Chapter 6

Inu Taisho grinned as he stepped off his personal jet he had come home early to surprise his son’s and wife while also coming for Inu Yasha’s birthday, the first birthday he had ever been to for his son and it was going to be his eighteenth so he stepped into his limo and started for home.

Inu Yasha woke up to Rin kissing his neck “what’s up?” he asked sitting up.

“Nothing but I may need to have help when I walk” she said and Inu Yasha blushed.

“Sorry t bet being so rough” he said as they slowly got up and dressed in their only clothes, a pair of boxers and panties.

Inu Yasha picked Rin up bridal style so she wouldn’t have to move too much and carried her into the hall; they made their way to his room and went inside to see Kagome and Sango still sleeping. He grabbed some spare clothes for Rin and himself as they went to shower, the shower was uneventful but it woke Kagome and Sango up.

“Good morning” greeted kagome when Sango looked at her.

“Mornin’ Kagome, is that Inu Yasha in the shower?” asked Sango.

“Don’t know” was her reply as she got up and rummaged through her bags for some clothes; Sango did the same and when they finished dressing the shower stopped. Inu Yasha helped Rin dry off and dress as he was about to pick her up she shook her head “no I’ll walk” she said and kissed his cheek.

Kagome and Sango looked up as Inu Yasha and Rin came out of the bathroom that was in Inu Yasha’s room, he smiled at them as he walked over and kissed them good morning.

The girls stayed in the room fixing their hair while Inu Yasha began heading downstairs with his hair still wet, he was almost to the kitchen when he heard his father’s voice “Yeah I decided to come home early for once and see my family”

Inu Yasha stepped into the room and saw his father hanging over Kikyo and she looked at him apologetically, his father smiled looking over Sesshomaru’s shoulderere’ere’s your brother” he said and walked over to him “you’ll be eighteen tomorrow so I came to see you!”

Inu Taisho was a little taller than Sesshomaru and seemed to be trim but he had unusual strength for his trim body, his hair was cut short unlike Sesshomaru’s and Inu Yasha’s. He walked over, hugged Inu Yasha “there’s my boy” he said, and patted Inu Yasha’s back roughly making him move forward a bit.

“Dad” was all Inu Yasha could say not knowing what else to say.
sshosshomaru looked at Inu Yasha and when their eyes met, he smirked before leaving, and Inu Yasha was wondering if his brother would say anything about him and Kikyo. He was really nervous but his father didn’t seem to notice it all got quiet when his father heard feminine voices “yes I’m sure he was” said Kagome.

“Really?” asked Sango.

“Yeah, I mean at first it was hard . . .” she began but stopped when they entered the room to see Inu Taisho staring at them quizzically.

“And who are you young ladies?” he asked but then looked Rin over “Rin?”

“Umm yeah hi . . . it’s been awhile” she said shyly.

“Are you and Sesshomaru . . .” he began but Rin shook her head no.

“No I . . . Sesshomaru and I are still . . . I’m here with Inu Yasha” she said quickly.

Inu Taisho eyed his youngest son and then looked back at the girls “and is that Sango?” he asked.

“Yeah” she said smiling “welcome home.”

“Thank you its good to be back” he sand and then looked at Kagome “and a mini Kikyo!?”

“No dad that’s my girlfriend Kagome” said Inu Yasha and Kagome stepped forward.

“Hi it’s nice to meet you,” she said bowing slightly.

“I don’t get it, she’s your girlfriend but Rin is here with you” said Inu Taisho and then guessed it meant his son was getting a lot of action. He shook his head and chuckled “well I have some calls to make before your birthday tomorrow” he said and walked towards the door to leave “we’ll talk some more later.”

Kikyo knew it was risky but since the only ones in the room were herself and the three girls along with Inu Yasha; she walked over and kissed Inu Yasha trying to get the taste of Inu Taisho out of her mouth. Inu Yasha was a bit disturbed and angry that he could smell and taste (A/N: eww tasting your father!?) his father on Kikyo; Rin was still a little confused about the situation while Kagome was still trying to decide what to do.

Kikyo pulled away fInu Inu Yasha “I’m sorry” she said knowing that Inu Yasha got angry whenever she kissed his father, luckily in the four years of marriage she had never slept with Inu Taisho and she feared that Inu Yasha would flip out if she did.

“It’s ok” he replied.

Kikyo was about to say more but the butler brought in their breakfast and the group separated as they found seats at the table. Inu Yasha sat at the head of the table Kagome and Kikyo on either side of him, Sango and Rin acroacross from each other next to the other two.

