Before I die
by Goijh
A/n:
Okay I know that I usually answer all my new reviews and stuff before I go on to the chapter but I have a very short time limit on my shoulders... ^_^ I may be updating erraticly for a while due to the fact that I got myself in BIG truoble and am grounded. *prays for the day when she's 18* lol!
Anyway, here's the next chapter, sorry if its not theatesatest. I know that I said that the stalker would be someone else but due to some responses (aka flames) that I recieved on other websites and due to previous material in chapters 3 and 4 I had to change it to Kouga.
Sorry if this chapter isn't the greatest and if there's not nearly as much...well whatever you like about this story...as there usually is. The past few days have just been kinda down...

"Urgh...my head." Kagome groaned as she tried to sit up. With a hiss ofn shn she immediately gave up on that idea. Her head was pounding worse than a migraine. She ceased all stirring as a wave of nausea washed over her.
She lay there and waited for the sensation to pass. She was NOT keen on puking when she could barely move and had no idea where she was. Thankfully Kami answered her prayers and the wave quickly left her without any unwanted side-affects.
Groaning in pain once again, Kagome slowly began to prop herself up, taking her time to avoid any more nausea or unnecessary pain. And she REALLY took her time. Almost three minutes later, Kagome had propped herself up on her elbows, a task that would take a normal person five seconds, MAX
Her posistion was definately not beneficial to her headache, but she was desperate to see her surroundings. 'What happened?' she strained her memory to figure out how exactly she had gotten to be, well, wherever she was.
Kagome peered into the darkness, but that was all she saw, nothing. A sinking feeling began to form in the pit of her stomache. Franticly she squinted into the distance, or at least she thought it was. She spun her head around and suddenly remembered the throbbing pain in her temples. Another wave of nausea overtook her.
This time she didn't wait for it to pass though. Panic rising in her throat, Kagome raised a hand to her face, shakily balancing on her other arm. She waved it around violently in front of her, but all she could see was a boundless expanse of...black. "Oh Kami-sama!" she cried out, "I'm blind?!?"
The panic that had risen in her throat overcame her. Kagome's pain and sickness were soon forgotten as her instinct to run to safety kicked in. Tears were threatening to spill as she tried to stand. Her legs wouldn't move! They weren't responding. With no time for hesitation, she reached a hand out and grasped her limbs. Her hand sent a sensation to her brain telling her that her legs were in fact there, but her legs felt nothing. She couldn't feel her legs!
The threatening tears were now running freely down her cheeks as she tried to pull herself across the ground or floor or whatever she was on. SHE COULDN"T TELL! Any rational thought that she could've had was banished by the realization that she was blind and paralyzed. All she knew was that she had to get away-NOW! But she had no idea if she was even attempting to drag herself in the right direction.
And the pain... it was returning. She had only managed to pull herself about a foot or two from where she had been when she began to feel weak. Her body began to tremble from the exertion. The pain was so sharp, so intense, it was blinding all of her other senses.
She tried to make on last valiant attempt to pull herself away, but it was all too much. With on last gasp and a scream of agony, Kagome collapsed, unconcious.

"Sango, I know that you think that I'm a lecherous hentai...and I AM!" declared a very serious Miroku as he knelt before a rather, um, not Sango tree. 'No that's not right,' he mumbled as he looked down. The pensive look that had come over the houshi's face was quickly erased a moment later as a candle flame (Feudal Japan here! No Lightbulbs yet!) flickered over his head. "Aha!" he exclaimed jumping to his feet.
Quickly he resumed his kneeling posistion before the tree once again and put on his best puppy dog eyes. "Sango, you are a very beautiful woman, albeit a bit masculine, but I am willing to overlook that as you have such ample breast and a plump, yet firm, derriere." Miroku grinned sheepishly as he rubbed the sore spot on the back of his head. 'Somehow I don't think that that's the kind of flattery I need to cnce nce her.' He thought as he chuckled quietly. 'Oh, well. Third time's the charm!'
Miroku shifted his wait so that he was only kneeling on one knee this time, and replaced the puppy eyes with a sincere smile.
"Sango," he began smoothly. "You are the most beautiful person, inside and out, that I have ever met. I know that you think me a lecherous pervert without propriety, and you are right. But if you would have me, I'd be willing to change and sacrifice anything for you. So it is now that I make my simple request, putting my heart, body, and soul, at your mercy." Miroku stood and grasped a tree limb as if it were a hand, not noticing the distraught hanyou who had just entered the clearing.
