When Christmas Comes to Town

Nina sat on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa as she watched the servants draping garland over the door way. Mizuki brought Nina a plate with a grilled ham and cheese with extra cheese and some hot and spicy cheese its. Nina smiled at Mizuki.

“Thank you Mizuki isn’t it all coming together wonderfully” Nina smiled setting her mug down and taking the plate.

“Yes Mizuki it is, I don’t know what you have done but I haven’t see lord Sesshomaru this happy since befor our young mistress Rin died since then our lords heart has become so cold again only you and her have been able to warm his heart.” Mizuki said standing next to her.

“Mizuki can I tell you something but you can’t tell anyone because no one knows yet.” Nina said taking a bite of her sandwich.

“Yes milady” Mizuki said
“Sesshomaru asked me to be his mate he hasn’t marked me yet because of everything that’s going on he doesn’t want me to feel pushed into it so he going to announce me as his mate but I wont be marked untill after the baby is born. And he is going to adopt the baby as his thought she won’t be the heir especially since she is a girl but if it was a boy she couldn’t because she isn’t biologically his. But he wants to be her father.” Nina said with a smile

“That’s wonderful milady to see a little one running around again will fill me heart with joy.” Mizuki said clapping her hands together.

Just then there was a loud crash and then 4 demons came running into the Lounge where they where at. Nina stood up shocked. Mizuki stepped in front of Nina as the male servants began to fight three of the demons and one came at Mizuki and Nina he threw Mizuki out of the way and Nina yell and ran away from him. She found herself trapped her back against her piano and the demon coming at her. The demon began to laugh and growl.

“Now lookie lookie I got the great lords play toy and looks like I have his heir to isn’t this lovely” The demon laughed he had long claws and silver hair like Sesshomaru.

“Get away!” Nina screamed.

Her grabbed Nina’s writs and pin against the piano and buried his noise in her hair and sighed

“What a wonderful scent new snow with a mix of lilies tied in with the scent of fear.” He spoke and looked into her eyes.

“Oh im going to enjoy watching you die fear mix with pain in those eyes so innocent and caring. Yes one of my favorite sights.” The demon spoke softly

Nina’s eyes became red with small hints of blue in them and her nails grew into claws and her fangs grew over her lip as she began to growl.

“Get your filthy hands off me you bustard!” Nina said as she yanked her hands out of his grip and swung a hand at him scratching his face.

“You bitch!” he said taking a few steps away and putting a hand on his cheek.

Nina ran at him slashing her claws at him. “You hurt Mizuki and you tried to hard me and my baby you bustard for that you will pay with your life!” Nina growled and pounced on him and began to slash her claws over him his blood splattering over her. The others had killed two of the other demons and one escaped. Two male servants came over to Nina pulling off of the man he was severely injured but they could get answers from him later. Nina began to fight trashing around she tried to bite at the men holding her she wasn’t herself. Mizuki came over to her and placed her hands on Nina’s cheeks looking into her blood red eyes.

“Nina its okay you and your baby are safe now please Milady calm down its okay its safe now.” Mizuki spoke softly.

Nina stood there panting as her eyes slowly went back to blue her claws retracted and her fangs shortened back to small canines. Nina looked around and looked at the male servants that now loosened their grip but kept a hold of her incase she where to fall or something. Nina looked at the blood on her hands and her clothing and passed out. The men griped her and slowly lowered her to the ground. Mizuki sat next to her and cheeked her pulse and everything. She looked at the two men.

“One of you call the Lord and one of you get me a glass of water.” Mizuki ordered

They nodded and went off.


Sesshomaru was in his large office looking over some files when his secretary came in, in a panic.

“Mr. Taisho your house was broken into one of your servants said they where attacked and a girl named Nina has collapsed.” The woman said

Sesshomaru stood up with out saying a word and grabbed his keys not bothering with his jacket and ran out of his office and out the building and to his car where he got in and sped off to his house.

Mizuki was able to get Nina to come to. Nina shot up looking at the blood on herself again and the men getting the man she had attacked up. Nina’s eyes widened as tears filled them.

“Mizuki what have I done?” She asked looking at her blood covered hands


“You transformed and attacked him out of instinct you and your child where in danger so you demon instinct kicked in and you attacked him.” Mizuki said quietly

“Where is Sesshomaru I want Sesshomaru” Nina said covering her face as tears began to fall.

“Lord Sesshomaru is on his way here right now please stop crying you don’t want to get to worked up it could harm your baby” Mizuki said trying to calm the girl

“I don’t want to be in here I want Sesshomaru” Nina countied to cry.

“Okay okay Milady come on lets go someplace else just please try to calm down.” Mizuki said standing up and helping Nina.

Mizuki turned to the men “we the Lord gets here tell him we are upstairs in Lady Nina’s Room.”

The Men nodded.

Mizuki helped Nina up stairs and helped her sit down on one of the very lovely antique couches that were in her room. Nina just curled up in a ball hugging herself her eyes still filled with tears as she trembled some. She couldn’t believe what she had done and what scared her the most is she couldn’t remember any of it.

