Sorry for some of the spelling mistakes in the previous chapters, also for the weird sentences(darn I thought I fixed those lol.) Please continue to read and review. Also thank you to all that have read and reviewed my story, it does an author’s heart good to hear such inspiring reviews. Chapter Five: Betrayal of a comrade, a lords understanding.

Kouga stood in front of his den, Inuyasha’s scent still clung to his being. Just thinking of his mate brought a smile to the ookami’s face, he really did love the dog, it just took him some time to realize it. Coming to think about it kouga seemed to recall that the more he visited kagome on the pretense of claiming her as his woman he was always more exited to see Inuyasha. The thrill of seeing his golden eyes darken with barely restrain anger, the way the hanyou’s silver mane of hair whipped violently in the wind giving him an even earthier look, almost like that of a fallen angel had always made his blood rush with adrenalin. Kouga loved those moments, he loved there fights two, on several accounts he had found himself wanting to throw the half breed on the ground and fuck his brains out. He had not understood it then, but know he did, his youkai was telling him that Inuyasha was meant to be his and only his.

As he was about to enter the den and get bombarded with questions from his pack an extremely powerful wave of distress hit him square in the chest, falling forwards from the pain he braced himself against the stone wall, something was wrong. Turning in the direction of kaede’s village he felt the pull once more, Inuyasha needed him. Holding his chest as if to somehow dull the pain that spread through his body Kouga used the power of the shikon jewel in his legs and ran as fast as he could toward his love.

Inuyasha looked at kagome in shock, she had called him a slut and a whore in front of the few people he could call friends, she had referred to him as nothing better then a pet, an animal meant to serve her.
Molten gold eyes turned to look at Yuuhe, he had a scowl on his face as he looked at kagome
“Why should it matter that he is mated to a male, you who claim to be his friend should be happy for him instead you stand there and condemn him with your hateful word. You treat him as if he were some pet you brought at a flee market, he is male, yes, and so is his mate. That is no reason to call him such filthy words, if any should be called such it is you.” Yuuhe said as he stood in front of Inuyasha in a protective manner”

“Are you crazy? Two males being together is disgusting, filthy, a sin to mankind. They should be killed, he should be put down like the animal he is. His own brother hates him, he is nothing more then a waste of air and space,” kagome said as she pointed at Inuyasha who looked on the verge of tears. A loud slap echoed throughout the hut, kagomes body hit the floor with a thud. Hateful black eyes stared into equally black eyes, Sango stood above her, her usually calm face twisted in a mask of anger.

“Shut up kagome, Inuyasha is an important part of this group. How many times has he saved your ass huh? , he has always protected you and this is the thanks he gets. He has found someone he is happy with and you tear him down to make yourself feel better. Yuuhe was right when he said you were manipulative.” Yuuhe turned from where Sango was yelling at the miko, a powerful demon ora was coming and fast, when he heard a snort he turned to look at kagome

“It looks like your lovers coming” she said snidely with barely hidden disgust, Inuyasha cringed away from her, curling himself up even more in the corner.

A cloud of dust stopped in front of kaede’s shack, the door was thrown open as a sweaty and tired Kouga entered the room out of breath. Seeing Inuyasha huddled in the corner and the waves of depression and despair coming from his body he rushing to his side and enfolded the small body in his arms, blood red eyes stared at kagome in pure loathing and hate

“Female what have you done to my mate.”

Laughing kagome stood, pointing her finger at the couple

“Well you sure got here fast, scared your little whore would spread his legs for another.” Kouga looked at kagome in shock and disgust, he couldn’t believe he had once wanted to mate with her, she was as foul as naraku. Pulling Inuyasha to his feet so that his mate was standing by his side he looked at the other humans to see if they felt the same way. His eyes landed on a handsome male standing close to them, he had silver and black hair, the roots being black. It couldn’t be no longer then a few inches, three at the most. Calculating emerald green eyes’ stared at him knowingly, when his mate whined softly the male began to approach them, thinking he was a threat kouga growled deeply in the back of his throat. The sound practically vibrating the whole room.

“I mean you or your mate no harm, and Inuyasha is just a friend, you having nothing to worry about. I only want to help” Yuuhe said as the agitated wolf demon turned blood red eyes’ on him.

Not trusting the male Kouga backed up against the wall in the hut, his slightly red eyes bled completely red, blue slitted irises stared at him. A violent jyaki surrounded him making a shield of sorts the other occupants stared in shock. They had not known that Kouga was this strong

“Stop Kouga, Yuuhe is a friend please don’t fight him” Inuyasha said, his voice muffled in Kouga’s neck. Red eyes looked between the two then the jyaki was gone as fast as it had appeared, once red eyes turned back to the ocean blue they were before. Kouga never let go of Inuyasha, if anything his grip tightened.