“You do realize it’s Monday,” said Kagome as she looked up from her plate and to the clock on the wall.

“Huh!?” said Inu Yasha then it hit him “oh shit school!”

“We forgot! quick we have to pick up Miroku” said Sango as they all got up and ran to Inu Yasha’s room, they had to change into their school uniforms. When they were done they grabbed their book bags and ran to Inu Yasha’s car “we’re barely on time, lucky you said something Kagome” said Inu Yasha as they took off towards Miroku’s house.

“He’ll probably be in a bad mood after what’s happened between us” said Sango to Inu Yasha.

“Probably” was his only answer as the car disappeared around a corner.

Rin was getting the keys to Inu Yasha’s other car when Sesshomaru showed up, he stopped and looked at her while she refused to look at him but he was blocking the doorway.

“Rin” said Sesshomaru with no emotion.

Rin went to go around him but he grabbed her and slammed her into the wall, she got the wind knocked out of her and then Sesshomaru placed a forceful kiss on her. She squirmed and tried to push him away while trying to catch her breath, she finally brought her knee up in between his legs.

He loosened his grip and broke the kiss but still held her to the wall “bitch” he growled as he regained composure.

Rin was trying not to show her fear “let me go asshole” she said.

“Rin please . . .” Sesshomaru began in a softer tone.

“No I’ve heard all that I need to from you, I am with Inu Yasha now so deal with it” she said and Sesshomaru’s expression faltered to a look of regret. Rin didn’t stay long enoug dec decipher what it was as she finally pushed him off and ran downstairs to the garage, Sesshomaru didn’t give chase he stood in the doorway a little longer before leaving for work.

Inu Taisho hane tne to his other home to find his fathers sword to give to Inu Yasha for his eighteenth birthday, he was looking through the attic and when he couldn’t find it, he headed for his room.

“That’s odd,” he said to himself as he entered the room.

There was a chair in the middle of the room and a TV in front of it “I haven’t been here in a while but I don’t remember that.”

He walked over and saw some videos next to the TV and out of curiosity looked at them, there was writing that had a date on it so he looked at the VCR “guess it won’t kill me to see what’s on one.”

He set it up and sat down as it began to play at first he was confused when he saw his son sleeping but kept watching, he saw the door open and Kikyo enter.

“Inu Yasha you awake?” she said.

He sat up “yeah.”

Inu Taisho watched as his wife walked over as his son stood up and they began kissing, he stared in shock as the two began to undress and after a few minutes he realized they were having sex and his anger flared up. He was still confused and shocked but his anger over threw that as he stood up “What the fuck!”

He began to scream and tear apart his room trying to control himself and after a few hours he was to tired to move, he wanted to storm over and demand an explanation but instead began to form a plan in his head to catch them so they couldn’t deny it. He wanted to catch them while they were in the act to humiliate them and then he would show his anger; he got up and put his feelings aside as he planned.

Kikyo was busy trying to find something to wear for Inu Yasha’s birthday; she had been shopping all morning trying to find the perfect dress. She checked her watch and gasped ‘it’s 2:30 already, shit Inu Yasha’s coming home soon I have to get home and hide his present.’

His present was two first class tickets to Paris and of course her, she had planned on flying with him to Paris and then getting married while her lawyer gave Inu Taisho the divorce papers. She had heard he could get vicious when he was angry so she was planning on waiting a while before coming back, but it was supposed to be a surprise for Inu Yasha ‘why the hell did I leave the plane tickets in Inu Yasha’s study?’ she thought as she walked to her car.

She made it home in record time and ran to Inu Yasha’s study as fast as she could in her dress, she made it and was putting the tickets when Inu Yasha came in to put his book bag away “Kikyo?”

“Yeah?”

“What are you doing?” he asked putting his bag down.

“Uh umm I was trying to figure out your favorite color,” she said quickly.

He laughed “you know it’s red or anything that matches my eyes”

She smiled “Inu Yasha will you come with me, I need to get a dress and I was hoping that you would get a tuxedo that matches . . . you know because your father’s inviting people for a ball for your birthday.”

He sighed, “yeah a bunch of people that I don’t know at my birthday” he sighed again “let me change and I’ll go with you.”

“Ok I’ll go get the car ready, we’ll take the limo,” she said as Inu Yasha turned to leave.

Inu Yasha came in his room to find the ‘orgy group’ as he had dubbed the girls from the party, he smiled “I wish I could stay for some fun but I gotta run.”

