Forced Mating

Kagome found herself sitting at the small table in the room she was going to have to share with Sesshomaru for the rest of her life eating lunch.  That morning nothing was said, but he did once again kiss her before he left the room.  That same tingling feeling on her lips lingered for a long time.  But so did that revulsion at the pit of her stomach at the thought of him kissing her.

 

But she did agree to the terms they came up with yesterday and last night.  Including acting like she does care for him when they are in front of Rin.  'I still wonder why she adores him like she does?  Though she is only a child and has no clue the monster that he can be.'  Her eyes shutting when in her head she heard his growls of pleasure mixing with her cries of pain.  The pain was lessened today, but she was still going to wait as long as she absolutely could, and still be sure that it is him and not his demon that she lets touch her again.  "Though I still don't understand the difference."

 

"Kagome!"

 

Jerking her head up the small brown haired girl, in her usual checkered kimono and bare feet burst into the room and ran straight for her, throwing her arms around the miko from behind.  "I am so happy that you and Lord Sesshomaru mated!  I really like you and I am glad I get to live with you now!"

 

Kagome only smiled as she placed her hands on the girls arms.  "Me too."

 

Jumping around to sit across from Kagome Rin was all smiles as her bright shiny eyes looked up at her.  "So how did you and Sesshomaru fall in love?"

 

Nearly choking on her food Kagome didn't know how to answer that question.  Because she wasn't really in love with Sesshomaru.  This whole thing was forced on her, but how could she tell this little girl who sees him as the best being in the world that he is nothing but a raping monster?  'I can't do that.  Even if i didn't agree to his terms I couldn't hurt her like that.  She clearly sees him as her everything.'  "I tell you what Rin.  Lets save that story for when you are a little bit older okay?"

 

"But why?"

 

"Becasue you are still a little girl.  All you need to concern yourself about is that we are and I am here to stay.  Okay?"

 

Rin jumped back out of her chair and hugged Kagome tight.  "And I am so happy for that!"  Then in barely a whisper she smiled.  "Lord Sesshomaru has seemed so lonely lately.  I am glad that he has someone more than me to help make him feel better."

 

"Feel better?"

 

"He seems so sad."  Then she smiled again and stepped back.  "But Lord Sesshomaru said I could go to the gardens after I came hers so he can pick up my training."

 

"Training?"

 

Nodding Rin tried to stand as tall as she could.  "That's right.  Lord Sesshomaru said that since I am his ward that I must be strong and able to defeat any enemy that I come across.  That knowing I can take care of myself will make him worry less about me."

 

With a smile Kagome stood.  'Worry?  Him?  Fat chance in hell.'  "That is good.  Then I won't have to worry about you either.  I always did you know.  From the first day that I met you."

 

Giggling Rin grabbed her hand.  "Come on then!  Come and watch as I train!"

 

Never able to say no to a child, let alone one as adorable and innocent as Rin Kagome let her drag her through the halls out to the gardens.  Their two guards on their heals.  Once out there she stopped and blinked.  Sesshomaru was standing there waiting for her.  It was the middle of summer, and by now was scorching hot, but she didn't expect to see him without his shirt on.

 

Taking a seat on a bench not that far away she watched as he pushed, but at the same time held back and showed her the drills and watched as she went through them, using her as her 'would be' opponent.  Her eyes took on a cloudy look as she focused on Sesshomaru.  His name meant Killing Perfection, and she had to admit he was good looking.  But would she really be able to willingly let him take her knowing that he already raped her?  Would she really be able to put on a front for Rin that she was in love with him?  'What have I gotten myself into?'

 

"What are you thinking?"

 

Jumping at the sound of his voice behind you Kagome ended up falling to the ground then half glared up at him.  "The sooner I can start sensing where you are the better for me.  That is the second time in less then a full day that you have scared the crap out of me."

 

"What were you thinking?"

 

Kagome's brown eyes darting down to Rin's large chocolate ones.  She smiled as she stood up.  "I was just thinking how happy I am to be here right now."

 

Sesshomaru did not miss the forcefulness of which she made that statement.  his eyes going down to Rin when she giggled and latched onto the miko's waist.  'Least she is doing as she said she would in front of Rin.'

 

"Me Lord."

 

Turning to see Jaken he glared.  "What?"

 

"Me Lord your mother is here.  Apparently she left not long after we did with Rin.  She is in your study and wishes to speak with you."

 

His eyes going to Kagome and seeing the fear in them he sighed.  "Go inform my mother that I will be escorting my mate and Rin to my room before I come to her."

 

"Yes Me Lord."

 

Going to them he scooped up Rin in one arm and wrapped the other around a very tense miko.  Though he was sure that she could not feel his emotions, he could feel hers.  She was scared.  And having just told her the night before that he did not know how his mother was going to react, she had right to be.  "The two of you will wait for me in our room."

 

"Okay."

 

"Rin looked from Sesshomaru to Kagome then back to Sesshomaru.  "Lord Sesshomaru why can't we go with you?  Lady Kimi was very nice to me when I stayed with her while you went to go get Kagome."

 

"Later."

 

"Yes Lord Sesshomaru."

 

Stopping at his door he let them go in the closed the door, their guards on either side of it and headed down the hall toward his study.  As he walked in he was met but a glare from his mother.  "What is it mother?"

 

"You told me you were going to claim your mate.  Not bring home a human miko!  Did you learn nothing from your father's actions?  It was a human and a hanyoukai that got him killed cause he was weakened by her.  I did not care about what happened to him.  No bond was ever made between us.  But I will not stand to lose my son the same way.  You will send her out of here before it can be made....................."

 

"It already was mother.  It was made official night before last.  If you smelled before you talked you would have known that."

 

Kimi glared.  "I will not lay claim to any pup she births.  My son's children or not they will not grace my halls and they will not call me grandmother.  I forbid it."

 

"Then it is forbade.  I was not the one who made this choice cause of my heart like Father did.  He let his lust and a human emotion rule him."

 

"I see the same thing going on here."

 

"I was not swayed by the batting eyes of this human female mother.  'He' was the one who chose her, not me."

 

"Either way.  YOu know how I feel on it and I will not falter."  Then she stormed past him and headed for the main palace doors with him following.  She did turn a glare on him just before she left.  "When she dies, and you go after her, I will not take in the pup.  It can die for all I care.  But I will come for Rin."  Then she stormed out.

 

With a sigh Sesshomaru turned and headed for his room.  'Damnit!'  But when he walked in and saw that Kagome already had paper and brush on the table with Rin, teaching her how to write her name he smiled a true smile that they would only be the two ever to see.  'Perhaps though this is a forced mating on both of us, it might not be as bad as I thought.  If she can give me a son and live, this would prove to be beneficial for everyone.'  His mind already weaving how he was going to make his hanyoukai son a match for anyone.  Human, Hanyoukai or Taiyoukai alike.
