Rain Forever

I groaned as I woke up to the sun shinning right in my eyes. I blocked the light with my forearm and slowly got up. I yawned stretching my arms and then making my way to the door, then I blinked realizing I didn't have much clothing on. I turned back to the bed to see Sesshomaru in the bed as well. I twitched angrily as I grabbed my kimono from the bed and pulled it around my body securely. I walked out of the room and walked downstairs to see Rin and Jocken up. I smiled at the little girl and sat a the table beside her.

"So what's in store for today?" I asked.

"Lord Sesshomaru would probably know," Rin said happily and eating the food that Jocken sat on the table for them. I as well took a bite of the food.

"Isuzu-sama could we go see your secret spot again?" Rin asked.

"Sure, Rin." I replied as I took another bite, then decided I didn't want to eat meat. I wanted berries.

"Jocken I'm going out to find some berries. I'll be back momentarily."

"Right M'Lady."

"Want to come Rin?" I asked.

"No thanks, Isuzu-sama." I smiled and nodded as I dashed out the door and ran off through the forest where I knew some good berries grew around the river band. I sniffed out for them as I saw a few good blackberries on a bush near by. As I began to pick them there was a rustle in the trees. I got out my sword ready to fight as the thing rustling jumped out of the tree laughing evilly.

"I've been watching you a lot Isuzu," The man said. He had long wavy black hair with red eyes. It was eerie.

"What do you want, you filthy bastard?" I snipped my sword out ready to slice his limbs off.

"Mheheheh, you can't kill me bitch. Come with me and I'll let you off easy."
"I refuse to go anyway with anyone." I said dully before swiping my sword at him, as he jumped back at every attempt of me trying to hurt him.

"What is your name fowl beast?" I demanded.

"Naraku, the half-demon." He replied.

"You reek of rotting corpses," I said with disgust. He laughed evily as he went to strike me but something quickly cut Naraku in-half. I narrowed my eyes.

"Damn you Sesshomaru! I can take care of myself!" I shouted. The body that was cut in half then disappeared.

"Only a mere puppet." Sesshomaru stated.

"Dammit are you even listening to me!" I shouted.

"Shut your mouth woman. It's useless trying to tell me that you had this on your own. He could have injured you," He said placing his sword back in his hilt.

"Aw, was Lord Sesshomaru worried about little old me?" I asked sarcastic.

"Watch your tongue woman."

"Dammit! Would you stop calling me Woman and call me by my name for once! Christ! You piss me off, you...you arrogant son of a bitch!" I yelled and went to storm off but remembered I wanted berries.

"Forget something?" He questioned amused.

"Oh shove your mouth with fish."

"I'd rather not thank you." He replied. I rolled my eyes as I began re-picking black berries since the ones I had were now smashed in the ground. I got a handful and thought I was going to drop some when a small bucket was at my side. I let the berries drop into the pail.

"Thanks..." I mumbled as I picked berries until I had the pail to the rim with berries.

"Now are you finished?" Sesshomaru asked.

"Mmm..." I replied as I picked up the bucket and walked off with Sesshomaru.

This is only slightly awkward.

"Is there something you wish to tell me....Sesshy?" I asked waiting to see his reaction. He narrowed his eyes.

"That's not my name."

"Nope, it's a nickname duh." I replied. He glowered at me.

"Ha. See that's how I feel about being called woman all the time!" I stated.

"Fine, I'll try my best."

"What's so bad about saying my name?" I asked.

"I don't call someone by name unless I know them formally," He said.

"That's absurd... you don't hear me saying hey you bastard dog demon."

"No, because you know my name and happen to have a crush on me."

"What! I do not," I said a blush creeping on my face.

"Liar." He replied as he stopped me, putting his hand on my face and looking into my eyes.

"No...not as big of a liar as you," I said softly leaning in as our lips pressed together in a heated kiss.

"Isuzu..." He said softly as he ran his hand through my hair. I gazed into his golden orbs not believing the emotion he was showing me.

How can someone so serious...someone so cold be so warm and kind? I couldn't believe this.
Why did he do it? Why did he kill my family? Why? Why...

"Why did you kill them!" I shouted pounding my fist against his chest.

"Why!"

"Mnn...I did what I had to do Isuzu, I'm sorry," He said.

"Your lying!" I shouted and backed away from him drawling out my sword holding it to his throat only to be hastily thrown against a tree.

