Chapter 5

Sesshomaru was at his office working on some files that his receptionist had just brought in. However he wasn’t having as much luck with it since his mind was somewhere else. ‘I cant let this get to me’ he thought to himself. All he could think about was that incident he did with Rin in the kitchen. He had no idea why he had done that, maybe to prove that their was no feelings between them or maybe something else. Sesshomaru was never really into the relation type thing since none of his other relationships ever worked. His younger brother already had a girlfriend and he was only nineteen.

Sesshomaru’s younger brother is called Inuyasha and happens to be only Sesshomaru’s half brother. They had the same father but different mothers and because Sesshomaru didn’t like his step mother he didn’t like his step brother. When Sesshomaru’s mother died when he was only six. Inutaisho had soon married a year after his mothers death and when Sesshomaru was twelve Inuyasha was born. Sesshomaru never accepted his step mother or brother and will never accept them.

A few hours later Sesshomaru decided to leave the building and go on a lunch break. He was waiting for the limo to come when a whole bunch of news reporters surrounded him. “Mr Hirashi is it true that you are in a sexual relationship with this teenage girl”, “are you going to get married”, “how has the girls parents taken to this relationship” Sesshomaru kept getting questions from each reporter. Sesshomaru just ignored them and saw his limo pulling up, the security guards were trying to make a path way for Sesshomaru through the crowd. “Mr Hirashi”, “Mr Hirashi” they kept calling him. “Drive” Sesshomaru said and the limo drove of with a very exhausted president.

When Rin arrived at school that morning, nearly all the girls were whispering things to one another why she passed them. At lunch many of the girls were asking Rin questions and Riku kept telling them to go away. Rin wasn’t sure how much more she was going to take and it had only been one day. Being asked so many questions about something that isn’t even true gets very frustrating.

School soon ended and Rin was heading to the front gate when a whole bunch of news reporters surrounded her this time. “Miss, how long have you and Mr Hirashi been in a relationship for” a reporter asked. Tones of questions were thrown at her, Rin just had to get away so she ran for it. The reporters were running after her but after a few minutes of running she soon lost them which was a relief. “I cant take this, oh I knew this would happen” she said to herself, Rin had run down an alley way. She just braked down and cried in her lap, no matter how much she wanted to get out of it, it would not change anything.

“Well, well, well what do we have here” Rin heard a voice, she looked up and a man wearing a bandanna was standing right near her. “Hey it seems like we got a real babe” another guy said looking at her as if she was some sweet chocolate he could eat. Rin was getting rather scared ‘what should I do’ she asked herself. The first thing that came to her head was ‘RUN’ she stood up and tried to run for it when one of them grabbed her hair. “Oh no you don’t your not going any were” and the man picked her up. Rin screamed and started to punch and kick him when he was holding her over his shoulder.

They then arrived at a worn down ware house and walked inside throwing Rin to the ground. “Stay out here and stand guard” the bandanna guy told the other man. “Now we can have some fun” the guy said with the bandanna ‘what’s going to happen to me’ she thought. Rin was so scared that she couldn’t move, Rin tried to get up when he pinned her down on the ground. “No please stop” Rin begged him, she was struggling underneath him but he was to strong for her. Rin started to feel his hand under her skirt, she was kicking her legs when a slap came across her face. “Stop squirming you bitch and stay still” he said to her. She was struggling so hard “NO, NO PLEASE STOOOPPPP” tears were coming down her face.

Just before the guy could go any further and take her clothes of and take her innocents away. The man was thrown back and rolled along the floor. When Rin couldn’t feel that heavy body on top of her anymore she opened her eyes and standing right near her was Sesshomaru. Rin was shacking, Sesshomaru bent down and placed his jacket over her. “How did you find me” she asked still surprised that Sesshomaru was here but was happy that he had come. “I heard a scream coming from this direction when I was walking out of a café” Sesshomaru told her. Tears started pouring out of Rin’s eyes and before Sesshomaru could even blink Rin had fallen into his arms and was crying.

Sesshomaru looked down at her and could tell how frightened she must have been. A feeling inside him was telling him how relieved he was that he got their just in time. The last thing Rin needed was having in the papers that she had nearly been rapped. It was already bad enough that she was actually being in the newspaper because people believed she was Sesshomaru’s girlfriend.

That night back at the big mansion, Rin had gone to bed early because she was very tied. Sesshomaru was sitting in the lounge room thinking about what had happened that day and how Rin was going to cope. He was stressed out that something so terrible had happened to her even though she hadn’t been stripped from her clothes. He had promised her family that he would take care of her and protect her not just from the press but from anything. Sesshomaru wasn’t sure if he should tell Rin’s parents what happened that day. The only thing he could do was talk to Rin the next day and ask her if she wants her parents to know.