Kagome and Sango waved goodbye to into their conversation to say anything to him, Rin was playing poker with Yuka, Eri and Ayumi on his floor. They began to whine but didn’t get up because they were in the middle of a game “I’ll be back later though, bye” he said and the girls finally realized he had been changing and looked at him as he pulled his pants on.

He finished getting dressed and heard a chorus of good byes as he left his room; he ran down the stairs and practically jumped into the limo making Kikyo giggle as he half landed in hap. ap.

“Inu Yasha” she began as the limo started to move “I was thinking that I would get a dress that was ayst yst and I was hoping you’d get a tux that matched.”

“Sure, lets try to get as close to my eye color as possible though . . . because if we don’t I feel like I’m not matching.”

“Well I was planning on getting them with a dark amethyst and a black, so you could only see the color under the lights . . . otherwise it looks like its black.”

He smiled “yeah and when you give me my eighteenth birthday dance the guests will notice the color when we dance in the ball room.”

Kikyo nodded knowing Inu Yasha loved to dance and was great at it but he hated to admit it or dance for people that would see him more than once, she had seen him dance at the Christmas ball when he was fifteen and was in awe at his talent and was upset that his dance partner was falling behind. She would have gladly been his partner but the two were already dancing and Inu Taisho was showing her off to some business associates.

Sesshomaru was on the third floors east wing in his study trying not to think of the fact the girl of his obsession was so close to him, he tried to focus on work but it did no good so he got up and headed for the kitchen.

He entered to find Rin talking with the chef and grabbing some random alcoholic beverages, he smirked “hey bitch we don’t serve minors.”

She looked up and the chef scurried away Rin was angry with him like always but hid it and smiled, she also began to unbutton her shirt “but it’s so hot I was hoping for a cold drink . . .”

He tried to ignore the cleavage coming into view “there’s always soda or water.”

Rin didn’t want to be in his company any longer but just smiled ‘I can’t believe I’m gonna do this’ she walked over to him “would you let me have them for a kiss?” she asked innocently.

He could see down her shirt and she didn’t have a bra on, he swallowed hard trying to will his now hardening manhood back down “Rin” he practically whimpered as she rd upd up against him.

She tiptoed and placed a feather light kiss on his lips and then darted away trying not to gag, when Sesshomaru came out of his shock he realized she had played with him to get what she wanted and it pissed him off.

He was getting angry and didn’t trust himsel he he decided to leave after half an hour of pacing and was pulling out of the gates as the limo pulled in “wonder where Sess is going” said Inu Yasha.

Kikyo was s loo looking at the jewelry that Inu Yasha had gotten her that matched their clothes; she smiled at him but didn’t say anything as the limo stopped.

Rin had gotten the other girls drunk and they were all trying to sing along with the radio when Inu Yasha came in, he realized they were drunk and smirked “having fun are we?”

They looked at him “Hey its Igloo Asha” slurred Rin and began laughin

The other girls started to snicker and Inu Yasha rolled his eyes “very amusing.”

Sango seemed to be the only one holding her own against the alcohol “Inu Yasha where’d you go?” she asked with only a slight slur.

He was hanging his tuxedo up and turned around “I was with Kikyo” he said walking over to his bed, and even though they were drunk Rin, Sango and Kagome got quiet at the mention of Kikyo.

He didn’t pay attention because he feared Kagome’s answer if he asked so he just went to the bathroom and washed up, he heard the butler announce dinner and Inu Yasha just drifted through the rest of the day.

The next day he didn’t do much as all the girls went out with his credit card to get dresses for his birthday, he was waiting for 7:00 because that’s when his birthday ball started.

Kikyo of course had gone with the entourage because she couldn’t pass up shopping, as she watched Kagome check out a dress she sighed “Kagome?”

“Yes” she replied as her friends wandered off with Rin.

“What is you answer?” she asked.

It took her a minute to understand and then looked at the older woman “I’m not sure, why?”

“Because I need to get a dress ready if you agree and . . . and well I was hoping that if you agreed . . . well that you’d be one of my bridesmaids.”

Kagome stared at her for a while “I-I umm . . . I don’t know what to say, we hardly know each other . . .”

“It’s ok you have time, you can answer me later” said Kikyo as she went to look at lingerie.

Kagome shook her head and went back to finding a dress while Rin and Sango had left the other three girls near the jewelry and were just watching the others, “I don’t like wearing dresses” said Sango.

“Me either, but it’s for Inu Yasha” said Rin as she glanced at a few dresses.

