Chapter Five

Sesshomaru was ready to rip off some one’s head, particularly that of his half brother. InuYasha had been moping around the castle non-stop since the whelp had fallen for Yumi. Yumi herself had been no less irritating or mopey. He was ready to just take the pair and toss them into a warded room and let the two of them work it bef before they derailed the entire war council. He then smirked. ‘Well, why the hell not? It may just work.’

“I don’t like that look your giving, it’s very foreboding,” a voice said from beside him.

Sesshomaru spun around to see Kagome leaning against a wall, staring at him. “What look?” he asked.

“What do you plan to do to him now?” she asked.

“Who?”

“InuYasha, that’s who, you only get that look when your about to torture him in some way.”
pla plan to help him with his predicament with Yumi.”

“You need help? ‘Cause honestly, I think they need to just mate and stop bothering the hell out of everyone.”

Sesshomaru smirked. “Where did this come from?”

Kagome smiled slyly “I guess I have been spending too much time with Yumi.” but then her face turned to that of concern. “Why did you kiss me?”

Sesshomaru was taken aback. He had not expected that to come up. “Did you not want it?”

Kagome shook her head. “No, I mean, yes, I wanted it. I won’t lie to you, I love you dearly, but the question is: do you lov?”
?”

Sesshomaru’s eyes softened. “Hai.” Kagome’s eyes shined with unshed tears of happiness as he spoke. She then leapt at him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She then felt warmth as he did the same. “I want you as my mate, Kagome. Would you be the mother of my pups and my mate for all time?” he asked softly.

“Of course!” she sighed happily.

Sesshomaru then lifted Kagome into his arms and, using his youkai speed, headed for her bedroom. As soon as they entered the room and the door closed behind them, he captured her lips. At first the kiss was soft and innocent, giving away to great passion that they both had for each other as Sesshomaru’s tongue shot into her mouth, tasting her hungrily. Kagome gently placed her arms about his neck and hung onto him for dear life.

Kagome felt herself melt under his touch as his hands roamed under her kimono. She arched into him and moaned as he kneaded one of her breasts under her bra while still holding her by smalsmall of her back.

“Sesshomaru!” she gasped as he broke his lips away from hers.

“Kagome,” he whispered as he slashed her kimono open with his claws and tossed it aside. He then began an assault of kisses down her neck and collarbone as he ripped her bra and panties off while removing his clothes as well. Gently he lapped at the hallow of her throat with his tongue. Kagome gasped as he took her right breast into his mouth and sucked upon her erect nipple while playing with her other between his thumb and forefinger.

Kagome was in ecstasy as he moved to her other breast with his mouth. Meanwhile he had placed her onto the soft silk of her mattress and now lay on top of her. Kagome shivered with pleasure as he brushed his fingers against her jewel and then entered his long fingers into here fie fisted his long, silky, silver hair as wave upon wave of pleasure came over her body. Sesshomaru smiled against her skin as he trailed kisses down her stomach to her womanhood. She opened her legs further as he placed his mouth upon her nether lips and licked at her juices.

Kagome moaned as his velvet tongue pushed past her lips and tasted her. He smiled and looked up at her flushed face. She’s sweeter than I imagined… oh gods… Kagome…

He then placed his lips over her pink, erect jewel and sucked upon it. Kagome’s back arched as she felt electricity flow through her body, sending her close to the edge. She was ready to fall into the precipice when he stopped. She lay panting as he positioned himself over her and entered her body with one quick thrust. Kagome merely gasped as he broke through her barrier. After waiting a few moments to allow her to regain herself, Sesshomaru moved within her, Kagome wrapped her legs about his waist and pulled him in more as he began to thrust in and out of her. With her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, she held him tight as she moaned into hir. r.

The taiyoukai of the western lands increased his rhythm as he came closer and closer to the edge. Suddenly, he felt Kagome’s body clamp down around his body as she screamed his name in orgasm, sending him over the edge. He then thrust deeply into her body as he spilled his seed into her trembling body as he bit into the junction of her neck and shoulder and a white light enveloped them both. After a few moments, the couple collapsed into each other’s arms gasping for air.

Kagome snuggled closer to her mate as he licked his mark clean of her blood. “So what was your plan for InuYasha and Yumi?” she asked.

Sesshomaru smirked. “Lock them in a warded room and hope for the best.”

Kagome giggled. “I like that idea, I’m in, I can get the wards from Miroku easily… later, right now, I’m feeling a bit tired,” she mumbled as she drifted off into sleep.

Sesshomaru smiled as he looked down at his mate. ‘Ai shiteru, Kagome.’

InuYasha sighed heavily as he wandered aimlessly down the hall. Little did he know that he was being observed by three pairs of familiar eyes.

“That sigh is familiar, don’t you think?” Miroku asked. Kagome had summoned him and Sango only a week ago, informing him of the war council and their imminent attack on Naraku. It was only yesterday, though, that she and Sesshomaru had decided to fetch them and tell them of their devious plan to get Yumi and InuYasha together. Of course, Miroku was all ears.

Sango had been reluctant, until now that it. “This is just like when Kagome would get angry and go home. He’d just sit at the edge of the well and sigh like that. He must be in love with her; I’m in Kagome-chan.”

Kagome smiled. “Wrfulrful, Sango-chan… did he really do that when I was home?” she asked.

“Hai, it was rather annoying,” Miroku nodded.

“Did you guys just sit around and watch him mope?”

“Not really, only when we went to see how he was doing, and it was usually that,” Sango answered.

“Oh, alright. So, you guys are all in for Sesshomaru’s plan?” she confirmed.

Miroku and Sango nodded and the three of them slipped off into the shadows, while a certain mopey hanyou knew none the lesser.

Jin smirked when Kagome explained her mate’s plan to him and then laughed. “Oh I can’t wait! We can set it up in the dojo, I’ll have the servants clear the weapons out, it’s more durable than the other rooms and it’ll be easier to convince them.”

Kagome grinned at her brother’s eagerness. “After we finish with those two we can get back to planning our strategy,” Kagome said.

“True, I am glad that you and Sesshomaru finally decided to mate though, as well. Or else InuYasha and Yumi wouldn’t have been the only ones locked in a room,” Jin teased.

Kagome rolled her eyes. “Okay, I get it already! You know, Miroku, Yumi and Sango have all said similar things? Just be happy that you only have one pair to lock in a room! Knowing InuYasha, he isn’t going to be happy when he gets out.”

Jin smirked. “Or maybe he’ll be very happy, who knows? We can only hope for the best,” he teased.

Kagome giggled. oku oku has the wards ready to place, I’ll tell him to start placing them on the windows and doors of the dojo, the room will be totally sealed when he places the last ward on the last door. Then, we wait, and as you said, hope for the best.”
