“Are you sure Kagome-sama won't mind?”
“Keh! Her fault for just leaving them lying around in the first place!”
Miroku shrugged his shoulders and eyed the small bag that Inuyasha held in his claws.
It was both transparent and coloured, and it had writing over it.
But it wasn't the appearance of the bag which drew his attention. It was the contents. They were in various shapes and sizes, all as alluring as the next. They were food, Miroku knew, but what kind he wasn't quite sure.
“What are they called again?” he asked Inuyasha.
“Candy”
“Hmm, what to they taste like?” Miroku continued to inquire as his hand twitched closer.
“I don't know,” Inuyasha merely shrugged.
Miroku sighed in exasperation and then his face lit up. “I'll go first.”
“You always go first,” the hanyo joked, leaning closer to Miroku and gave his earlobe a quick nick with his teeth. Miroku huffed indignantly at the insinuation and glared at him.
“Open it!”
Inuyasha slashed the top of the bag open with his claws.
Miroku inspected the contents with a critical eye. “Hmm...” He finally picked out a luridly blue 'candy' shaped like some animal. He sniffed at it and then popped it into his mouth.
“Mmhh... Sweet! You should try one...”
“Definitely...”
Miroku had time to squeak as Inuyasha pounced on him and stuck his tongue into his mouth, kissing him fiercely.
Tasting him hungrily.
The hanyo ran his tongue along the inside of his cheeks, up and down his palate and then entwined it with his. It felt as if the hanyo was craving for a taste of him as much as the sweet.
Inuyasha withdrew, licking at the sides of Miroku's mouth as he did so, savouring every bit of taste he was able to get from his lover.
“You're right, definitely sweet...”
