He paced back and forth in his bed chambers once again. Two things were foremost on the Lord of the West's mind. First, Naraku had cast out his own human heart so that he couldn't be killed. Second, the attachment he had for the orphan child Rin was annoying him. What was she, a pup or...

'No! she's not a mate!' he railed against the thought. However, the more he thought it, the less he believed it. His shut tightly as he continue to struggle with the truth.

'It will end just like father!' he ranted. Then he continued to think for a moment until he realized that Inuyasha's mother was or noble blood. Sesshomaru's father couldn't keep her where he wanted to. Rin, on the other had, was an orphaned girl. Orphaned were seen as cursed by humans.

'If this Sesshomaru bites her then my aura will...' he stopped himself yet again. It needed to be her choice. He needed to talk to her and end this conflict of instincts before it drove him crazy. He didn't notice a pulse coming from the stump that was his left arm.

Rin was in the bath by herself. Hearing a sound, she turned and saw that her lord had joined her.

"This Sesshomaru wishes to speak to you." he began. and Rin smiled up at him. She didn't know why the way he talked amused her at times. He grabbed her around the middle and hauled her onto his lap. She looked up at him with a curious expression. He opened his mouth to speak, but the words weren't coming to him. He growled in frustration, something Rin had never heard from the stoic demon.

"M'lord?"

Sesshomaru stopped growling and Rin blushed feeling him nuzzling her under the neck. She shivered feeling his fangs grazing the surface of her skin. Rin bit her lip, was he asking what she thought he was asking her? Her mother had taught her about demon behavior before she died, but she had to be sure.

"Are you asking me what I think you're asking me?" she asked. In response, his gangs grazed a little harder against her skin making her shiver more. "I'll take that as a 'yes'."

"This Sesshomaru hesitated in asking you because once I mark you, my demonic aura will speed up your aging for physical bonding."

"Mating?"

"Yes, Mating. I would be robbing you of your childhood if I do bite you."

"I never had a childhood."

"Sesshomaru suppressed a growl of hatred for the humans that had abused her.

"You'd have me forever?"

"Yes."

"What about..."

"My hatred of my brother comes from the fact that my own birth was political." Sesshomaru quietly admitted. "A male does not reject the pups of his female. However, I shall be careful when mating you. I refuse to have any of my pups know the fowl name of Naraku."

Rin giggled, "I'll be m'lord's mate if he'll have me."

Sesshomaru's inner beast howled in pleasure. Two things happened all at once. First, Sesshomaru's fangs sank into Rin's skin. Second, a new arm grew out from where the old one had been hacked off. Sesshomaru licked the abused spot where he had bitten her and the wound closed leaving a crescent shaped mark on her neck. His eyes caught sight of his other arm, and the sword in the hand. He gently flexed the muscles of the new appendage to make sure it was his to command. Rin fell against him, having fallen into a state of sleep.

"Bakusaiga," he said to himself. With his right arm, he hoisted Rin out of the bath and got out himself. He dressed Rin and clothed himself and carried her back to his bed chambers. He could already feel the strain on his aura as it started to affect her body. Tucking her in, he kissed her on the check and ran his hand through his mate's hair. Now, no one could take her away from him.

"And if Naraku tries again," he growled lowly and swung the sword lightly, "I have a new blade for him to try." He exited the chamber and headed outside. He needed to test this sword.

He smiled with vicious satisfaction. The sword felt right, no, perfect. It seemed to be an extension of his being. He then felt that the strain of his aura was gone. He quickly launched himself back inside, blowing by Jaken and headed quickly for his bedroom.

Opening the door, he saw that she was still asleep. He turned back the covers to discover that her body had grown out of the kimono that she had been wearing. He growled seeing her soft, creamy legs. Putting his new sword beside Tenseiga, he laid beside the girl. His beast howled in pleasure feeling the swell of her breasts. The Lord of the West had a time in restraining himself. He reminded himself that the longer she slept, the longer he could mate her. Rin cuddled closer to him and Sesshomaru relaxed.

Rin opened her eyes a few moments later to the sight of her lord, no, mate looking at her. She then felt that she was no longer a child, but a full grown women. Sesshomaru lightly growled and gently took her hand and placed it on his doghood.

"My mate is perfect. This is what you do to your Sesshomaru." he purred. Run blushed feeling his hard doghood.

"I-I-I-I do that?"

In response, Sesshomaru ravenously kissed her. Rin squeaked out a moment in protest, but relaxed enjoying the new sensation. His hand crept under her kimono and she gasped as he started to play with her nub. Rind found herself grinding herself against his hand, wanting more of his touch. He pulled back, clip a couple of his claws, and his hand dove into her core, stretching her. She whimpered feeling him break her maidenhead. He pulled his hand back and licked the blood clean from his hand.

"That was the only time that this Sesshomaru will make you bleed." he quietly vowed. he gently rolled her onto her back, parted her kimono to reveal her body, stripped out of his on garb, and gently pushed the head of his doghood into her flower.

He had to take it slow as his girth was bigger than what a human female was built to take. He finally bottom out in her and held himself still. It felt strange to Rin to have such a large piece of flesh in her, but she enjoyed the oneness she felt with the penetration. He braced himself by digging into the furs that made the mattress and began to thrust.

Rin, somehow knowing what to do, wrapped her legs and him and the demon above her growled his approval. she gasped as the pleasure began to build. He leaned down and captured her lips again. His inner beast was howling in celebration. All those years of pent up sexual frustration and those times when he had locked himself away during his heat cycle now had an outlet.

Rin whimpered, then screamed out her pleasure which was music to Sesshomaru's ears as he buried himself one more time and came, spilling his seed deep within his mate. He laid there, his cock expanding to create a seal so that none of his seed would escape. She wasn't fertile enough yet, but this would tell every other demon that she belonged to him.

Rin's eyes rolled into the back of her head enjoying the fact that his doghood had gotten larger. He laid fully on top of her and held her.

"When we are out, you will wear more proper clothing, however, when you are with me in this room, you wear this." he said referring to the kimono and Rin giggled her response as she held her demonic lord.

"Lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken cried from behind the locked door, "That wind bitch Kagura is here and she claims that she has news about Naraku's whereabouts!"

Sesshomaru growled. If the bitch was deceiving him in order to trap him, then she would be killed on the spot. Slowly pulling from Rin's womanhood, he redressed.

"Dress yourself for travel, but don't come out. Stay inside while I deal with her."

"Yes, Lord..."

"Address me as just 'Sesshomaru'. You are my mate now."

"Ok, Sesshomaru," she said and the dog grinned before leaving with both his swords at his hip.
