Adventures in Baby Sitting

Saya chewed on her hair neverously as the phone continued to ring. Why she was nervous she had no idea? Okay scratch that she did know, how many girls can say they will be getting to baby-sit a child of a gorgeous man? Not many that’s who. Saya giggled as she recalled begging her father for this. Sure he had allowed her to get her license, but he told her she couldn’t get a car until she got a car. She frowned listening to the phone ringing still as she recalled her past jobs that never worked out because her father was picky about what his wonderful daughter could and couldn’t do.
“Moshi-Moshi this is the Taisho residence.” Came a very deep baritone voice, Saya sighed as she felt like that that voice was the most sexiest thing she had ever heard.
Saya grinned as she was snapped out of her thoughts and began to speak.
“Ano... Moshi-Moshi this is Saya Hisa may I please speak to Sesshoumaru Onegai?”
“Of course one minute.” The voice replied. Saya began to twist her finger around the telephone cord as she waited on Sesshoumaru. She didn’t have to wait long when she heard a shuffle on the other line of the phone.
“This is Sesshoumaru.”
“It’s me Saya…” she waited and when he grunted in response she held backs the giggle. “My father said that would be fine if I could baby-sit for you tomorrow.”
“That’s great, I can’t thank you again. I will need you to arrive atleast an hour before I leave so Rin can get use to you and I can make sure you get here alright and what not.”
Saya and Sesshoumaru continued to talk about the arrangements when five minutes later she said her goodbyes and hung up the phone smiling.

Saya stood in front of the Taisho manner in awe. The place looked more like a castle then a house. She giggled as she realized it probably was made to look like a castle. Finally she checked her watch and held the back pack a little tighter that she had brought. She was so relieved that she would be in her last year of schooling. As she continued to walk up the stairs she kept getting this forboding feeling. She had not had that feeling since six or rather five years ago. She smiled as she fondly ran her hand over the necklace her father had gotten her last year for her birthday.
As she made her towards the door she ran her hands through her hair and rang the door bell. She stood there for all of five minutes when the door opened and there stood the second most beautiful male she had ever seen. He smiled softly at her and she blushed but smiled back. He had long silver hair that was braided in the back, but unlike Sesshoumaru he had blue stripes on his face.
“You must be miss Saya Hisa.” Saya shook her head mentally as she realized she was staring and nodded.
The man smiled and gently took her hand and kissed her knuckles. “I am Toga Taisho, I think I recall you were in my youngest son’s class and now you are baby-sitting my grand pup?”
She smiled as she gently pulled her hand back and nodded. “Hai that is me.”
He ushered her in and placed his hand on the small of her back to lead her in. “My youngest had told me how you had lost your mother and your memories all in the same day six or is it five years ago? Must have been a very trying time for you young one.”
She looked up at him and nodded. “Hai it was five years ago, almost six. Yes I don’t have any pictures of her so it is harder for myself. Father said we lost everything even pictures of her.” She said as she hastily whipped a stray tear from her eye. Toga smiled down at the young woman.
“My condolences for your lost sweet heart, if you’ll just sit here and make yourself comfortable I’ll go get my oldest Pup and Grand pup. I am sorry I can not stay for I am already running late for a meeting.”
With that Toga walked out of the room, but not before they bowed at each other. She giggled when she heard Toga yell for his son and his grand pup. After that it seemed quit except for the slamming of the front door signaling Toga had left.
Saya slid the back pack off her shoulder and opened it up to reveal some coloring books and crayons, and some other stuff for the young girl. Saya grinned as she realized that this little girl probably had lots of toys but she knew from experience to always bring other stuff.
Saya jumped up and shrieked as she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around and found Sesshoumaru chuckling softly at her.
“Gomen… I did not mean to scare you. I would like to introduce you too Rin.” With that he turned around and a little girl cam walking out. She kept her hands wrapped around her father’s leg as she looked up at Saya.
‘oh how adorable’ Saya thought. She got down on her knees to the girl’s level and smiled.
“I’m Saya, you must be Rin.”
Rin looked up at her father who nodded his head and then Rin looked back at Saya and smiled real big.
“Rin is happy to meet you pretty lady Saya-San.”
Sesshoumaru nodded and pat his pup’s head and then pulled her in his arms and began to bark at her as Rin barked back at her father. Saya watched with a big smile on her face.
“That is so sweet you call her your precious Rin.”
Sesshoumaru calmly put Rin down and stared at Saya. “You understood us?”
Saya looked around uneasily. “Oh… was I intruding or something?”
Rin looked between her father and her new baby sitter as she still kept her hands around her father’s leg unsure. She could feel her father’s unease all of a sudden and she didn’t like it.
“You were not intruding, it was just… most ningen’s don’t understand the Inu language, unless you’re a miko?”
Saya frowned. “I’m not a Miko… atleast I don’t think I am. Father never said I was one.”
“I… I…” Saya began but didn’t know what to say. It wasn’t like she had class on Inu Language in school. Sesshoumaru held up his hand.
“We will discuss this later… I need to leave so I can get there on time.” With that said he patted his daughter’s head again and bowed to Saya and walked out the door.
“Well Rin-Chan, I’ve got a Disney Princess Coloring Book with your name on it.” Saya giggled as she heard Rin squeal with delight.