"Will you bear my child..." SNAP! "INUYASHA?!?" Miroku looked up from the branch at the sound of the breaking twig to see amber eyes flash red before him. The houshi began to back away nervously with his hands gesturing wildly in front of him.
"No wait Inuyasha! You don't understand!" He cried out. "I was rehearsing to ask Sango to bear my child when you startled me! I didn't mean to ask YOU!" The monk feverishly tried to explain. Inuyasha let out a feral growl.
"NOT of course that I don't want you to bear my child!" Miroku cried desperately as the hanyou's eyes flashed again. "I just don't think that your reproductive system could do that!" Inuyasha growled again and continued to encroach upon the monk.
"But I'm not saying that you couldn't handle it you know! I mean you're really strong and merciful and forgiving, did I mention merciful? I know that YOU could handle pregnancy but--"
Inuyasha clamped a clawed hand over the monk's mouth. He was having a hard enough time controlling his youkai said WITHOUT Miroku's help. "Shut the hell up baka!" he snarled. "Someone kidnapped Kagome and I need your help to find her!"
Miroku silenced and nodded docilely. Inuyasha hurriedly explained to him what had happened, ommiting the parts about Kagome's confession and why he happened to be his his guard. Miroku immediately sobered as he heard the hanyou out. The abductor had used special herbs to mask their scent and confuse Inuyasha's senses. He saw his friends distress and anguish and knew that this was taking a large emotional toll upon the hanyou. "Of course!" he quickly agreed. "But first we need to go and get the others. They're back that ---"
Inuyasha didn'therther to wait for him to finish. He took off and left the monk behind to catch up on his own. "Normally when one asks for another's help on TAKES the other with him!" He muttered as he began the short trek back to camp.
****************************************
Kagome could feel two hands lifting her head a bit. She shivered a little as water trickled down her chin from the corners of her mouth as the owner of the hands forced her to drink. She turned her head away from the hands and thankfully felt no pain.
The miko didn't even bother to open her eyes. She knew who her abductor was without needing to see him, though not that she thought she could.
Kagome tried to move away, but her legs still wouldn't respond. She allowed one tear to slide down her cheek. A clawed hand gently wiped it away. "Sister, do not cry," the wolf whispered soothingly to her. Kagome's depression faded at those words. Obviously this was not the wolf that she thought it was.
"Where's that bastard Kouga?!?" She yelled, finding renewtrentrength in her arms as she forced herself to sit up. The wolf jumped bak as if burned. He had not expected this kind of reaction from her. Even though he already knew it was true and had seen proof of such, he found himself thinking, 'Obviously this is no ordinary ningen.'
She had stopped yelling for a moment. He noticed that her eyes were now open but they stared straight ahead. He was not stupid. He knew why she didn't look at him. He crept closer to support her and moved Kagome against a nearby wall so that she would not strain her body too much. She was still recovering from the side effects of the drug Kouga had forced on her.
"Well?!?" she demanded in a slightly lower voice. "I know that he was the one that kidnapped me and I know that he's here somewhere! Tell him to get his wimpy ass in here so that I can give him a piece of my mind." She yelled, her voice getting louder towards the end as she borrowed some language from, Guess who! She was trembling with rage now.Kouga had no right to steal her away from her friends again and she needed to know what he had done to her.
"Kouga-sama told Ginta to watch you for a while as he had to go away and hunt. He is not here now but will be soon." the wolf next to her said. Kagome raised her unseeing eyes to the where to the voice was coming from. "What?!? HE kidnapped ME and then he's not even here when I wake up?!?" she cried out. Ginta's sensitive ears flinched at the noise.
A worried frown crossed his features. "Kouga-sama has not been acting normally these past few weeks. There is something different about him. He is not the same wolf that I have always served. But he is still our leader and we must do as he says. He has told me to help you until he gets back and to make sure you recover from the side effects of the drug." Ginta said quietly.
Kagome had opened her mouth to yell at him some more but she heard Ginta sigh heavily. 'What? Does he really not want to do this? Could it be that something is wrong wiougaouga and its affecting his pack?' She almost wished she could see Ginta's face so that she could tell that he was as sincere as he sounded. Then-"WAIT A MINUTE! What do you mean drug?!? You drugged me!"
