Prompt Summary: Jakotsu sees something that doesn't bode well for his companion.

Seeing the barkeep softly talking to the only man currently sitting at the bar, Jakotsu walked over silently and waited patiently for himself to be noticed; with a pleasant smile adorning his face. "Yes miss?" the barkeep prompted a moment later when he turned his own smile toward his newest patron.

"I would like to order breakfast for my brother and myself. No need to send them up to our room, I'll be back for them," Jakotsu explained, not wanting to chance him seeing that Bankotsu was wounded. After receiving an estimated time for it to be ready, Jakotsu decided he could use some fresh air and headed outside for a walk.

Though the morning sun had barely started rising in the sky, the townsfolk were already bustling at full speed; as though they had already been up for hours. Paying the strangers little mind, other then to return greetings when a cowboy tipped his hat to him, Jakotsu was enjoying the fresh air until something caught his eye. Unsure why the man's movement was tickling some unknown thought at the back of his mind, Jakotsu decided it was a good idea to find out for himself.

Making his way over as the man he was watching finished putting up a couple of flyers, Jakotsu waited for the man to go back inside before taking a closer look. In front of him was a large wooden board with the words 'armed and dangerous' etched into the top. Below the caption were numerous posters depicting men and the bounties that were on their heads; some of which were yellowed by age.

One in particular, that Jakotsu had just watched the man who he now believed was the sheriff or at least one of his deputies post, bared a striking resemblance to Bankotsu.
