Chapter Five: Shock
Disclaimer: *sigh* I do not own Inuyasha.
Hello just read it. It will most likely be short, but he next one will be long, ok? . AND REVIEW!!!!! Oh and MAKE SURE YOU READ MY NOTE AT THE BOTTOM LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, it took longer than expected because the stupid internet wouldn't let me on,. Stupid damn internet.

Sesshoumaru sped through the trees. He was so angry that Inuyasha would do something like that. It was beyond enraging.
That Kikyo woman had told him that Inuyasha had revived Sesshoumaru's mother to torture her and get back at him.
"Damn you Inuyasha, if I find you..." He couldn't even think right now.
He could smell the scent of Inuyasha in the trees. He had been following this trail for a while. He could smell his mothers scent as well, mixed with confusion and sadness.
"You made a big mistake this time Inuyasha."

"Isn't there any other way?" Inuyasha asked.
"Well, the only other thing to do is let Sesshoumaru find us, Kyoko gets her memory back, and we hope she wont kill us, and will remember how nice we were." Miroku said.
"Fine, we have to kill Kikyo."Inuyasha said. " I will do it."
"Are you sure?"
Inuyasha nodded.
"We're back!" Kagome said happily, walking into the hut.
Kyoko was smiling, so Inuyasha assumed everything went well.
Inuyasha asked after they had sat down, "Kyoko, was it Kikyo who revived you?"
Kyoko suddenly looked scared. "Wh-what?"
Miroku now said, "Kyoko, we figured it out, now we just need to now if we were right. Did Kikyo revive you."
She nodded slightly and whispered, "She told me not to say who revived me. What will she do to me?"
"She can't hurt you, none of us will let her hurt you." Kagome said.
"Well we have to go, we have to find Kikyo and...kill her." Inuyasha said, standing up.
Everyone else stood up. As they walked out of the hut, Kaede said,
"I hope it goes well. Try not to run into Sesshoumaru."
Everyone waved goodbye except Inuyasha.
As they traveled, Kyoko started acting strange. Kagome could sense the enegy of the Shikon shard pulsing through Kyoko's body.
"She is near," Kyoko said, "I can feel it."
Inuyasha said, "and I can smell her. She is very close."
He turned. "Come out Kikyo, we know that you are there."
Kikyo appeared before them, looking very angry.
She turned to Kyoko. "I thought I told you to not tell them who revived you."
Inuyasha stepped in front of Kyoko, who looked scared.
"She didn't tell us Kikyo, we figured it out! Leave her alone!"
Kikyo put up her hand towards Kyoko, and suddenly, Kyoko was on her knees, clutching at her heart.
"Kyoko!"
"What are you doing to her?!" Inuyasha asked.
"Punishing her."
Kyoko screamed in pain. Everyone except Inuyasha was at her side. (Inuyasha is arguing with Kikyo so he can't be)
Kyoko couldn't bare this pain. It felt as if her heart was being ripped from her. Suddenly, she got a picture in her mind, and something came to her.
She was pushing a knife through her heart, trying not to cry out with pain.
'no! I can't give up! I have to bare the pain!'
She stood up, trying to deal with the pain, but she fell again. She could hear Inuyasha's voice yelling.
Inuyasha was in front of Kikyo in a second, pointing the Tetsusaiga at her throat.
"You wouldn't do it," she said, smirking.
He closed his eyes and swung tetsusaiga, hitting on target.
Kikyo screamed, and seconds later, all that was left of her was clay, dirt, and bones.
The pain in Kyoko's heart stopped, and she stood up, dizzy.
"Kyoko, are you sure your okay?" Shippo asked.
Kyoko nodded.
Kagome walked to Inuyasha.
"You okay?" she asked.
"Yeah."he answered. "It isn't her who I care about anymore."
That was all he said, and he smiled at Kagome, then walked away.
'Wait a minute, is he saying...'
She looked at him, and he nodded. She smiled.
Later, after everyone was sitting around the fire in Kaede's hut, Sango finally said,
"Does anyone here remember besides me that Sesshoumaru is looking for us?"
"Shit, I forgot about him!" Inuyasha said.
"Inuyasha, what if he follows your scent here?" Kagome asked, worried.
Inuyasha thought, ' This is bad. If Kyoko sees him, then we are dead.'
Sesshoumaru......
' Good, Im getting closer.' Sesshoumaru thought as he sped through the trees angrily.
He could see a village up ahead when he jumped above the trees.
'They are there.'
Suddenly, he stopped. He smelled this time in his mother's scent extreme pain and fear.
He growled and continued on.
"Inuyasha, when I find you, Im going to rip you into shreds."
