Golden Eyes

Mirage decided that morning sucked rocks as she laid her head on the edge of the cool toilet bowl while she sweated waiting for another stomach heaving moment. Morning sickness was terrible and she did not like that part of being pregnant.

“Honey are you ok?”

Sesshoumaru asked in concern.

“Ya, I just think my spleen is gone and my pancreas. I am waiting for my lungs to join them.”

Sesshoumaru came into the bathroom as he helped his wife into the shower and helped her brush her teeth. It was difficult on women to have such suffering although the joy of the gifts they were given were well worth the discomforts.

“This will not last forever my dearest.”

Mirage sighed as Sesshoumaru washed her long hair. He was such a doting husband and so sweet. Still, her stomach was not going to listen to him as she ended up back at the porcelain god losing whatever was left in her poor stomach.

“Can I just die now?”

Mirage stated as Sesshoumaru once again helped his wife to clean up and carried her in his arms to the bedroom. There she was tucked into bed and given some medicine from the doctor to help her rest as Sesshoumaru held her gently.

“No, you may not.”

Sesshoumaru stated softly since he had almost lost her more times then he wanted to recall.

“I didn’t mean it like that babe.”

Mirage stated grumpily as Sesshoumaru chuckled.

“I know that dear. Now go to sleep my silly little wife before you become ill again.”

Mirage just nodded dozing off into slumber as she snored softly against her beloved husband.

Inuyasha came into the room with Kouga knowing that Sesshoumaru was not asleep.

“Um………sorry to bug you guys, but we have decided that Inuyasha is going to be the one to find our female. I am going to marry Kagome since Inuyasha has been given the special treatment for years and I am apparently taking too long in finding a wife for myself.”

Kouga stated as Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes. His male mates came in to bother him for this nonsense?

“Just one of you choose a tolerable female please. I don’t care who, just get it done.”

Inuyasha smirked.

“I think I found one.”

Sesshoumaru looked surprised and then frowned.

“She isn’t just like you two is she?”

Both males shook their heads no.

“Nah, she isn’t anything like us. She is a bit more like you.”

Sesshoumaru huffed.

“That will be for me to decide. I highly doubt she is anything like me. To you two, anything like me is some anal retentive bitch……”

Kouga smiled.

“She is……”

Inuyasha growled.

“Heather ain’t like that you ass….”

“She is too….”

“Is not….you moron….”

“She is too ya mutt faced idiot…..”

“Look just because Heather didn’t kiss your ass or fall all over you don’t mean she is anal retentive. She is just serious………oh and Sess she is permanently blind like me. Heather Danton is a beautiful kind woman who won my heart when she came in to do donations for the blind. She has strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. She really is exactly the opposite of Kouga with a personality similar to you Sesshoumaru. But she ain’t the same ya wimpy ass wolf.’
“I really want everyone to meet her. I swear Sess, you will love her. She is a real looker and is really responsible so I know you will just…..well…….I just really want you to meet her. Kagome loves her and so does Sango. Miroku can barely keep his hands to himself around our women, but this one is much like your Mirage. She really is one of a kind and I want to help her like you have helped me out my love. Please, as soon as you get a moment come out and meet her.”

Sesshoumaru looked down at his sleeping wife. He didn’t want to move, but this was important. He didn’t want Inuyasha just jumping into a mating with some girl he didn’t know and of course Inuyasha was already in love with the child. Knowing their luck she was probably a human.

“What kind of demon is she?”

Sesshoumaru stated getting dressed.

“She is a half demon, but like the rest of them she thinks she is human.”

“So she doesn’t know our mating rituals yet and so you will have to trick her. I see. What about our relationships Inuyasha?”

Inuyasha smiled wide.

“She is a kinky little thing so she is all for what we do. I also already let her onto what she is, but she still thinks I am being crazy about the demon stuff although she thinks it is cute that I think I am an immortal.”

Sesshoumaru smiled letting his fangs show.

“She can’t see us Inuyasha so of course she is going to think that we are just playing vampire although we are not. Her blood once you awaken it will let her know and be aware we are not immortal. We can die; it is just difficult to kill us unlike vampires which can be killed by beheading. They are still technically possessed humans.”

Kouga ran his hand behind his head.

“So you don’t mind that I didn’t pick the female?”

Sesshoumaru looked daggers at Kouga.

“You did, I won, get over it.”

Kouga shrugged.

“So when we gonna……….”

Sesshoumaru growled.

“After the pup is born we shall see Kouga. Be content in having Kagome for a while. Inuyasha had no complaints for years and he is sacrificing much for your happiness so you do not have to look. I am just pleased he found someone so quickly.”