“That’s very pretty Rin-chan. You color so well, are you sure your not an artist?” Saya said as Rin giggled.
“Rin is sure she is just a 5 year old pup.” She said as she continued to color a picture in the coloring book.
“Rin want’s to know how Saya nee-chan knew to bring pretty coloring books.”
Saya grinned as she lightly tickled the girl before answering. “I use to baby sit this little fox demon named Shippo. I bet you two would get along so well. I think I’m baby sitting him this Friday. Hey Rin-Chan, maybe if your father say’s okay you can help me with Shippo?”
“Oh I hope daddy will let me!” Rin said as she held up her linked her hands together and brought them to her chin. Saya smiled as she quickly took a picture of the little pup.
“Hope Daddy will let you do what pup?”
Rin giggled as she turned to see her father standing in the doorway, and with that she bolted from the floor and launched herself into her father’s leg. He grinned and patted her head. Sesshoumaru looked up to see Saya bending down to pick up the coloring books and he held back a groan as her bottom was up in the air in the position for him to take her like an Inu bitch. He shook his head mentally as he heard his pup talking.
“Saya nee-chan said she baby sit’s a little fox demon named Shippo and she wanted to know if Rin could come with her this Friday when she baby sit’s Shippo-Chan. Oh daddy can Rin go please?” she said as she pleaded with him with her big golden eyes.
Sesshoumaru looked up from his daughter’s pleading face to see that Saya was now, thankfully, standing up. She had a soft smile on her face which just begged to be returned and he found himself slowly smiling as well.
“It really is no problem. Shippo is a sweet kid. I think the two would get along very well.”
“Have you ever baby-sat two kids at once?” the concerned father asked.
Saya smiled and nodded her head. “Once I baby sat two twin boys, about Shippo-chan and Rin-chan’s ages. So I’m totally used to double the load. Not that they are trouble at all.”
Sesshoumaru nodded. “Actually that would be wonderful, I think my father is trying to get me to attend one of his companies party this Friday and I was going to ask if you could baby sit her then.”
“Of course, my baby sitting job with Shippo is in the afternoon I could come back when I drop Rin-chan off and just stay the evening, if that’s okay and not so forward?” She said as she bit her lower lip.
Sesshoumaru nodded. “That will be acceptable.”

Saya closed the door as she looked at her watch. Oh man she was in it, she was thirty minutes late. Hopefully her father wouldn’t be so upset, surely he would know that Sesshoumaru’s interview went a little longer than usually.
“Saya Hisa, do you know what time it is?”
Said girl winced as she heard the thunderous voice of her father. She turned around and saw him staring at her with the hard look on his face.
“Daddy, I….I’ am so sorry…” she was cut off when he had grabbed her elbow and pulled her up close to him.
“Daddy… stop…. You’re hurting me” she cried.
“Maybe then you’ll listen to what I say.” He said as he gripped her elbow harder and pulled her closer to where she was on her tip toes. He leaned down near her ear and without thinking licked the shell of her ear. He smirked inwardly when he felt her shudder.
“Daddy…?” she asked in a soft voice.
He leaned back into her ear and whispered. “Next time you disobey one of my rules you will be grounded.”
With that he jerked his hand away from her elbow, which she wasn’t expecting and fell on her bottom. She looked up to see her father walking away. She gingerly whipped away her tears when she slowly rubbed her elbow. She widened her eyes when she brought back her hand to find blood on her fingers.
Shakenkly she stood up and made her way to bandage her elbow as she softly crying wondering what got into her father.

Okay i decided to do my A/N here. First off if you noticed the name of this chapter is actually from an 80's movie that i love... it's a good movie.. Also someone on AFF pointed out that if it was six years later she would be turning 19 or atleast would be 19.. i saw it as the year.. like if you count from 02 to 07 it's six years. But if you count her age it really has been five years. Hope that make sense again R & R