Ginta jumped back abruptly. Talk about mood swings. Less than five seconds ago he could smell the uncertainty and sympathy washing off of her in waves and now this?!? "I didn't give you any drug sister." He told her as calmly as he could though his ears were still flinching. "Kouga gave you a certain concoction that would drain your strength and keep you restrained until he returned. That is why you're legs and eyes are not working." He sat back down hesitantly. "Though I can see that your vocal cords are just fine,' he muttered a bit grudgingly.
Kagome felt a little guilty. She could tell now that Ginta really didn't like the way that things were going. She heard the disgust in his voice as he explained to her about the drug. She cou't h't help but smile a little when he muttered about her yelling. At least she would be able to get along with him just fine. "So when should my eyesight and mobility return?" she asked making sure to keep her voice soft so that she wouldn't hurt his hearing anymore.
Ginta sighed. For the moment the ningen was calm again. "I am not quite sure little sister." he replied. "Kouga-sama only said that it would wear off within a little while. Maybe a day or so." Kagome st at at the wall thoughfully. Ginta could feel the pity welling up in him as he thought about how she couldn't even see the wall in front of her. He felt a pang of resentment towards his leader for a moment and immediatly after hung his head in shame. He should not be thinking that way about Kouga. 'Still,' he thought wistfully, 'I can't help but think that this has something to do with that Naraku Kouga-sama ran into...'
When he looked back over at his charge, Ginta found that she had fallen asleep against the wall. Carefully he picked her up bridal style and brought her over to a pile of skins in the corner. He laid her down gently so that she could rest. She would be needing all of her strength when Kouga returned.
************************************
Inuyasha paced back and forth angrily. He had never felt so helpless. Those stupid plants that had been used masked any of the scents that would normally help him find Kagome or at least her abductor. "Achoo!" He sneezed loudly. It was not his sneeze that said that someone was talking about him though. It was an actual "I've got a cold" sneeze. "Dammit!" he yelled, swiping his claws across a nearby tree. (Timber!)
Sango and Miroku looked up at him. They both wore worried frowns across their faces. Even Kiarara looked a bit disturbed as she changed into her kitten form and rubbed against the hanyou's leg in an act of comfort. "Don't worry Inuyasha." Sango told him, "I'm sure we'll find Kagome soon. We just need to look around a little but more." Miroku could only nod. For once he was not even tempted to grope Sango as she bent over in front of him to prod at the soil.
Inuyasha had left Miroku to explain to Sango and Kiarara what had happened and had himself taken Shippo aside to inform him of his 'okaasan's' disappearance. The kitsune had sprung a leak in his arms and clung to him relentlessly as Inuyasha carried him to Kaede's village. He left Shippo with the old woman and had promised him and himself that he would find Kagome and bring her safely back.
That had been over 24 hours ago and still they had not found a single sign that could help them. 'This is not how its supposed to be...' thought Inuyasha as he began to pace again. 'She was telling me....she cared for me. She actually cares for me. And I let her down. I LET her get kidnapped.' "Aargh!" Inuyasha clawed down another tree in frustration. "This is getting us no where!" he yelled, though he wasn't really addressing anyone in particular. Miroku and Sango exchanged glances but decided not to say anything.
Inuyasha was about to slice and dice another helpless, unsuspecting tree, when he smelled a familiar youkai coming towards him. "What the hell does that wimpy wolf want now?" he yelled as he whirled to face in the direction that Kouga was coming from. As the wolf approached using his awesome speed, Inuyasha caught another all to familiar scent. "Kagome!" he hollered.
Inuyasha rushed at the youkai, leaving a very confused Miroku and Sango behind. "Kouga you bastard! What have you done with Kagome?!?" the hanyou demanded as he stopped before the wolf. Kouga glared at him. And laughed.
Still laughing he began to use his shard enchanced speed to run in circles around Inuyasha, forming a barrier of strong air currents around them. He continued to race around the hanyou as he shouted to him, "Kagome is mine! She has always been mine. You are the one thing that stops her from loving me, but not anymore." The youkai laughed evilly again.
Inuyasha was losing his patience. "What the hell are you talking about you scum bag. You think that you can kill me? Ha! I'd love to see you try." Kouga suddenly leapt into the ring that he had created, but the wind currents kept up arund them. "I know that I can kill you insolent puppy! Lord Naraku has helped me to make sure of that. But I am not going to kill you, you're not worth the exertion." With those last words Kouga left the circle, running off once again but this time running in victory.