“Yeah I guess, I would do anything for him . . .”

Rin just looked at her out of the corner of her eye before heading towards Kagome, and they spent a few more hours shopping.

Inu Yasha was in his study playing with a pen on his desk “this is boring” he said to himself and threw the pen at the bookshelf.

He looked at the clock “fuck yeah one more hour, but even then the ball will suck,” he sighed before standing up.

Sesshomaru stepped in and startled him as he slammed the door “little brother.”

He got over the shock and looked at him “yeah?”

“Brother you need to do something about Rin she’s driving me crazy . . . either you have her leave or convince her that I’m sorry . . .”

Inu Yasha walked over to him “what exactly happened between you two?”

Sesshomaru sat down and started telling Inu Yasha what had happened, and he listened with mild interest “look Sess you cheated on her and it’ll be hard and I can’t promise anything but I’ll talk to her ok?”

“Ok” replied Sesshomaru as he stood up, he was walking out but stopped at the door “thanks” and Inu Yasha just nodded.

Inu Taisho was having a problem because he hadn’t come up with a plan and only had an hour before his son’s birthday; he was putting on his tux ‘I guess I’ll have to figure it out during the ball . . .’

Inu Yasha was putting on his tux as the girls who had come back finawerewere getting primped and ready “what dance should I do” he asked himself in the mirror as he tied the bow “maybe I should just go with the waltz, I’m not sure of Kikyo’s skill or knowledge and I don’t want to mess up . . .”

He finished up and had a maid tie his hair back in a black thong, making his hair run in one thick strand down his back. (A/N: if you’ve played or seen FFX-2 it looks like Yuna’s hair except all of it’s long and the tie is black.)

Guests began arriving as everyone finished getting dressed even though Inu Yasha hadn’t seen his father yet, he stood with Sesshomaru near the entrance to the ball room where people shook his hand and said happy birthday.

Once everyone arrived, they began playing music and the people began dancing, Inu Yasha saw Sesshomaru looking from him to Rin and nodded “Hey Rin”

“Yeah” she answered watching the people dance to some classical music.

“Look Sess told me what he did to you, and I don’t like it but I was wondering if you’d give him a chance . . . I mean you know just one dance tonight to hear him out.”

Rin glared at him “why he hurt me he doesn’t deserve it . . .”

“Please Rin, if you still don’t change your mind I’ll give you anything you want.”

Rin grinned and he didn’t like it “ok Inu honey, you promise though right?”

He swallowed ‘what the hell am I getting myself into?’ and then he sighed, “yeah I promise.”

Rin pranced over to Sesshomaru and Inu Yasha saw his brothers face light up; Rin looked at him “I’m giving you one dance to convince me to change my mind about you.”

Sesshomaru realized he would probably not get another chance “alright.”

They walked out to the floor as a slow song began, he pulled her close “Rin I’m sorry for what I did and I would give anything to change it but I can’t, but I love you no matter what has happened I still love you” he whispered.

Rin had been holding the grudge against Sesshomaru for a while but felt it start to slip as he continued, “I want to start over with you to prove that we are meant for each other . . .”

Rin placed her face in his chest “you can’t do this, you can’t try to love me now . . .”

“But Rin I love you I want to be with you forever . . .”

Rin remembered that he had said that when he took her virginity and stiffened which Sesshomaru noticed “Rin?”

“No Sesshomaru I can’t love you anymore” she said beginning to cry, “I’m sorry but I just can’t, please understand that we had our chance but we have to move on.”

“Please Rin” he begged and she turned her teary eyes to his golden ones.

She saw love and desire but it reminded her of that night he was on top of her whispering that they would be ther her forever, the song ended and they stood there “Sess . . .”

He waited and it looked as if she was finally caving, she pulled away from him “no, I’m sorry but no” and with that she ran to Inu Yasha and cried on his shoulder.

Sesshomaru stood there his heart crushed and he knew it was over; he turned wentwent to the back yard where only a few people stood near the pool.

Inu Yasha hugged Rin “are you alright?”

“I’ll be fine in a few minutes, but now I get what you promised.”

“Yeah ok, so what did you want?” he asked nervously.

She kissed him lightly “I want to have your baby” and with that said she walked away to Yuka and Eri’s table.

Inu Yasha stood there with wide eyes ‘Shit!’ he thought before Kikyo came up and it was obvious they had planned to dress in the same color.

“Inu Yasha what had you planned?”

He sighed, “I want to do this quick and easy, so we’ll just do a waltz and then we can slip out with the others and have a real party.”

