A Royal Pain

Inuyasha followed his brother through the trees walking as close to him as possible since he was both naked and afraid.

“Inuyasha I can smell your fear. I am here little brother and nothing will get past my demonic aura unless they want to die.”

Inuyasha felt like a lost pup following his big brother as though his very life depended on it and felt confused at the fact Sesshoumaru had allowed him to have sex with him. It should have been the other way around, not that Inuyasha didn’t appreciate the sacrifice that his elder brother made on his behalf, but considering Inuyasha’s status in life Inuyasha was concerned that his big brother would turn tables on him soon to show who was dominant.

As the two brothers neared the hot springs, Inuyasha felt as though someone was watching them from a distance. He was starting to feel rather self conscious about having no clothing on which made him even more vulnerable to attacks.

Sesshoumaru kept an eye on his brother since Inuyasha was being rather amusing after they had just had sex. He was covering his ass with the fire rat kimono tied around his waist so no one could see the charms underneath it.

“Why do you hide little brother when I have already seen your young nubile tempting little body?”

Sesshoumaru stated as they reached the hot springs.

“I am just covering my ass Sesshoumaru. I told you I was raped and I don’t want a repeat of that even if you are around. I don’t know what perverted thoughts you might have of me.”

Sesshoumaru chuckled at that.

“I believe that we are quite past those issues Inuyasha. In fact was it not me who bend over for you so you could learn how to have sex with your human woman?”

Inuyasha blushed at that comment.

“Well it ain’t like I am going to repeat that.”

Sesshoumaru flung his hair back and looked at Inuyasha with a rather seductive smile.

“Are you certain about that?”

Sesshoumaru stated softly as he met Inuyasha’s stare and then turned away as he seductively slid his fingers through his hair giving small peeks of his perfect assets that made him quite desirable.

Inuyasha blushed even more feeling very weird since this was a very awkward moment.

“I’m not going to answer that.”

Inuyasha answered feeling this attraction to his older brother, but unsure of what to think of it.

“I already know the answer little brother.”

Sesshoumaru stated flatly as he began to braid his long silvery locks after he set down his carefully folded silk kimono, his boots from the mainland, and his armor.

Inuyasha couldn’t help staring at his brother who now was using a piece of silk to tie the end of his hair to keep the braid from falling out.

“Why are you braiding your hair? I thought we were going to wash up.”

Sesshoumaru looked at Inuyasha as if looking at a bug.

“My hair was washed by your human wife and that human slayer. I do not wish to have the scent of their soap leave my person yet.”

Inuyasha strode into the water after folding his own clothing placing it on the opposite side of Sesshoumaru’s clothing and armor.

Inuyasha got relaxed in the heated water feeling rather at peace for the moment until he looked at Sesshoumaru who looked alluring with his hair wrapped upon his head like a female bun of pure silvery silky braided hair.

“Why are you gawking at me Inuyasha?”

Sesshoumaru stated as Inuyasha came out of his stupor.

“I’ve just never seen you with your hair up.”

Inuyasha stated as he turned away before making an even bigger fool of himself.

“I do not wish for it to get wet.”

Sesshoumaru stated simply as he leaned against a boulder on the opposite side of Inuyasha.

“Sesshoumaru, are you going to tell anyone what we did? What I mean is, well, you know……….”

Inuyasha stammered out nervously.

“Oh you mean your first time with a male? No, it is not my intention to bring your problems with me when I depart.”

Inuyasha pouted at that comment. What the hell did Sesshoumaru mean by his problems? Plus if you included all the rapes he suffered before he met Kikyo he wasn’t a complete virgin in his mind.

“What do ya mean by that Sesshoumaru? I ain’t a virgin to men. I was raped more times than I can count ya bastard and as for problems I take care of them.”

Sesshoumaru frowned at Inuyasha.

“Inuyasha, I saved you and your pack many times for reasons I do not comprehend any longer. However, for such actions I am allowed to collect my debts from you for the deeds that were done and for the humiliation I received from you as well as those humans.”

Inuyasha scowled at his brother.

“You tried to kill me more times than you tried to save anyone.”

Inuyasha accused.

“You cut off my left arm and if I had indeed really wanted you dead little brother than you would be.”

Sesshoumaru countered back.

“So what are you saying? That you just shoved your hand through my chest for the hell of it?”

Sesshoumaru sighed.

“I knew you wouldn’t die. If I had intentionally aimed for your heart than that would have been a different matter all together Inuyasha.”

Sesshoumaru said it like he didn’t have a care in the world, like Inuyasha’s suffering at his hands was nothing at all. It totally pissed off Inuyasha.

“So you are saying that all the wounds you inflicted on me was not to kill me? Then what the hell were you doing Sesshoumaru?! Trying to see how far you could push me around?! Was my life just a joke to you?!’
“And what about Kagome’s life? You tried to kill my wife!”

Sesshoumaru looked bored.