"Come and try to get me Inuyasha! I shall enjoy watching my pack destroy you in front of Kagome. You will see, she is MINE now! You lose!" Inuyasha could only stand there. Partially because the wind barrier around him, partailly because he could not believe what had happened. Kouga had come, trapped him, and left without a fight! Finally the wind currents began to die down. Inuyasha pulled out the Tetsusaiga and sliced throught them effortlessly. His eyes were a steady red now as he gripped the Tetsusaiga with both hands so tightly that his knuckles were white.
By this time, Miroku and Sango had found him. They had gotten there just in time to see Kouga run off and hear his parting words to Inuyasha. They watched in shock as their friend sliced through Kouga's wind cage and stood, fighting a desperate battle with his youkai insticts. They had assumed that it was Kouga who had kidnapped Kagome, he was the only one who could be fast enough to get past Inuyasha without allowing the hanyou a glimpse. But that he was in league with Naraku now? That left them speechless.
Finally Inuyasha gained control of his instincts and turned to his friends. Not a word passed between them, but they came to an immediate understanding. Without hesitating one moment longer they all left simultaneously, chasing after the Wolf Prince.
********************************************
Kouga returned to his den, still maniacly laughing. He knew that the dog-turd was not long behind him. Maybe only an hour or two. He couldn't wait for him to come so that he could destroy him in front of Kagome. That would teach her to call for the hanyou ever again. Kouga's eyes flashed for a moment, going from glazey and trance-like in appearence, to his normally steely blue. Mortified he hung his head, how could he be thinking like that about his precious Kagome. He knew that she didn't love him, but he only wanted her to be happy. What was happening to him?
Before he could have anymore sympathetic thoughts towards the girl though, he felt a sharp pain in his left calf and let out a his, doubling over. When he stood back up, his eyes had returned to their corrupted look. Naraku was once again in control of his newest toy.
Growling ferally at any of his pack who met his eyes or tried to approach him, the wolf leader made his way to the back of the cave where his quarters were housed. He entered silently to see Ginta washing Kagome's face. Jealousy took over the wolf and he jumped at his follower, holding him in a submission bite. How dare he touch HIS woman! Ginta went limp and as soon as Kouga dropped him, scurried away quickly, sparing one last pitying glance over his shoulder at the miko.
******************************************
Kagome awoke to find that she was sleeping on a pile of soft skins. Instictivley her eyes flew open. She gasped and blinked repeatedly at what occurred. She could actually see! The effects of the drug were wearing off and her sight was returning. Gigglig out of pure joy she held a hand up in front of her eyes. She could make out the blurred form of five peachy colored objects wriggling in front of her! Her fingers! She squealed like a little girl at Christmas at the discovery.
She put down her hand and hesitantly let her eyes fall upon her legs. They were farther away so they were a little harder to make out as her eyes were only just beginning to work. She could still make out two distinctive forms though and a bit of green from her school skirt. Nervous as to what the outcome would be, she tried to move her leg. 'Oh my god!' she almost screamed aloud as her leg twitched in response. She could feel her leg! Mentally she did a little happy dance. Ginta hadn't been lying after all, the effects of the drug weren't permanent. Never could she remember being this happy!
'Ginta!' The name sprung to mind. She had almost forgotten about him. She wasn't positive, but she was pretty sure that it had been a while since she had talked to him last. "Ginta?" she called out quietly, straining to keep the excitement from her voice. Almost immediatley an obscured figure began to make its way towards her. "Oh, Kagome-sama, you are awake." Ginta paused to sniff the air, it was thick with her pleasure. The scent was almost sa intoxicating as that of her heat aroma.
Quickly he stopped moving towards her and crouched down where he was. He didn't want to accidently do anything that would anger his leader. It almost completely passed over him that when he stopped, a look of confusion crossed the ningen's face. Almost. "Oh Kagome!" he yelped jumping ot his feet and rushing over to her. "Your eyesight has returned!" Kagome couldn't say anything. In fact all she could do was grin widely and nod her head like a baka.
Upon seeing her confirmation, Ginta's face broke into a grin almost as wide as her own. He had hated seeing the girl so distressed and had been worried himself that the inflictions would be permanent. Their mutual joy was quickly interepted by a very loud rumbing. Two sets of surprised eyes fell to Kagome's stomache as the embarressing noise continued. Kagome felt her cheeks burning as Ginta broke out laughing when he realized what the noise was coming from. "You just wait here. I will bring you some food!" he cried happily, and then he ran away.