"Enough is enough Isuzu, the time has come to overcome your families death. Now stop being foolish and come back to the castle with me. Rin, will be delighted to see these berries," He said glaring daggers into me. I turned my head.

"I hate this!" I shouted. He let go of my throat as I slid down a tree and felt as if I could cry.

"I hate that I love you!" I shouted. I gasped as I covered my mouth as Sesshomaru was shocked at my choice of words, then narrowed his eyes.

"Enough, lets get back. Rin is probably wondering where we're at," He said. I sighed as I got up bucket in hand, as I kept my gaze on the ground.

Of course...he won't say it back. He has no feelings for me, none at all. All he cares about is having a mate. It really pisses me off, but what else am I do to? What choice do I have? If I left he'd just bring me back and probably punish me for leaving yet again. So that's out of the question...I just don't see why he doesn't let anyone break the barrier around his heart. What's the point? Does he believe it makes me stronger that way? Even Sesshomaru's father knew that wasn't the way to supreme power. Love...can conquer all, that is the supreme power and even I can't say how much it can rip you apart in the end. I knew Sesshomaru's father and his mother. I also knew Sesshomaru's step-mother which is Inuyasha's mother. Inuyasha's father was not a fool, but he was trying to prove a point. A point that Sesshomaru himself has been avoiding his entire life.

"What are you thinking about foolish woman?" He asked.

"What did I Te-" He put his hand to my mouth.

"Just answer my question." I huffed.

"Nothing, a whole lot of nothing." I replied.

"Your a bad liar you know that?" He said more than asked. I crossed my arms.

"So what's it to you?" I glanced over at him and lightened my mood.

"Sesshomaru?" I asked trying to hid my concern, "Is everything alri-" I was cut off again as I was hushed by command.

"Isuzu...run...get back to the castle as fast as you can. Now go!" He shouted. My eyes went wide as I darted towards the castle, quickly hopping from tree to tree as I heard clashing of swords and then a loud boom and bright light spread over the area where seconds ago I had been. I hopped down onto the ground with the berries and ran inside the castle making sure the door was well secure. I sighed as I took a deep breath sliding down the door.

"M'Lady that is no way to act!" Jocken scolded.

"Sorry Jocken, I had to follow Sesshy's orders."

"Sesshy? Oh my Lord Sesshomaru will be infuriated by this nickname of yours."
"He already was," I said with a smirk.

"Oh lord..." Jocken said. I laughed and got up setting the berries on the table as Rin gave me a big hug.

"Blackberries are my favorite how did you know?" She asked amazed.

"Well my dear child, I was once a young pup and I too loved berries." Rin and I chowed down on the berries as Jocken hung his head at our pig like eating over the berries. We both grinned at each other and carried on. Then a loud slam made all of us jump.

"Jocken...whe- nevermind. Isuzu, come." I raised a brow and he narrowed his eyes pointing upstairs. I blinked as I stood up.

"I shall return my lovely one!" I exclaimed playfully.

"Stop acting like your going to eat her!" Jocken scolded. I laughed.

"She knows I won't."

"Yeah Jocken, that just means she loves me and not you!" I smiled as I saw a grin tug at the corner of Sesshomaru's mouth. I smiled again, but that smile slowly faded as I was thrown into his bed chambers and he closed the door behind him.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Then wh-" I was cut off as his lips forcefully crashed against mine. He broke of the kiss and examined my body carefully. I twitched with annoyance as I knew where this was headed. I growled and he glared, I backed down. I crossed my arms and he unfolded them. I stomped my foot and he knocked my feet out from under me making me fall onto the bed. He slightly smiled as he whispered in my ear.

"Remember my actions aren't feelings toward you. I feel nothing and know everything." I shivered at his voice as his hot breath hit my ear. I whimpered as I bit my lower lip.

Why does he have to tease me so?

He smirked as he slid off his kimono top and removed his weapons off his pants. I looked away from him and then stood up, quickly making my way out of the balcony and jumping into the back as I transformed into my dog form.

I may anger him, but I'm still not going to let him have my body so easily...he has to put up a fight before that happens.

I growled a deep bellowing growl as Sesshomaru quickly joined me his dog demon form taller than mine. He growled barring his teeth and snapped his canines at me. I glared barking at him as we began to fight.
