohaku.

Sorano wore a pink dress that Sesshoumaru had bought for her, for this occasion only
- seeing it fit with the shoes she’d begged him to death to buy for her.

Her hair was braided and reached down to the small of her back, she looked like a
female version of InuYasha, only difference being the dark hair.

InuYasha himself wore black dress pants and a white simple button shirt, while his
brother wore one of his expensive suites, like always.

There were a lot of people present, most that InuYasha knew from school and other
connections. Kouga and his wife Ayame were there, two that he mingled with
sometimes - being more friends with Genteken then himself.

Ayame were pregnant with their third child, and Kouga did not get off the hook that
easily as the friends joked what a horny wolf he was.

Sango, who had turned out to be a professional singer and actress graced everyone
with her presence - being escorted by a man InuYasha had gotten to know during his
stay and schooling at Harvard, Miroku.

InuYasha was responsible for bringing those two together, and from his side of the
view it was a good match.

The room slowly filled up with people, and Sorano demanded her dad to dance with
her - which he accepted.

He owed her some time after spending some extra with his current girlfriend Yura,
who today wasn’t present.

Kirara swayed her way over to InuYasha and her little girl who hugged the cat demon
tightly calling her aunty Kira.

“Yasha, come I want to introduce you to someone.”

She said in her very dark feminine voice he loved, after returning to Japan he hadn’t
had the time to spend with his friend, which he missed dearly.

Walking across the room they soon reached a woman who stood alone, she was cute -
lonown own hair that was braided and pulled up, short but slightly curvy figure and
two brown eyes that smiled back at him.

“This is Rin, Rin this is InuYasha.” She introduced them both, making them shake
hands.

“Nice to meet you Rin,” InuYasha said politely, slightly wondering why Kirara had
introduced them to each other, as she now magically had disappeared.

“You too, is that your little girl?” The brown headed woman pointed at the child
clinging to his leg.

“Yeah this is Sorano,” InuYasha grinned, his girl was so shy to strangers.

Rin kneeled down stretching out a stubby finger nailed graced hand, for his daughter
to take. After a few hesitating moments Sorano took it shyly.

“Hi,” She peeped out, almost to scared to say anything else.

“Hi, I am Rin nice to meet you Sorano.”

The little girl nodded blushing lightly.

Rin stood up smiling now locking eyes with the man in front of her, he might be
twenty five but appeared older and really good looking.

Before she could open her mouth to speak however, she saw the little girl Sorano
detach herself from her father and run off to the left.

Following her movement with curiosity she almost lost her breath when she saw who
the little girl had ran to.

The most angelic male she had ever seen in her life strode closer, with Sorano in a
tight embracing grip. He looked like InuYasha but much older and more
sophisticated, clean slender muscles danced under his thin dress shirt, as he had
taken his jacket off that now hanged over a crocked arm.

Her mouth watered at the mere sight of him, damn what a hottie!

“Ah Sesshoumaru,” the younger brother spoke up, introducing them both to each
other.

And to InuYasha’s surprise he could almost feel the spark ignite between them.

It wasn’t something you’d see everyday with Sesshoumaru, who never had a woman
by his side - always preferring to be left alone.

InuYasha got the cue before anyone else did and snatched Sorano from his brother
saying something about a promised dance, leaving the couple alone.

The night went on and soon it was time for the whole dinner thing, and thank Kami
for that for InuYasha was starving!

Sitting down next to Sorano and his brother he glanced around the table, now being
able to see almost everyone present at this engagement party.

However, as he was sitting there watching people socialize his eyes stopped on one
person, his heart speeded up and his mouth went dry.

She was beautiful, her hair black with soft curls, falling long behind her. As she took
a seat he could clearly see her pale flawless skin gracing an hourglass shaped figure
that made him drool.

Being dressed in a simple body tight dark green dress that covered her arms and
most of her upper body it stopped mid thigh giving him a clear glance of her
incredible legs.

She had her back turned to him, so he couldn’t make out her facial features, but as
one of the men at the top of the table stood up clinking his crystal glass to gain
everyone’s attention, she turned and his heart stopped.

A heart shaped face, two brown soulful but sad eyes that reminded him of melted
chocolate and full deep pink lips - that reminded him he was a man as his groin grew
by the mere sight of them.

Damn it’ he mentally cursed, never had he felt this way so fast he had to get to
know her, he HAD to.

However, when she brought up her hands to applaud the speech he never heard a
damn word of, he saw something that shattered the image of her in his bed - a big
diamond engagement ring flashing on her left ring finger.

He felt a pang of jealousy toward the man she’d approved to marry and damn it! He
didn’t even know her name yet.

Dinner went by fast and soon the whole speech and announcement were made,
leaving people to mingle the best they could or wanted too.

InuYasha found himself circling the woman, who had gained his attention without
even trying, like a animal stalking his prey.

Kirara had told him, as he had asked her who she was it was Kagome Higurashi and
she was engaged to a oil tycoons son, Hojo.

However, Kirara didn’t know much more then that and advised him to talk to Sango
about her since they were best friends.

When the dancing started InuYasha quickly asked Sango to dance with him, of course
not without getting the death eye from Miroku. But they were friends and he trusted
InuYasha.

“Tell me about Kagome Higurashi.” He demanded as he danced a valse with his
friends girlfriend.

“Sure what do you want to know?” Sango replied, if Miroku trusted this white haired
man so could she, besides she knew who he was since Kirara and her were half
sisters and the cat demon had dragged this boy with her home a few times.

But always busy working, Sango hadn’t had the time to speak with InuYasha so much
in private or any other occasion and after he was “blessed” with a child she never
saw him again. Until just recently when he sat her and Miroku up on a blind date
which turned into something more.