“Ok” she said and smiled then whispered “I have a few presents for you, but one I’m wearing under this dress.”

She saw Inu Yasha pull back and look her over “well let’s waltz so I can open my presents.”

Inu Taisho arrived as his son took the dance floor with Kikyo and as they began, he noticed the small touches and glances that meant more when you knew what to look for, he practically growled as he watched them dance.

“Inu Yasha we should have done something more exciting” whispered Kikyo as she closed her body in on his.

As the song was coming to and end the othuestuests joined them “I donike ike dancing in front of people” he whispered in return as some slow music began and he pulled her closer.

They both forgot about anyone else and slowly danced as Kikyo put her head on Inu Yasha’s shoulder, she sighed happily “I don’t ever want this to end.”

He chuckled “it’s nice to be here like this, except all these other people . . .”

Kikyo pulled away when she remembered the guests and blushed “we probably shouldn’t get so caught up . . .”

Inu Taisho watched as Kikyo had got close and comfortable in his son’s arms, he saw them say something and she pulled away blushing. They began to laugh and leave the dance floor ‘what the hell should I do, just confront them or what?’ he thought angrily.

The two walked over to where the others sat including Miroku, Kouga and Hojo.

“That was great Inu Yasha,” said the girls while the guys rolled their eyes.

“Look I want to get out of this tux and have a really party, why don’t we all change and meet at that new club . . . the umm Wicked Nights club ok?”

“Sure!” they all agreed and headed for the appropriate places to change, the guys had to go home but the girls just had to go upstairs.

Kikyo had walked into her room and began to undress “where are you going” came Inu Taisho’s voice.

She whipped around “oh umm well I was going to go out for a drink at a club . . .”

He stepped closer to her and she could see he was angry about something so she backed away “u-umm yeah . . . I-I’ll be back later” she said trying to hide her fear.

“I know about you and my son,” he growled and her eyes widened.

“What!?”

He didn’t respond instead he slapped her sending her sprawling to the floor “you’re just a little slut aren’t you and here I thought I had a virgin wife at home!”

“Please don’t,” she begged but he paid no heed as he bent over and slapped her again, eventually he picked her up by her dress making it tear and kept slapping her. When she fell down he kicked her a couple times, he was getting ready to punch her again when the door opened.

Inu Yasha came in “Kikyo I was . . .” he cut himself off when he saw Kikyo’s face and his father ready to strike again.

“What the fuck dad!”

“I know about you and this slut!” he growled and stood up.

Inu Yasha registered the information but was to angry to be shocked and after that all his father could remember seeing was his son’s fist coming at his face, after knocking out his father he kneeled next to Kikyo.

Her cheek was swelling and her lip was bleeding, she had the beginnings of a black eye and bruises forming all over her body which were visible through her torn dress “oh god Kikyo are you alright?”

She jumped into his arms “Inu Yasha” she cried and kept crying his name repeatedly.

Eventually he picked her up and carried her to his room as she cried into his shirt, when he entered the room the girls looked at her “oh my god what happened?”

“My dad found out” was all he said and Rin, Sango and Kagome understood as he laid Kikyo on his bed.

Yuka, Eri and Ayumi were in the dark but were to worried about Inu Yasha’s mom to ask questions, Rin ran to get a wash cloth while the other girls made her comfortable. She kept trying to climb back into Inu Yasha’s arms so they eventually let her stay in his arms, Sesshomaru came in after awhile “mind explaining why father is . . .” he cut himself off when he saw Kikyo “shit what did he do!?”

“He found out and attacked her, so I punched him when I walked in” Inu Yasha growled as Kikyo slowly fell asleep in his arms after having her wounds cleaned.

“Inu Yasha what are you going to do?” asked Kagome.

“I need to think, why don’t you all go out with the other guys an Sess here,” he said looking at Kikyo “I’ll stay with her tonight and we’ll figure out the rest later.”

They seemed reluctant to leave but Sesshomaru told them not to argue so they agreed, and all hopped in the limo ‘I hope you’ll be all right little brother’ thought Sesshomaru as he looked at the mansion.

Inu Yasha laid Kikyo down gently before climbing in bed next to her, as he laid down Kikyo grabbed for him in her sleep and curled up next to him whimpering.

“Kikyo I’m sorry,” he whispered kissing her softly.

He had locked his door earlier just in case his father woke up and drifted off to sleep holding Kikyo in his arms, while Inu Taisho was still unconscious in his room with fractured jaw.