“ Have your whore Kouga, I know longer have need of him. He is nothing more then a common wench, ready to spread his thighs for anyone for a pretty penny. Though they actually get pain, he played the whore for free, makes you wonder what else he will do.” that said kagome turned and dashed from the hut, the jewel shards that she did have were tainted black with her corrupt and evil soul.

All of the occupants in the room save for Yuuhe stood in shock at where there once friend turned enemy had been, Kouga looked at Inuyasha as the hanyou trembled violently in his arms, his mate was so shaken he was going into shock.

“Is there any place that I can put Inuyasha? He can barely stand?” nodding Yuuhe led the two demons to another hut right across from where they were, opening the straw door Yuuhe motioned for them to enter.

“I’ll leave you two, in the morning we need to talk.” that said Yuuhe turned and left the wolf and hanyou.

Gently laying Inuyasha on the futon in the room Kouga began to remove his outer haori(think this is what it’s called), the distraught feelings that his mate felt were tangible in the room. Leaning down he kissed the hanyou’s trembling lips softly

“None of what she said is true inu-koi, you are very special to me and you’re my mate. If I didn’t think highly of you would I have mated with you?” gently brushing a few silver strands of hair that had fallen in Inuyasha’s face away kouga looked lovingly at his mate

“You are truly beautiful, no one can say other wise.” that said Kouga leaned down once more and captured Inuyasha’s lips is a soft sensual kiss, his clawed hand tangling in the silver locks pulling the slightly trembling body closer to him. Slowly braking off the kiss, Kouga looked at his mate. Inuyasha was slightly panting, his cheeks flushed a cherry red, golden eyes the color of molten stared back into Kouga’s own ocean blue eyes with barely restrain lust and passion.

“Then show me, show me that I mean something to you, love me as only you can. Please Kouga, I . . . I need to feel you, in me, around me, I need to feel connected to you in only the way that you can provide.” that said Inuyasha laid back on the futon, his hands reaching for the tie that held his hakama up, pausing he looked up at Kouga who had reached and stopped his hand’s decent.

“No little puppy let me, this is for you, and I aim to please.”he said with a wicked grin as he began to undress said hanyou. Inuyasha keened softly in the back of his throat and arched his back as Kouga ran skilled hands down his side. Gasping in sheer abandon as the wolf licked and suckled his pulse point right above his jugular and mating mark. Overcome with lust and passion Inuyasha tilted his head back and rubbed his body sensually against his mate making all kinds of wanton and kinky sounds.
Kouga moaned in the back of his throat at the sounds Inuyasha made, he truly loved them, the way his silver hair contrasted with his pale skin, the arch of his neck, the way he moved beneath him, gods he loved it all. Taking his hands Kouga spread Inuyasha’s legs, settling his body in-between them he rubbed his body against Inuyasha’s. Slim thighs spread even more, Kouga hovered over Inuyasha, his cock in line with his mates entrance. Reaching over Inuyasha’s head he grabbed a flask with mineral oil, coating three fingers liberally. He circled the tight ring before inserting one finger to the knuckle.

“If I weren’t a hanyou my ass would really be hurting right about know” snorting he stood and looked around for his clothe, grabbing his hakama and haori he waited for Kouga to get dress, or at least enough to go to the hot spring right out of the village.

“Hurry up mangy wolf” Inuyasha said as he smirked at a half-dressed Kouga, well less half dressed Kouga then usual.

“Coming mutt”
“Hey, I’m not a mutt”

“Yea you are, you’re my mutt” Kouga said as he kissed Inuyasha and followed him out of the hut toward the hot springs.

“Whatever, stupid ookami.”