Sesshoumaru kissed his wife and ushered everyone out so Mirage could sleep peacefully. He didn’t wish to take long with this new female though since he had no intention on sharing females. He had one and that was enough.

When he went into the living room he was introduced to a beautiful young woman who was chatting with Kagome a mile a minute. She was much more like Kagome if anyone were to ask. No wonder Inuyasha fell for her. The girl was perfect for him.

“She is like Kagome Inuyasha. Not like me. I approve, but have no interest in her whatsoever although you have my blessing. I will mark her when you are done. Now let’s get this over with, I have a wife I would like to spend time with.”

Kouga was surprised that Sesshoumaru’s tongue wasn’t hanging out of his mouth like his was. Heather was as close to Mirage in looks as you could get, but he dismissed her. It seemed odd, but then Kouga shrugged. Mirage had been rather special and Sesshoumaru was in love. He couldn’t see past his wife and that was fine. Kouga might have been the same way if he was in Sesshoumaru’s shoes and in some ways wondered if his envy was only because he couldn’t have what he wanted.

“Heather, I want you to meet my mate and big brother Sesshoumaru.”

Heather couldn’t see so she never watched the series on TV and could care less about cartoons. Her main interests were around caring for blind children and other philanthropist movements around caring for blind people like herself.

“How do you do?’

Heather stated formally as Sesshoumaru gently kissed her hand.

“Very well. It is a pleasure to meet you. As I stated to Inuyasha, I approve and wish you both the best. My wife is quite pregnant and I apologize for such a brief meeting, but I must adjourn.”

Heather blushed at the soft baritone voice that sounded so damn sexy and from what Inuyasha boasted the guy was a walking sex god.

Inuyasha let Heather borrow his virtual glasses for a moment hoping they would work.

“Wow, these things are great and wow…………”

Heather watched as Sesshoumaru left the room looking back with a soft smile.

He was so damn hot. Then she looked at the others including her fiancé. Inuyasha was everything she thought he would be and more.

“Can I get a pair of these for all blind people including myself?”

Inuyasha sighed shaking his head no.

“The rest were tampered with so we are trying to come up with new things although you can have them. I have microchips, but they sometimes don’t work so we are still trying to perfect things. As you can tell there is a delay on the glasses so the digital input isn’t as clear as it should be. I can’t wear them all day long, only for a few hours.”

Heather smiled at the glasses and kissed Inuyasha for all he was worth.

“These are a miracle. Do you know how many people would give their left arm for something like this?”

Inuyasha ran his hand behind his head.

“Um....my brother once lost his left arm to me so maybe a different reference is in order, still, like I said the plans were destroyed along with the glasses. So far we are still unsure how many demon haters there are so all this stuff is just between family until we are able to insure the safety of patients who receive these things. As far as anyone needs to know you are just wearing sun glasses honey. I don’t want you to get caught up in them. I almost completely lost my eyes to the sabotage that was going on.”

Heather sighed. It was too bad this was happening to the Tashio’s. She had read the news about them on the internet with her brail keyboard, but hadn’t known them personally until now. It had to be rough to be in such power and yet the comforts had to be worth it otherwise why would people bother?

“Perhaps I should let you have these back then…..well until you get them perfected.”

Inuyasha shook his head no as he pushed the glasses back to his beloved.

“No, you keep them…..as a gift to you. They are safe, I promise. Just don’t lose them since they are the last pair.”

Heather nodded and held them like they were a dear treasure before putting them on. Inuyasha kissed her and held her hand as they visited on the couch. He hadn’t been this happy in a long time although he loved Kagome more than his life. Heather understood that though and accepted the fact that Kagome would always be first in Inuyasha’s life although she would be treated as an equal in the family after everyone got to know her.

Kagome really liked Heather and wanted to involve her in her and Sango’s play. It was really nice for her to meet another bisexual woman who accepted their lifestyles. Of course it would be difficult for Heather to keep her hands off of Mirage, but that would be explained later. Inuyasha already warned of Sesshoumaru’s anal attitude toward anyone getting too close to his wife especially now while she was pregnant with his heir.

It was too bad Mirage wasn’t bisexual like the rest of them, but that too would be explained to Heather. Heather seemed to be quite understanding and he hoped that she would not push things since that could end their relationship before it began.

At that moment a knock came on the door and Inuyasha was surprised at who was there. Ripley Worthington had arrived with flowers in hand and a rather somber look upon his face.

“I am here to see Lord Sesshoumaru and his wife. I need to make amends and there are some problems I must discuss with him immediately.”

Lord Worthington needed help. Half demons and the demons who accepted them were still being attacked by hordes of lower demons and he was unable to keep up with the numbers on his own. He needed to enlist the aid of his old allies otherwise all would be lost.