“She held Father’s sword and it accepted her. I could not let a human take Father’s tessaiga. It belonged to one of us and I foolishly believed it was meant to be mine. Father indeed has a sick sense of humor.’
“I accidently saved your human from being strangled and poisoned to death although at the time I would not admit to doing such a thing. It was below me, yet for you I sacrificed my pride.’
“If you had not been careless with your pack I would not have had to save them thus I am owed what is due to me.’
“My ward was to be killed by your pack member and her life belongs to me now. She agreed to it and thus it is so. She married the monk that had the audacity to think about groping my person. You tend to forget I can read minds.’
“Your monk also attempted to take my life with his wind tunnel. You did nothing to stop this and therefore you are responsible for what your pack has done to me.’
“Do you even have the slightest clue on how difficult life is with only one arm? Do you even feel guilty for removing it from me? How would you feel if I cut off your left arm and left it at Father’s grave only to have that disgusting human Takemaru of Setsuna come back to life using my discarded arm? It was not worth getting it back after that creature touched it making it filthy by using it. Would you have taken your arm back if a dirty human had used it?”

Inuyasha thought about that for a moment.

“So basically what you are saying is that I owe you for all that you have done for my pack. I will take their place so you needn’t bother with them anymore.”

Sesshoumaru shook his head no.

“No, they need to learn their lessons as well. You have not trained them properly and you still walk around with that collar around your neck. Why hasn’t your woman taken the foul thing off? Do you like to be controlled?”

Inuyasha frowned and touched the beads.

“These connect us and it isn’t like my being sat is always a bad thing. I mean it saved me from killing your pack.”

Inuyasha fingered the beads gently. In some ways he wished his wife would take them off, but he didn’t want to lose the connection to Kagome either.

“You make such sorry excuses Inuyasha. Take them off.”

Inuyasha looked at his brother like Sesshoumaru was a moron.

“I can’t.”

Inuyasha stated.

“You can and you will.”

Sesshoumaru growled out.

“No I can’t ya moron. See?”

Inuyasha then pulled up on the beads pulling them over his head.

“Oh……..”

Inuyasha stated dumbly.

“Those miko beads are to subjugate your demon so you do not harm the person who put them on you. You are fully human are you not?”

Inuyasha felt like a total idiot as he removed the beads completely.

“What do I do with them now?”

Inuyasha asked as he sat there not believing that they were actually off.

“Well Inuyasha I would suggest giving them back to your miko except then I am certain they would be back on your person. Perhaps the elder miko should take them and keep them.”

Sesshoumaru stated softly.

“Sesshoumaru, why do you hate me?”

Inuyasha asked as he sat against the boulder.

“I hate you for certain reasons that I cannot comprehend anymore Inuyasha. Part of it is what should have been mine was given to you and Izayoi.’
“However, over the last few years my hate for you has subsided. You cannot help what you are and you are in need of Father’s sword more so than I am. Therefore I hate you no more.”

Inuyasha felt a little better now. He really wanted his brother’s love more than anything in the world and perhaps as time goes by he hoped they would achieve such a thing.

Sesshoumaru relaxed in the warm water closing his eyes for a few minutes trying to make all the cares in his world go away.

Inuyasha sat staring at the water for a while and then dunked his head under it wanting to wash it with the water until all the dirt came out as he scrubbed his head.

The one thing Inuyasha was thankful for was that because he was a demon dog bugs did not nest in his hair. He had only one small flea that would usually pop up and bite him, but that flea was a demon too and at times Mioga was useful.

As Inuyasha came up for air he found himself suddenly face to face with his elder brother.

“Inuyasha, why did you say you loved me?”

Sesshoumaru asked softly looking into his eyes like an innocent child making Inuyasha unsure what to say.

“I don’t know why Sesshoumaru. I just guess it is because you are my only family and even if you hate me I still look up to you. You are my only example of what Father could have been like since I don’t know the old man. You know more about him then I do and for a long time I resented you for it, but I don’t feel like doing that anymore.”

Sesshoumaru then nodded and thought hard about what he was going to do next. Inuyasha had put his mind in a strange place that he wasn’t certain he liked. It was like Kagome calling him her big brother. It just didn’t feel right although the truth of the matter was there.

“Then I will acknowledge your feelings for me. I too will work on my feelings for you. I am not certain that it will come to any conclusion at first, but I will attempt to give you something in return for your words.”

Sesshoumaru looked Inuyasha in the eyes.

“Do you wish to know how sex with a man can be pleasant? I do not take rape as a way of removing your virginity and it is part of the reason I do not trust anyone. Rape is violence and your needs must be met before you can continue so that you do not misread intentions of mere lust. There is more than just fucking involved in sex. The actual intercourse is just an interlude for feeling connected in more ways than you can imagine.”

Inuyasha thought about it and indeed was curious, but perhaps another time when his emotions were not so strong and he was not in this fragile form.

“Can we do this another day? I am unsure how I feel right now considering what I had done to you and I am uncertain that I will be able to cope as well when I am in this human body.”

Sesshoumaru nodded and strode out of the water shaking the water off himself in order to dry as he sat on a rock and pulled the twigs that were holding his hair up out so that the braid fell down over his right shoulder.

Inuyasha followed suit, but without his powers he was unable to shake the water off so instead he sat on a boulder opposite of his brother and tried to allow the cool air to dry him off. At least that was the way Koga found the two men.
