The wolf demon turned around ready to speak at Inuyasha smirking,but he smelled another hanyou.He looked away from Inuyasha,he sniffed the air,seeking where the cent was comming from.He smelled a female...cat,a female cat hanyou was nearby.
He looked at a pink haired female standing under a tree nearby.She was clearly beautiful,"but not as beautiful as Kagome,"he thought.He ran at her with increadible speed and looked at her.
She was suprised at this action and so made an instinctive reaction.She pointed her long claws under toward him,"What do you want?"she said coldly.Kouga diddent expect such an attitude from such a delicate looking hanyou but he diddent show it.He thought of a good joke to play on Inuyasha to piss him off.
He chuckled and then turned to Inuyasha,"So,you found yourself a hanyou mate Inuyasha, guess that means Kagome is mine for the taking right?"Inuyasha turned bright red,not of embaressment though,but with anger."Shutup,you stupid wolf ,she is just a friend,she has nothing to do with this,leave her alone,and keep you hands off of Kagome!"
The two were stopped from arguing when Mimiko jumped in front of Kouga.She took this personally,he used her as a joke to play on Inuyasha and surly enough it enraged him,and he was one of her very few friends.She diddent want him to stop being friends with her because of a stupid wolf demons joke.She raised her claws under his chin with one hand."So,you think making jokes about me is funny eh?",she was pissed,"well you wont think so for l...."
"Mimiko dont hurt him!He dosent know you thats all,dont take it personaly,he's one of our friends!"Kagome inturrupted her,Mimiko gave an icy glare at the wolf.He shiverd those eyes diddent seem scary at all when she was calm or even suprised,but the glare he recieved from this "Mimiko"was so icy he could almost feel it!
She retraccted her nails and walked toward Kagome.She spoke aloud not caring if he heard, "That "it"is your friend!!"Inuyasha wore a smirk on his face enjoying the fact that he wasent the only one who disliked Kouga.Kouga diddent like how Inuyasha was enjoying the fact that his friend hated him,so he decided to apoligize.He walked slowly to the two girls and spoke,"Mimiko is your name right?" Mimiko yet again gave him a glare,"yes,"she said angrily.Kouga shook of the feeling he got from the glance and continued,"My apoligies Mimiko,any friend of Kagomes is a friend of mine."
"Sure ok, i dont really care anyway"she said flatly,as she turned away from Kouga and instead walked toward Inuyasha.It felt like a group thing where instead of being in a group with Kouga and all of Mimiko’s other friends,sheher her go to Inuyasha's seldom group.She stood next to Inuyasha and said very lowly knowing that he could hear it said"Inuyahsa i see why you disslike this…this fool."Inuyasha smiled finding it funny some how.
Kagome tried to lighten up the mood and said,"See Mimiko,Kouga's not bad!"Mimiko ignored Kagome's attempt to make her like the demon.Kouga not liking how the situation turned out he gave Kagome a light and unexpected hug and left.A tornado dissapearing in the distance.
"Inu-Feh/Mim-Meh"Inuyasha and Mimiko said in unison.They looked at eachother and quirked questioning eyebrow at each other. Sango and Miroku who both had nothing to do with the situation were sitting down on the grass chatting away about how persistant Kouga was to win Kagomes heart."Inuyasha and Kagome like eachother,why dont they just admit that they like one another.And then tell Kouga that Kagomes love is with Inuyasha,"Shippo said innocently,shaking his head.
"Shippo!"Kagome said embarresed and blushing.Inuyasha lunged at the Kitsune and repeatedly hit him in the head."Dont do that Inuyasha!"Kagome yelled grabbing Shippo away from him.They argued none stop untill Kagome got so mad she yelled "SIT BOY!"and went home to her erea.
Inuyasha stomped away from the remaining group.Miroku decided to tell Kieda that Kagome left.So Sango and Mimiko decided to bathe in the lake near by.Taking Kilala(sangos demond cat)and Shippo with them.
After they were finished bathing Mimiko decided to go on a late afternoon walk.She walked to a huge tree with a scar on it.(lets call it a scar)"This must be the tree Inuyasha told me he was spellcasted on!"She walked up onethe the roots and pressed her hand agenst the marking.
He was deep in thought sulking and pouting on one of the Go-Shinboku's high branches.When he hear her speak.He was suprised at himself for not noticing her there earlier."How sad,it must be so hard for him.....fifty years!"He looked down on her,clearly she did not notice his presentce.He listend to Mimiko speak to herself.”....all that he has gone through. being nyounyou is hard enough!That is somthing i can relate to.Only a strong willed person can go through all the stuff you went through…."He smiled at the compliment that she gave about him,finding it funny that she was giving him a complemet that was not ment for him to hear,yet he was there spying.
He decided that that was enough snooping.Even he diddent like to be spied on.He jumped down from the branch and startled her."Aiiii!Inuyasha whats wrong with you....were you spiying on me!"He obviusly aggitatted her so he decided to be nice."Sorry, I was just sitting up there when all of a sudden i head you talking to youself!"She madly blushed,"Inuyasha how did you do it?How can you act so calm when people talk about how your a hanyou?Or how Kagome is the riiancarnation of the once loved Kikiyo,who now once again walks the Earth?"
Thinking of such sad and devistating issuess she started to cry.She cried because saying those things made her think of her own devistating issuess.She thought of her family and villagers death's.
He noticed that she was criying even though she looked away from him he knew.(because dogs can smell the human emotions that come off of us..its true!)He knew why she was crying she was crying for her family and her own lost and loved ones. "I put up with it the same way you do...I guess.I try to worry about now instead of then.True I will never forget “them”,but you cant spend your whole life dwelling on the loss of loved “ones”.I care the friends that care for me now,and I will always remember the “ones” I cared for then."
She stopped crying,she thought about what he had just tolled her.She then wiped her tears off on her kimono sleeve and looked up at him.She smiled"Thankyou Inuyasha,you are a great friend!"She then hugged him and toled him,"lets go back to Kiede's hut it's getting dark and I can smell dinner!"Inuyasha was suprised she hugged him,he knew it was a friendly hug..a thanks,but from what he thought he knew,it dident seem like something she would do.He shrugged it off and walked after her towards the hut.

Ok!I know this one had warm fuzzies and some tension,what a mix of attitudes huh?Well I promise somthin funny is instore for you in the next chap cuz Mimiko playes another one of her pranks on Inuyasha.^_^ LOL!Review!
