Chapter 5: Deal With The Devil
A/N: Sesshomaru decides that he wants more from Kagome and their one time little tryst is no longer enough for his lusty appetite. He tries to persuade Kagome into sleeping with him. Will she give in to Sesshomaru’s indecent proposal? I still do not own Inuyasha.
Sesshomaru sat at the island in the kitchen of his penthouse apartment. It was seven in the morning and he was reading the newspaper and drinking his morning coffee like he always did. Except this particular morning his mind was not entirely focused on the paper that was in front of him. No instead he was thinking about his student Kagome Higurashi and how beautiful she was to him. This young woman had become like an obsession to him and he could not force himself to leave her alone. Sesshomaru knew that Kagome was happily involved with her boyfriend because he had seen the two of them meet up after his class. Making it to school rather quickly he hurried to his class. Sesshomaru saw Kagome walking by herself down the hallway towards his classroom. She was early, he glanced down at his watch to see that it waly sly seven forty five. “Good morning Kagome, you’re early.”
“Good morning Mr. Nobunaga, yes I just wanted a little time alone to study for the exam.”
“Well then come inside please.” She smiled and walked into the dark classroom ahead of him. Sesshomaru flipped on the lights and set his day planner on his desk. “Kagome?”
“Yes Mr. Nobunaga?”
“Would you mind coming into fficffice for a moment? There’s something that I need to discuss with you.”
“Sure.” Kagome followed him to the back of the class and into his office. “Is something wrong?”
“Take a seat dear.” She sat down and waited for him to speak. He leaned casually on the edge of his desk. “Kagome, I wanted to let you know that your average has begun slipping again.”
“Really?”
“Yes I’m afraid it has. It’s only a B right now and it could fall to a C average if you’re not careful.”
“What can I do?”
“Well I was hoping that you would ask that. I suggest that in order to pull your overall average up that you do some extra credit work.”
“Okay, what kind of extra credit?” He smiled and paused to give himself a moment to compose his thoughts.
‘She’s making this way too easy!’ “Well Kagome, I was thinking that maybe we could spend a little time together outside of class and discuss that?”
“Where?”
“Maybe after class today at my penthouse?”
“You want me to come over to your house?”
“Yes, I have all the extra credit assignments there and I could let you choose which ones you would like to do.”
“Okay, um do you live far?”
“Only about fifteen minutes from here.”
“Okay listen, I’m going to call my boyfriend to make up an excuse or else he’ll come here looking for me.” Sesshomaru nodded and left his office to give her some privacy. Kagome pulled her cell phone out of her purse and dialed Inuyasha’s number.
His sleepy voice answered immediately. “Hello?”
“Hey Inu, did I wake you baby?”
“No, no I was just getting up. What’s up baby girl?”

“Don’t worry he’ll never know.” She nodded and then sat down to study until it was time for class to start. Soon it came closer to time for class to begin and the other students were arriving. Eight thirty came and Sesshomaru passed out all the exams. The room fell silent as everyone began working on their test. He watched Kagome as her brow wrinkled in thought. Since we had an exam today and I assigned homework as well you may be excused from class now.” All the students except Kagome got up and filtered out of the room. Once they were alone Sesshomaru strode over to Kagome’s desk. “Are you all set to follow me to my penthouse?”
“Yes.” Kagome fished her keys out of her purse andopedoped up her binder. She followed Sesshomaru out of his classroom and waited for him to lock the door. He led her outside and waited for her to get in her car. He climbed in his own car and pulled out of the parking lot. Kagome followed Sesshomaru quickly as he headed towards his penthouse. Just as he said the drive onlok fok fifteen minutes. They pulled into the parking garage and then walked over to the elevator. Sesshomaru pressed the button and the doors slid open. He and Kagome climbed into the elevator and rode up to the fifth floor. He led her into his penthouse smirking at her gasp as she looked at his expensive furnishings. “Wow, this is your apartment?”
“Yes, do you like it?”
“Like it? I love it!” He chuckled at her childish excitement. Sesshomaru strode over to his bar and pulled out two champagne glasses.
“Have you ever had any champagne Kagome?”
“No.”
“Well then this is a first for you.” He poured two glasses of Ferarri-Carrano champagne and handed one to Kagome. She accepted it and sipped it slowly. It had a crisp but wonderful taste to it. “Do you like it?”
“The champagne? Oh yes, it’s wonderful thank you.” He led Kagome over to his black leather sofa and sat down next to her. “So what kind of extra credit assignments do you have in mind?”
“Well Kagome, I was thinking that maybe I could give you special assignment.”
“Like what?” He leaned forward until he was inches from her face.
“Oh I was thinking you could maybe agree to have sex with me?”

“Just relax Kagome, think it over. If you sleep with me I’ll guarantee that you pass all of your classes. Why I’ll even guarantee you a job at NASA.” Her blue gray eyes lit up at the thought of working for NASA.
“You could get me a job with NASA?”
“Certainly, Kagome I know people, I have connections everywhere.”
“You would do that for me?”
“On one condition.”
“That condition?”

“I was thinking the rest of the semester.” Kagome sipped her champagne and looked down at her lap as she pondered the thought of sleeping with Sesshomaru.
