Golden Eyes

Inuyasha drove Heather home. She pulled him into her home with fevered kisses as clothing was desperately being torn off of their bodies.

Heather wanted to cry since she had fallen in love with Inuyasha, but this would be the last night for their happiness since she knew once this was done she would have to do something terrible to get her daughter back if she was still even alive.

Inuyasha’s lips were addicting and Heather fell into his arms onto her bed as he slid his hands along her hips pulling them up so he could rub his erection across her very wet curls.

“Kami woman I want you……….”

Inuyasha ground out as he couldn’t hold back any longer checking to see if she was ready with nimble fingers. Gods she was wet.

“Inuyasha…..”

Heather moaned out as he finally slid into her and started thrusting at a slow pace only to speed up grasping her hips with his clawed fingers.

A long tongue flicked at her lips willing them to open as he slid his tongue into her mouth and entwined them in hot open mouthed never ending kisses.

Heather thought she would die and go to heaven in this man’s arms right at that moment. Taking off the glasses Inuyasha continued only wanting to feel his soon to be mate this time.

After making love to Heather there was something he had to ask.

“Heather, who is making you lie to me? I know you can see Heather, you can’t fool a blind man.”

Heather stopped and looked at Inuyasha in shock.

“I can’t…………”

Inuyasha pulled out of Heather and sat on the end of the bed.

“We can’t base a relationship like ours on a lie. I promise I will help you if you are in trouble, but tell me how long do you plan to continue pretending to be in love with me?”

Heather started to cry.

“I am in love with you….that isn’t a lie.”

Inuyasha then pulled at Heather to get her into his arms.

“Then tell me at least what is at stake. I can protect you. I may be blind, but I am loyal and strong. My family is powerful. We know how to protect what is ours.”

Heather just knew if she told him that her daughter would be killed. They were watching her.

“I can’t tell you……I can’t I am sorry.”

Inuyasha got up and got dressed.

“I am too sweetheart. I was hoping this would work out for us. I will let my family know that the mating is off. If I can’t know the truth from you then I will find it out on my own.”

Inuyasha’s face was cold and indifferent as Heather cried begging him not to leave.

“I am being watched! I can’t tell you or they will kill her! If you do not stay engaged to me they will kill us both! Please I beg you……….don’t go………..”

Heather finally broke down begging Inuyasha to stay.

Inuyasha looked at the woman he had indeed fallen for even if she was lying to him. Bending down he held her face.

“I wouldn’t let them do that if I knew who they were. You think whomever they are holding is still alive? If she is a half demon like you I guarantee she is dead and you will be next. These creatures that have been after my family I believe are after hanyou’s still since Naraku’s influence still exists.”

Heather frowned.

“I don’t know who this Naraku is……..oh God…….you don’t think they would have killed my daughter………they promised……..if I did what they said…….”

Inuyasha stiffened.

“You have a child?”

Heather sobbed.

“Yes……..they killed my mate and I have been enslaved for years. They took my daughter, my only child…..I can’t tell you who. They put a spell on me so that I can’t reveal them to you. I can’t even describe them.”

Inuyasha looked down at Heather and wanted to consol her, but he couldn’t. Her daughter was definitely dead. He could feel it.

“Your mate was a human, demon, or half demon?”

Heather sat sobbing and answered her beloved quietly.

“He was human.”

Inuyasha looked at Heather pulling her face to his own.

“Was she conceived on your human night?”

Heather cried even harder.

“Yes…….”

Damn it. If she had been a half demon Heather’s daughter might have had some kind of a fighting chance, but with no powers to defend herself with……

“We may be able to revive her if her body has not been destroyed. Heather, no matter what happens you stay by me and I want you to be seen by our family physician. If there is any plan on killing you it might have been inputted into the spell itself although I smell no poison on you. I also stay with my brother and family when I am human. I will have to tell the family about this. I have no choice. Believe me most of them already know you are not blind. They have been around me too long to not know.”

Heather felt like she was going to be ill.

“Oh God no…….I can’t do this. If she is dead, just kill me. Have some mercy even though I know I am a lying bitch…..”

Inuyasha grasped her hard by the shoulders.

“Were you not listening woman? I still love you. You were tricked and terribly. I forgave you already and there may still be a chance we can save your child.’
“I know my brother will be very pissed, but I can handle him. If he knows that you have been tricked at least he will have the sense to understand why I didn’t do you in and why I am still going to mate you if you want me to.”

Heather grabbed Inuyasha holding him tightly.

“You would forgive me? You would still love me? I don’t deserve it though.”

Inuyasha kissed Heather caressing her face wiping off the tears.

“Everyone deserves love except those bastards that hurt you and are trying to hurt my family. I will hunt them down since they are after my family and you. You are going to be a Tashio Heather Dalton. I promise since you are the first person since Kagome, Kouga, and Sesshoumaru that I have fallen in love with. I just always seem to find the damsels in distress.”

Inuyasha smiled and Heather leaned into him for support.

“So can we start over? I want you to know me, as Heather and not as the person I was forced to pretend to be although I still love helping blind children. My Mother was blind so I promised I would finish her work after she died. My Father left us after I was conceived since fox demons tend to bounce around before finding a true mate although he was also part wolf demon.”

Inuyasha frowned and thought about his Father.

“I am sure he would have come back to get to know you if he could have.”

Heather’s cell phone rang and Inuyasha looked at it.

“Is that them?”

Heather shook her head no.

“It is just my cousin Elizabeth.”

Inuyasha’s eyes went wide.

“Did you say Elizabeth? Does she have dark red hair and green eyes?”

Heather smiled.

“She is a full wolf demon. Her parents were Ayame and Dakota Wolf. I would have had the same last name since my Uncle was my Father’s brother. They raised me, but were killed in an accident.”

Inuyasha frowned growling.

“Heather, your Aunt and Uncle were murdered by these same people who are after our family. I knew them both very well. Kouga is Dakota’s cousin.’
“Is Elizabeth connected to this? Do these people know of her?”

Heather didn’t ever think of that.

“I doubt it. She travels a lot and is rarely in the same place for long. I doubt they could keep up with her. It is hard enough for my family to keep up.”

Kouga was told about Elizabeth by his Father. There was though no way in hell Kouga was going to mate her if Inuyasha mated Heather. It would be against all the mating rites and who would care for Kagome?

“Heather don’t answer it. If you love your cousin keep away from your family for now. Just until we catch these bastards.’
“Is your cousin mated?”

Heather laughed.

“No, she doesn’t have time for that. Besides, she is too young to mate anyone.”

Inuyasha sighed in relief. Perhaps for once his old man was wrong.

“Get dressed. We are going to my home and give me your phone.”

Heather did so and Inuyasha crushed it.

“You have to stay away from all communication devices until we find out what is going on. I am going to have to postpone our true mating although we will play along to see if we can pull our foes out from hiding. You will keep doing as you are except we shall make it as though you are moving in with me.”

Heather got dressed and suddenly her head started to hurt. Inuyasha caught her before she collapsed onto the floor. The door was swung open as Bankotsu blasted the door open with his halberd Bonreou.

“Hello Inuyasha. Long time no see.”