“Milady why don’t we go into your bathroom and clean you up.” Mizuki said softly

Nina didn’t respond.

Down Stairs then men where just coming out of the basement where they locked up the demon Nina attacked when Sesshomaru came busting threw the doors.

“Where is she?” He demanded with a snarl in his voice.

“Mizuki took her upstairs she is pretty upset.” On of the men said

Sesshomaru ran up stairs into Nina’s room. Nina looked up at him as tears ran down her face. Sesshomaru hurried over to her taking her into his arms.

“Im sorry im sorry I don’t know what happened they attacked and then he is on the floor and….and...” Nina just sobbed into Sesshomaru’s chest

Sesshomaru looked at Mizuki “what happened?”

“I had just brought Lady Nina’s lunch to her as the others decorated and next thing we hear is a crash and four demons attacked up we where able to dispose of 2 one got away and one went after Nina he had her pined to the piano and was talking about how her loved how her scent was twisted with fear and how he would enjoy looking into her innocent fear struck eye as he killed her and her baby. I believed he called her your toy. Then her demon instinct kicked in and her attacked him we had to pull her off of him so you would have someone to question it had to calm her down and bring her back to normal and when she saw what had happened she collapsed I was able to bring her back by wetting the bottom of my kimono and dabbing her forehead and she looked around and saw again what had happened and she became very upset and asked for you and said she didn’t want to be there and asked for you again so I brought her up here she hasn’t been responsive.” Mizuki said explaining everything to him.

Sesshomaru nodded and pulled Nina away gently and looked at her “Nina look at me” Sesshomaru said

Nina looked up at him.

“Are you okay are you hurt any where are you in any kind of pain at all” Sesshomaru asked

Nina shook her head no.

“Okay…” Sesshomaru looked to Mizuki “I want you to pack her things we are going to the palace it will be safer there”

Mizuki nodded and began to pack.

“Nina I want you to stay here don’t leave this room okay why don’t you clean up and get some new cloths and ill will be back to get you in a few minutes okay” Sesshomaru said.

“No don’t go don’t leave! I don’t want to be alone again” Nina said and clung on to Sesshomaru.

“Nina I have to go take care of something im not leaving the house I promise” Sesshomaru said

“But what if they come back, what if… what if something happens to me again, I don’t even remember doing what I did please don’t leave me” Nina begged him

“Nina please ill be gone just a few minutes then im taking you to the palace remember you said you have always wanted to go to the palace, but we cant leave untill I take care of something ok” Sesshomaru said

Nina slowly released her grip on him and nodded.

“Good now get cleaned up and changed and ill be right back ok” Sesshomaru said standing up

Nina nodded.

Sesshomaru left the room and Nina went into her bathroom put her hands on the counter supporting herself and looked down taking in a deep breath and then looked up at the mirror she had blood all over her shirt and her face and hands. She reached fro the knob on the sink turning it on and putting her hands into the cascading water turning the clear pure water that fell from her cupped hands into a blood red waterfall. The blood was washed away down the drain she then leant over the sink splashing water on her face washing the blood away. Once she was finished she looked into the mirror and Mizuki walked in and smiled and handed her a dry towel.

“Milady I laid out some cloths for you to change into.” Mizuki said

Nina nodded and spoke softly “Thank you Mizuki” Nina walked out with Mizuki as she dried her face and hands.

Down in the basement Sesshomaru stood in front on the man who had attacked Nina. He smirked to himself.

“I won’t but I should commend her on her nice work” Sesshomaru said standing in front of the man who was tied in a chair.

He groaned some as he lifted his head looking at Sesshomaru “what do you mean that bitch nearly killed me”

“And we would have let her if it wasn’t for the faced two of your comrades where already dead and the other escaped.” Sesshomaru said coldly

“Now tell me why where you in my house, why did you attack her and most importantly who sent you?!” Sesshomaru commanded

“Well I was obviously in you house because I was sent to do something, I attacked her because she is beautiful and we where ordered to kill anyone in the house the others took on your servants and I got her, for being the lady of the west she didn’t seem very strong but oh her scent laced with fear and such terror in those soft innocent eyes its enough to make your blood boil, and as for who scent me do you really think I would relay that information to you.” The man spoke with a chuckle.

Sesshomaru flicked his wrist and green whip flew across the flesh on his chest “I am giving you one more chance something I never do but ill give you one more chance to tell me who scent you or ill take your life.” Sesshomaru ad no intent on actually letting the man live not for scaring Nina like that. Scarring her and intending to harm her would earn you a fast track pass to hell.


“Not even over my dead body” The man spat.

“Then so be it!” Sesshomaru snarled he flicked his wrist again and decapitated the man.

Sesshomaru looked at two of his servants “get rid of the body I don’t want him stinking up my house” With that he left and went back up to Nina’s room opening the door just as she pulled and long sleeved fitted shirt that had a v-neck that showed off her nice cleavage. Sesshomaru walked over to her and rested his hand on her shoulder gently she jumped some He could tell her nerves where still very tense.

“Are you ready to leave?” Sesshomaru asked Nina

Nina nodded

Mizuki walked over with Nina’s bag and nodded to him.