At his words Kagome's joy was diminished a little. She really had no choice but to wait there. Her legs weren't responding well enough to even bend yet, let alone stand and walk. Plus her arms and for that matter, her entire boas sas screaming with fatigue. She thought that she might cry again as she remembered that she was a prisoner here and Kouga was under Naraku's control. Before she could let it get to her though, Ginta returned with meat that he had been thoughtful enough to cook for her.
"Arigato Ginta-kun!" She said as she reached for the food. His cheeks blushed a little at the use of the suffix but she didn't notice. Kagome tried to eat but found it very difficult to do while lying er ber back. A little embarressed she turned her head to the wolf who was watching her patiently. "Uh...Ginta, um..." Kagome didn't have to finish the question as the wolf realized what she was asking and picked her bridal style before she could protest. He carried her over to a few pillows that were propped against the wall in the far corner and helped her to sit.
Kagome smiled at how eager Ginta was to help her. He was almost like a little boy in that perspective. Once she was seated safely upon the pillows though, all thoughts of the wolf left her head as she divulged entirely in the meat she was eating. 'Mmmm! This is good!' she thought happily she completely forgot the meaning of the word manners, shoving as much of the food into her mouth at once as she could. (Now THAT'S a pretty picture! lol!)
She looked up to compliment her companion on his cooking when she saw his faced. It was screwed up in a mixture of amusement and confusion. Seeing him looking at her like that brought reality down upon her head with a bang as she realized how barbaricly she had been eating. Blushing furiously she turned her head away, refusing to meet his eyes. "I am SO sorry Ginta! I was just so --" He apology was cut short by deep laughter. Curiously she looked up to see Ginta laughing at her so hard that he almost had tears in his eyes. "It's quite okay sister Kagome. I completely understand. After all you have not eaten in over a day and a half!"
Kagome was a bit surprised that she had actually been in the cave that long. "Oh no!" she cried out without thinking. "Inuyasha and the others are going to be so worried about me! Especailly Shippo!" At her outburst, Ginta had stopped laughing. This was the realization that he had been hoping would not come, though he knew it was inevitable. Now was the time when he would have to explain to her that there was no way that she could ever see her friends again unless Kouga consented. But with his leader in his new state, the wolf found that idea highly unlikely.
He didn't want to tell her anything like that yet. Her face was a mess due to how she had been eating. He allowed himself a small smirk as he looked at her. "Kouga will be back very shortly." he said as he rose to his feet. "Your face is quite messy from eating, I shall return in one moment to help you clean up." With that he got up and left the room (what do you call a seperate chamber in a cave? Is there a specific term for it?)
Kagome's eyes fell to the floor. Her vision was rapidly clearing but things were still fuzzy around the edges. Sighing she decided to practice moving her legs so that she could try to escape as soon as possible. She attempted at bend her knees and was rewared when her legs formed a thirty degree angle. Kagome smiled sadly at this accomplishment. The earlier thrill of discovering that her legs and eyes worked was now drowning under the fact that Kouga would return momentarily and she would most likely not be able to escape then.
Ginta returned with a wet scrap of cloth to find the miko staring at her partially bent knees looking as if she wanted nothing in the world more than to freely cry at the moment. He felt sadness for her, but still couldn't help but smirk as he saw that her face was still smeared with grease from the meat. Silently he went over to her and began to gently wash her face. Then Kouga came in.
Kagome stared in shock and fear as she watched Kouga bite the back of Ginta's neck. She could barely keep herself from crying out in relief when he released the wolf of lesser status, but something inside of her told her that it would only make things worse if she said anything. She watched her companion hurry away, but she missed his last glance at her as her path of sight was suddenly obstructed by Kouga's face.
"Kouga-kun," Kagome began a little shakily. "What's wrong with you?" The wolf prince's face broke into a grin. "Why you are mate." he answered in an ominous whisper. "You are driving me crazy. Each day after you left with that stupid, worthless half breed, I thought only of you. I have long lusted after you, wanting nothing more than to make you mine. And now that day has come."
Kagome tried to turn her head away. She knew that she was too weak to keep him from doing anything. But she also knew that angering him would not help the matter either. "Kouga...I can't be your mate. You deserve better than me." shesperspered weakly, refusing to meet his eyes as he turned her head to face him. "Well, then." He said with a smile on his face that scared her more than she thought a smile should, "You should stop resisting and be thankful that I have chosen you."