Yuuhe sat up in irritation, yes Inuyasha was his friend and he liked the hanyou, but gods did him and the wolf youkai have to rut right next to his hut. True he had known Inuyasha for only a few days but he felt as if they were kindred spirits, as if he had known him his whole life. Needing to clear his head Yuuhe pulled on a zip up a baby blue cotton sweater, putting on his shoes he left his hut with his swords and journeyed into the forest outlining the village. Walking silently so as not to disturb the sleeping wildlife Yuuhe came upon a clearing, in the center was a hot spring and several large boulders surrounded it making it hard to see if someone was in it.
Walking to one of the larger rocks, he jumped up on it and sat down.
So much had happened that day that it was finally catching up to him. He had met and fought Inuyasha’s older brother who was really hot but a total asshole, had found out his friend was mated and was in some kind of condition, kagome had gone crazy and had disappeared no doubt to the evil hanyou Naraku, it seemed like everything was falling apart, maybe he shouldn’t have come down the well, so far all he had done was bring misfortune and chaos.
‘ Inuyasha could really be sick and it could be my fault, what if I unknowingly bought back a sickness that only effected youkai, but that couldn’t be, sesshoumaru made it seem like he was pregnant, but that’s impossible. Right? Males can’t get pregnant, well not normal males. Maybe it’s a youkai thing, I mean I can have babies only because I’m a freak of nature. Not that I don’t want kids, but for crying out loud who would want a guy that can have offspring. ’ Sighing he folded his legs so that he was sitting indian style, resting his head on his hands he looked at the moon. What had Inuyasha’s brother said, before he could finish his musing he felt the ki of Inuyasha’s brother sesshoumaru coming. Jumping from his rock he withdrew his swords and stood on guard, whatever the daiyoukai wanted he would have to go through him first.
Sesshoumaru entered the clearing that lead to the village in which his hanyou brother resided. Scowling in a very un-Sesshoumaru fashion he swore under his breath, it wasn’t enough that he was a hanyou and a constant reminder of the fact that his father had an affair with a human female that had ultimately lead to his mother’s abandonment of him, no the stupid mutt had to go and breed with a low level, filthy wolf. ‘ That stupid mutt, must he bring even more shame on the Inu No Taisho name. Anyone would have been better then the filthy wolf, what was he, the seventh sound of lord Takenda. True the wolf is royalty, but nothing more the another son, he had no standing in the demon world and is the weakest of the Hatori clan’ stopping when he saw a silhouette in the clearing he walked closer, his right hand on the hilt of Toukujin. It was the human he had previously battled, the stupid boy stood before him ready to fight him if he went farther, pathetic ningen, what did he expect to do. He had already defeated him once, had he not learned his lesson.
“Ningen move out of my way or die” narrowing his eye’s Sesshoumaru watched as his opponent got into a fighting stance, he did not have time for this. He had to deal with Inuyasha.

“I will not allow you to pass if you intend to harm Inuyasha”

“You dare defy me mortal”

“I dare to if you mean harm to my friend”

Sesshoumaru stopped walking when he was about six feet from the human, no one had ever defied him, no one alive that was. This slip of a boy stood before him determined to stop him for the sake of a person he barely knew.

“Why do you protect him, you do not even know him?”

“I know enough”

Getting irritated Sesshoumaru drew his sword, he would kill him, even if the boy was a mystery.

“Why do you wish to harm Inuyasha, has he not already suffered enough? You his own brother hates him for reasons no one knows, you who should have protected him have scorned him, the only one he had every trusted. You are dishonorable”

Sesshoumaru saw red, this foolish human had the audacity to call his honor into play, snarling in the back of his throat he attacked.

Swords clashed as both men battled, they way they moved and flowed around and against each other was like poetry in motion. Every twist and turn was met with a counter strike, their strength was almost equal as they charged and dodged with cutting accuracy.

“Why do you hate him so, it was not his fault that he was born into this world. If he had the choice, I am sure he would have preferred to have been your full-blooded brother. He had no choice, he is innocent and you should not punish him for something he had no control over.”Yuuhe said as he ducked sesshoumaru’s attack, flipping back out of range he crouched low to the grown as he propelled his body through the air and attacked sesshoumaru.
“What do you know ningen, he is the proof of our father’s betrayal, how else am I supposed to treat him? A hanyou, that has brought shame upon our family by allowing a filthy wolf to be alpha over him. Allowing himself to be impregnated.”came the young lords reply, twisting his body to the side barely missed the twin deadly blades that tried to decapitate him, the human was good, better then he thought.

“It shouldn’t matter that he had taken Kouga as his mate, the wolf is quite strong, give them a chance.”sweeping down low Yuuhe kicked sesshoumaru in his shin’s making him fall forward, kicking up he kneed the lord of the west in the jaw hard, bringing his sword up he barely missed slashing sesshoumaru across the chest.

“I listen to know one, least of all a ningen.”Sesshoumaru growled out as he spit some blood out, he had barely missed the last attack, whoever the male was he was strong. Jumping back so that he was out of range they both stood and stared at each other, several of his attacks had harmed the human male as had his harmed him.

“What is your name human?”

“Yuuhe, my name is Yuuhe Takahashi,”

“Very well Yuuhe Takahashi, you have made a valid point. I am not one to say that if I have been wrong I will not correct it, but know this if you did not posses the strength and power that you have for a ningen I would kill you” That said the ethereal lord ascended to the heavens on his cloud of mist. As soon as Sesshoumaru disappeared Yuuhe fell to the ground, his arms shook, his breath came out in pants. He would not have been able to defeat Inuyasha’s brother, he knew this, the demon lord was just too strong.
Once his breath returned, he stood slowly and began to walk toward the village, but stopped, there in the distance was Inuyasha and Kouga walking toward him, no doubt to use the hot spring. Hiding his ki and covering his scent Yuuhe jumped up into a tree and raced along the tops to the village, tomorrow would be interesting, especially if Inuyasha’s elder half brother changed his mind about the hanyou. Landing silently at the edge of the village he entered, sighing Yuuhe made his way to his tent, he was glad that he had bypassed Inuyasha, he really couldn’t deal with the questions nor the smell of sex that would have surrounded the two.