“Why is it that when she smiles, it doesn’t reach her eyes?”
<>

His question was unexpected as she had assumed he’d ask her things like: where
does she live, can I have her phone number etc.

Of course she would just smack him over the head and tell him Kagome was taken,
and for the horny white haired man to go stick his staff elsewhere.

So no, she had not expected it to be this question.

“What do you mean?” She asked innocently, knowing perfectly well why Kagome was
miserable, being forced into a marriage she didn’t want at all.

“You’re lying,” he replied slightly growling at her for not trusting him with this
information.

“Look, Inu it’s complicated just leave her alone, ok?”

“No.” He sounded like a stubborn child, not wanting to drop the subject.

Sango sighs before telling him some of the story, not the whole thing as she wasn’t
sure Kagome would want her to tell anyone at all.

“Kagome lost her parents when she was little and only had her self and her brother,
Souta to care for. Imagine being ten with a small child of three, having to make
means somehow as they did not have any living relatives. I met Kagome when we
both turned twelironironically on the same day. She and Souta had been taken in by
this rich man who owns a oil plantation - with the promise that when she came of
age she’d marry his only son.”

InuYasha listened to the tragic story of a young woman’s life, forced into a marriage
she couldn’t back out of, as she had made a promise - just like himself.

“She’s not allowed to work, but she has somehow convinced the old man to allow her
to take a morning shift somewhere, I am not sure where however.” Sango continued
as they danced, she didn’t feel right telling anyone about Kagome’s personal life but
to InuYasha it felt good. He actually cared, unlike others.

“Thank you Sango,” InuYasha said as the song ended leading her of the dance floor.
She nodded in responds before disappearing in the crowed, leaving InuYasha alone
with his thoughts.

Kagome was miserable, literally. She wanted to stay at the party - this being the
first time she was allowed to do something by herself without Hojo, who normally
was attached to her damn hip.

f">But tonight he was busy elsewhere and for that she was grateful. But now her pager
was beeping displaying a text that made her shiver - Hojo’s father wanted her back
home now!

Walking into the large hallway getting a servant to retrieve her coat, she could only
wait, ‘damn it!’ she mentally cursed.

Her life was as far away from a fairytale as possible, soon before forced into a
marriage which would mean a life time of imprisonment = no working, raise kids and
be the perfect trophy wife.

She sat down in the plush green couch in the light n han hallway, sighing.

“Is somefin wrong?” a young child’s voice seeped into her.

Slightly surprised she turned around only to see a very cute little girl with odd golden
eyes and black hair stare back at her from her hiding place - behind the couch.

Kagome smiled - something that usually came out fake but this time genuine and
wide.

“No, I am fine, I am Kagome.” She introduced herself to the little girl behind the
couch.

“My name is Sorano, but you can call me Sora.” The little girl smiled wide back at
her displaying a pair of side teeth that reminded Kagome of small fangs.

Not thinking twice about that however, as the little girl continued,

“Cus if you sick my daddy can make you better.”

f">Kagome smiled brightly at that, how cute.

“Does your daddy make you feel better when you are sick?” She askow tow too
curious to go as the servant came back with her black coat.

The little girl nodded eagerly, “yup he’s a doctor, he make a lot of people better but
he gives me soup and milk when my tummy hurts.”

“He works in a hospital?” Kagome really interested now as she had gotten a job just
recently at a hospital nearby.

Sorano nodded again, letting the braid that was flung over her shoulder dangle up
and down. Kagome smiled, maybe she would be blessed with a child like this, of
course not as adorable with golden orbs that was very unique and made her stand
out.

“Will you take me to my daddy? I don’t kno where he is.” The plea made Kagome’s
heart jump, how could she deny this? “Of course.” She said, holding out a hand for
Sorano to take.

Walking hand in hand into the large room, Kagome kneeled down next to the girl
asking which one was her dad. Sorano pointed straight and Kagome followed her
direction with her eyes.

Oh dear Kami’ was all that she could think as the most perfect and sexy male she
had ever seen stood leaning heavy against a table.

His hair was white and fell long behind him, two golden orbs slightly narrowed darted
around the room only to seconds later lock with hers.

The sexual tension could be cut with knife as the two kept staring at each other, lust
and need misting their eyes over. However, Sorano squealed and ran to her daddy
attaching herself to his leg, breaking the spell.

“Daddy that’s Kagome,” the little girl said with a clear voice pointing at the lady,
now standing only an arms length away. How she got there, Kagome didn’t even
know it was almost as if her limbs had a life of their own.

“Hi, I am InuYasha.” He introduced himself, stretching out a hand for her to take,
which she did and they both almost jumped at the shock of first skin contact.

“You have a great little girl there,” Kagome said with a voice that made InuYasha’s
blood heat up.

She affected him in a way he’d never felt before, and her scent sent his senses on
high end, wrapping his head in a cotton cloud.

“Thanks” he breathed out, being somewhat sisedised that Sorano didn’t seem shy
around this black haired beauty.

“Kagome is sick, she goin home.” Sorano informed him, as she linked her arms
around his neck.

“You sick?” His eyes flashed with concern, something Kagome found slightly odd as
they had just met.

“I’ll be fine, I have to go, it was nice talking to you two, bye Sorano.” She said
leaning in to give a cheek kiss to the little girl, but at the same go accidently
brushed her breasts against InuYasha’s arm, forcing him to bite back a groan.

“Bye Kagome!” Sorano chimed with a happy voice.

And like that, Kagome was gone - out of their life’s.

“I really like her daddy,” Sorano confessed, whispering into his sensitive ear.

“I do too,” and that wasn’t a lie.