When morning came Rin was all ready for school and it surprised Sesshomaru how calm she was. Rin seemed to be just her ordinary self it was as if nothing had ever happened the other day. He surly thought that maybe Rin would have wanted to stay home but she was already up and ready to go. Sesshomaru had never met such a strong girl before and even at such a young age. Looking at her, he wasn’t even sure if he could now bring it up with her maybe Rin just wanted to forget about it. So Sesshomaru decided to just leave it and when Rin wanted to talk he would be their to listen.

“Rin, I have to go to a business dinner tomorrow night so you will have to come with me” Sesshomaru told her. “Okay” Rin replied, she then heard a car beep which had to be her ride to school. Sesshomaru watched her leave the house and after he drank the rest of his coffee he to went as well.

“So your going to your first dinner party, are you excited” Riku said, “well I guess I am a little but I am also nervous as well” Rin replied. “Don’t worry Rin everything will be fine just be yourself” Riku told her. ‘Yeah I guess things will go fine’ Rin thought to herself before they entered the school building. Things weren’t as bad any more, the girls had slowly stopped asking her questions and she hadn’t seen any press around. Though she didn’t know that there was actually a reporter hiding and taking pictures of her.

School was rather tiring and she hoped that the last day wouldn’t even though it was a Friday she had that dinner party to go to. Their was only one thing, she didn’t have anything nice to wear, so Rin decided to talk to Sesshomaru about that. Rin saw a black car up ahead when she then saw two men wearing black suits and black sunglasses with little ear pieces in their ears standing near it. To Rin they looked like the men in black from the movie which sort of made her laugh a little bit. “Miss Pearl my name is Den and this is my partner Craig, we have been hired by Mr Hirashi to be your personal body guards” Den told her. “It is nice to meet you both but please just call me Rin” she replied.

“From now on Miss Rin we will be picking you up to and from school and will transport you when you go out, Mr Hirashi has pacifically informed us to stay with you at all times when out in public” Den told her. Rin was rather surprised that she was going to have body guards following her when out of the house. She understood why Sesshomaru had gone quite far with the whole protection thing. Though Rin thought that having them around all the time might not be all that necessary, driving in a car was rather better than a limo since it wouldn’t draw to much attention. Of course Den and Craig will, especially by wearing a black suit and a ear piece, who knows what some people would think. She would have to have a little talk with Sesshomaru about them following her everywhere.

When they got home, someone opened the door for Rin and she hopped out and headed to the front door. She walked in and went straight up to her room, Rin heard footsteps behind her and noticed that Den and Craig were following her. “I thought you said you will only be my body guards when I go out” she asked. “Oh I am terribly sorry I forgot to tell you but we were also told to stand guard outside your bedroom” Den told her. “Okay I am deffiently having a chat with Mr Hirashi once he gets home” Rin said walking the rest of the way upstairs with Den and Craig following her.

Rin walked into her room and shut the door behind her, why her two body guards standard guard outside her door. She flopped on her bed and looked up at the ceiling “man, he has deffiently gone a bit over board” Rin said to herself. ‘I guess he is just doing it to protect me’ she thought, “he must have felt really bad that something happened to me” Rin said to herself why sitting up. A knock was soon heard on her door “come in”, the door opened and Jaken walked in holding a box. “Master wanted me to give you this, it is for tomorrow nights dinner” Jaken told her and placed it on Rin’s bed. “Thank you” she replied and Jaken walked out shutting the door behind him. Rin looked at the box, it was white and had a large pink ribbon around it, “I wonder what it is” she asked herself. Rin untied the ribbon and took the lid of, her eyes widened on what she saw. “Oh my stars” she said, it was a dress and the most beautiful dress she had ever seen in her entire life.

Rin took it out of the box to have a better look, she put it against herself and looked in the mirror. It was a light pink strap dress which went up to the knees, it had a small slit on the right at the front. Their was a lacy ribbon that went around the waist and at the front was a small white flower of a rose. She then saw a small card which was in the box, Rin picked it up and started to read what it said.

Dear Rin

Wear this dress for tomorrow nights dinner.

Sesshomaru

“I cant believe he bought me this and I wonder if he will allow me to call him by his first name” she said to herself. “Oh I cant wait to wear this” and she started twirling in little circles why still holding it against her. At that moment Rin felt so happy and was looking forward to the dinner that she will be going to with Sesshomaru. Many thoughts came to her head like will they dance together or even hold hands. The only way Rin would know was when tomorrow night came and she hoped that it would come quick.
