Something familiar
The next morning Sesshomaru was standing as agreed at Kougas ship, where again this strange scent came into his nose.
"Hey, where is your captain? I am supposed to have a meeting with him." Sesshomaru shouted at the whole crew on the ship, at no one in particular.
One man of the crew immediatly recognised Sesshomaru and let him on the ship.
"Where is the captain cabin?" Sesshomaru asked a bit impatiently.
He really didn´t like to be kept waiting. The crewman must have sensed that and so he began leading him to Kougas cabin.
On the way to the cabin, this familiar scent was growing stronger and stronger.
Since politeness wasn´t one of his biggest qualities, he simply stepped into the chamber, after a swift knock on the door, without waiting for an answer.
Once he was inside the cabin he closed the door, when he heard someone talking to him, from another room, from the other side of the cabin.
Sesshomaru assumed that is was a bathroom, `cause he could hear water running.
"Baby, do you know where my new shirt is? I just can´t seem to find it.
You know the blue one you bought me last week on the market place."
The second Sesshomaru heard that voice, he knew that it wasn´t Kougas.
But still he had heard that voice before, it was familiar to him.
But like the scent he didn´t quite knew where to put it.
While he was busy with thinking about that voice and that scent, the door to the bathroom slowly opened and the man he had heard talking behind it, came out.
The man was only wearing trousers, but hadn´t had any shoes on and he was stripped to the waist.
Then the man spoke again.
"Hey, Kouga. Why don´t you answer me?"
Sesshomaru didn´t know how to react to that, because this man obviously thought
that he was Kouga.
So he stayed silent, while the other man turned himself around to face him.
Suddenly the world seemed to be crashing down on him, as Sesshomaru saw his face.
Now everything made sesne, the familiar scent and the voice, it all belonged to Inuyasha, to his lost mate. Who was now, with a totally shocked look on his face, standing before him.
