Chapter 5

Now that Rin was Sesshomaru’s mate she was now sleeping in his chambers. Every night when they were in bed Sesshomaru would rub Rin’s stomach why she was asleep. Knowing that in just a few months he would be a father. “Only three more months” he whispered to himself “just three more”.

Three months later

“Alright Rin now push” Ishu was telling her, Rin had been in labour for quite a while now. Sesshomaru was waiting outside the room pacing up and down he could hear Rin’s screams. He knew that she must be in a lot of pain right now. He wanted to just barge in their and hold her but Ishu had told him to wait outside. All the servants could hear Rin’s screams through the entire castle. They all knew that soon their masters child will be born any moment now.

“Come on Rin your almost their just one more push” Ishu knew that Rin’s body was getting tied. It would just take one more push and she hoped Rin had enough energy to do it. “Come on Rin you can do it” she tried to encourage her. “AAAHHHHHHH” Rin screamed, Sesshomaru heard Rin’s loud scream he was about to go in but before he could get to the door handle he heard a baby cry. At last his son was born “it’s a boy Rin it’s a beautiful baby boy” Ishu told her. She wrapped the small pup in a blanket and handed him to Rin.

Rin took her baby in her arms and tears started to roll down her face. Ishu walked out of the room and saw Sesshomaru still standing in the hall way. “How is she” he asked her “she is fine and don’t worry the baby is alright as well, I think you should go in their and meet your son” she told him. “Thankyou” and Sesshomaru walked into the room and shut the door behind him. He saw Rin holding a small bundle in her arms. Rin’s tears had dried of and she was now humming to their new son.

Sesshomaru walked over to her and saw a small head with silver hair from out of the blanket. “Isn’t he just perfect” Rin told him “yes he is” he bent down and kissed Rin on the forehead. “Would you like to hold him” she asked him and by the look on his face Rin knew he wanted to. She handed their son to Sesshomaru and he cradled his pup in his arms. The baby’s eyes fluttered open and they where the same colour as Rin’s. A nice light brown which held a gentle and strong soul. Though their was one thing about his pup which was different he didn’t have dog ears on his head like Inuyasha does. He had thought that when his son was born he would have the same dog ears as his half brother. But he didn’t instead he had pointy ears like him, it surprised him he had no idea how it was even possible.

Though by his pups scent it smelt more like a full blooded demon than a half-breed. However he still had human blood in him no matter what ears he had. He was glad that his son had beared the blue crescent moon on his forehead. Also he had already had silver hair just like Sesshomaru’s it was his eyes that he had gotten from his mother. “What should we name him” Rin asked him, she was happy to see that her mate had indeed accepted their son as she knew he would. “We shall call him Saskai” he replied. “Saskai that is a nice name” Rin said they had now named their son which they both loved.

After about a month since Saskai was born Sesshomaru had told the other three lords about his new born son. Chensu didn’t mind hearing the news but the other two lords were not happy. They had many meetings with Sesshomaru discussing what he will choose either let his son be his heir or not.

After hearing the news they had decided not to go against Sesshomaru because he had mated with a human and then ended up having a child with her. The only reason why they decided on that was because Sesshomaru had told them how Saskai looked more and seemed more like a full blooded demon. However that still wasn’t enough for the lord of the south and north to disagree about having his son as the heir to the western lands because Saskai still had human blood in him.

After so many discussions with them he had still not given them his decision. They would just have to wait until Sesshomaru would decide. Of course he had plenty of time for that it wasn’t as if he was going to step down anytime soon.

“Sesshomaru are you alright” Rin had walked into his study she had been rather worried about him. “I am fine” he replied to her why looking at some scrolls which where all laid over his table. “Well that’s good because I was getting rather worried about you and and I thought maybe I had done something to upset you” she told him looking at the floor. Sesshomaru could see the sadness in her eyes since she thought it was her fault.

He stood up from were he was sitting and walked over to her, he then put his hands on her shoulders. Even though Rin was only 14 she was only up to Sesshomaru’s waist, she looked up at him. “Are you angry with me” she asked him, “no Rin you haven’t done anything the only thing you have done is loving me and being the mother of my son I could never blame you for anything” he told her with such passion in his eyes. “I am sorry to make you worry I have just had a lot on my mind lately but it has nothing to do with you ok” he said.

Rin shook her head, happy that she hadn’t done anything wrong. All she wanted to do is make her lord happy. They then both heard a cry coming from their son’s room “I will go see to him” Rin told him. She was about to walk of when Sesshomaru grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him and kissed her. He had to bend down because he was much taller than she was. They soon broke apart and then went their separate ways.

Sesshomaru was amazed at how Rin was such a wonderful mother even at a young age. He hopped that one day she will bare him more of his offspring.

Sorry that that the chapter isn’t very long I will make the next one longer though.