With those words said he pushed his lips roughly against hers, forcing her into a bruising kiss. Kagome tried to struggle free from him but she was still to weak. She protested with anything but words though. She knew that if she said anything than he would just deepen the kiss. She stopped flailing. She would need to conserve her energy. She allowed Kouga to press painfully against her mouth, but refused to respond, even when his hands began to wander.
Kouga could smell the fear rising in her as his hands moved down her waist. The aroma was so arousing. It only made him want her more. Yet she would not respond. He pulled away momentarily to allow for a breath of air and looked down at his woman. Her c was was rising heavily but her eyes were dull, almost lifeless. He growled ferally. Her fear thickened in the air but her body didn't even flinch. Growing angry Kouga lifted her and all but slammed her into the wall as he once again, forced his lips upon hers.
He nipped at her bottom lip. He even sunk to the level of begging as he suckled her pouting lip, but still she would not respond. Kouga growled loudly against her mouth. This was not the way that he had wanted things to go but she was making him angry.
Kagome heard him growl but was determined. No matter what he did, she was not going to respond. She would make this as unpleasant and hard for him as she could. She was actually hoping that maybe her stubbornness would turn him off and he would leave her alone long enough for her to get her strength back. But then again, this was Kouga. He was either just as stubborn and persistant as she was, or was just plain thick-headed. For some reason she suspected the latter.
Kouga couldn't help it. He continued to growl maliciously, ordering her to open her mouth, but the damn girl would not respond. Even when he bit her lips, almost hard enough to draw blood, she did nothing. This game was quickly growing tiring to him. He had never wanted it to be like this, but she was leaving him no choice. While part of him was yelling tst sst stop and leave her alone, she didn't want this; the other half of him was demanding the she yeild to him and cooperate, no matter what he had to do to make her comply. Needless to say, the second half was winning.
Kouga pressed her firmly against the wall with one hand, while he let the other come up to her chest. He began to roughly knead her breast with his claws, tearing her shirt in the process. He didn't care if he hurt her. That was in fact now his goal. He would do anything short of killing her to make her respond.
Kagome winced in pain as his claws tore at her tender flesh, but still she refused to yield to him. This was the only thing that she had say in, and she was going to make sure that he knew that none of her wanted this. As he tried to force his tongue into her mouth, she gritted down her teeth, barring the entrance.
Kouga first half (from w paw paragraphs up!) was beginning to gain ground in the war that was raging internally. Kouga began to back away a little. He moved his hands back to her shoulders, but he did not stop raping her lips. He knew that this was not pleasant for either of them, and he wished more than anything that he could stop, but for some reason he couldn't.
It took every fiber in Kagome's body to not sigh in relief when Kouga moved his clawed hands back to her shoulders. It took all those fibers again not to whimper out in pain when he continued to assualt her mouth, more butally than before. She was beginning to get the impression that he did not want to be doing this. She couldn't understand why he was if that was the case. Kagome didn't know what could possibly be forcing the youkai to do this.
Suddenly he leapt back. The miko allowed herself a single gasp in surprise as she stared at him. Maybe her eyes had just improved in those few moments, but it seemed to her that Kouga's eyes were suddenly clearer.
The wolf turned and looked at the woman that he had intended to make his mate. He saw her fear all over her face. He saw bruises already forming on her jaw. He couldn't stop the horror though that crossed his already mortified face as he saw her chest. Blood was slowly seeping through her practicly destroyed top from the many shallow wounds his claws had created. He couldn't bear to look at her anymore, knowing that she must be in great pain and it was all his fault. Turning he ran from her before Naraku could take control of his body once again. He fled the room before she could react, only pausing long enough to apologize, "I am so sorry Kagome...I never wanted this to happen..." before he ran again. But not before Kagome saw the tainted shard in his left calf.
Kouga had intended to run deep into the forest, to get far away from Kagome so that he wouldn't hurt her anymore, but as he tried to flee, he ran into one of the last people he wanted to see.ou wou wimpy wolf!" Inuyasha yelled as he glared daggers at Kouga. "What did you do to Kagome?!?" I can smell her all over you!"
Kouga lept up into the air, letting out his claws. His eyes clouded over and took on a dangerous glint. Inuyasha moved into a fighting stannd dnd drew his rusted sword. The blade immediately transformed into the Tetsusiaga, his father's fang. The opponents met each other's eyes and nodded. There would be no explaining. This was a fight to the death...