Sesshomaru nodded and they all walked out of the house.

Sesshomaru drove untill the rode ended he then got out helping Nina out and looked at her

“We have to walk a little ways is that okay?” Sesshomaru asked

Nina nodded. Mizuki grabbed their things and followed as they walked threw the forest Nina kept a hold of Sesshomaru’s arm not to sure what they would find in this forest. Sesshomaru stopped when they came to what looked like to be an opening.

Nina looked around “Sesshomaru why have we stopped this is just an opening”

Then befor her eyes the castle appeared and her mouth dropped it was more beautiful than she had ever imagined.

Sesshomaru walked forward Nina following they where greeted by two guard who took the bags from Mizuki.

Sesshomaru looked to Mizuki “you may go to your quarters I will be will Mizuki for the remainder of the day.”

Nina looked at Sesshomaru when they weren’t alone he always had this stoic aura about him but she assumed a great lord as himself had to.

Mizuki nodded and bowed slightly and left Sesshomaru led the way to his room he slid the door opened revealing a very large ancient style room with some modern furniture such as a modern bed and a few couches. Nina walked in and Sesshomaru closed the door behind him and ushered Nina to sit on one of the couches.

“You will sleep in the room next to mine it has conjoining doors but you can not stay in here untill I have marked you as my mate” Sesshomaru said taking his bloodied jacket and shirt off and opening a large ancient wardrobe.

“I have been thinking about that Sesshomaru.” Nina said her voice shaky

Sesshomaru looked at her worried that she was having second thoughts.
“when that demon had me pined and he called me your toy I felt like he was calling me your whore, and im not I love you and I was thinking im pretty much your mate right now your taking me as your mate the only thing stopping is the mark and as I sat up in my room I was thinking why am I stopping him from marking me there is nor logical reason for it im just being childish and so I guess what im saying Sesshomaru is….” Nina stood up and walked over to him and placed her hands on his chest and slowly kissed his lips lightly.

“I want you to mark me, I want it to be official, and when everyone gathers I want you to be able to present me as your mate” Nina said looking up at him.

Sesshomaru placed a hand on her cheek this made his beast go wild inside it could finally claim what was his and his eyes began to become red.

He nodded to her “this is going to hurt but I promise you I will hold you untill the pain go away”

Nina nodded.

Sesshomaru gently brushed her hair away from her neck and brought his lips to the base of her neck where her neck connected to her shoulders he kissed it gently and then opening his mouth and bearing his fang he stuck them into her flesh. Nina’s body tensed and her fist clutched against his chest as tears fell from his tightly squeezed eyes as she tried her hardest not to scream. Sesshomaru wrapped his arms around her and softly licked the small droplets of blood that came from the wound on her neck.


3 days had passed and it was the night befor the lords would arrive for the winter gathering Sesshomaru had sent out a notice telling all the Lords that they would be holding the presentation ceremonial dinner the first night. Sesshomaru had told Nina that the presentational ceremonial dinner was where a lord presented his mate to the other lords for the first time formally. Nina stood in her a Sesshomaru’s room as many ladies stood around her fiddling with the fabric that had been made into an elaborate kimono for her they where just finishing up the final touches when the door opened Nina looked over and saw Sesshomaru.

Nina smiled she then saw another man inter he was in traditional general uniform like Sesshomaru was in his traditional clothing he had been wearing since they had arrived she assumed everyone would be in traditional cloths since Sesshomaru had kimonos delivered for Nina to wear for the gathering since it took place over the cores of several days. The man that entered behind Sesshomaru was no one other than Keiji. Keiji smiled and bowed.

“My lady that kimono is absolutely beautiful on you.” Keiji said

“Keiji but I thought you managed the bar.” Nina said looking at Keiji then to Sesshomaru.

Keiji laughed some it was so cute how the new Lady of the west was still learning a lot about how the land was run along with many things. “Yes my lady I do”

“When we do not have official things going on here or at another palace most of my generals run my businesses for me then some lower officers also work in my business building.” Sesshomaru said

“Oh” Nina said with a smile

“Dose the Kimono fit your expectations?” Nina asked turning some for him to see the back as she held out her arms.

Sesshomaru gave a slight nod.

Nina smiled sweetly. Sesshomaru couldn’t help but let a small smile cross his face as she smiled sweetly at him.

“I didn’t come to cheek on the kimono though Nina I want to go over how the dinner is going to work one last time so if you could change and meet us outside” Sesshomaru said

Nina nodded.

Sesshomaru and Keiji walked out of the room closing the door behind them.

Moments later Nina came out in a very elaborate but more simple kimono and they walked down threw the halls of the Castle and went over how the presentation would work.

I got a Review here recently and it said i needed to get a beta. I take no offence to this i just want to put out there that i normaly have a Beta but she is currently in her last year of high school and the school year is comeing to an end so she is very bussy at this presant time. So i want to apologize for the band grammer and misspelled words if there is any my word prosessor dosnt show anything wrong when i type it up in it i pretype everything in Microsoft word and speel cheek it and everything befor i put it on here.
