“It all started two years ago, on my 15th birthday when I fell down the well in the mini shrine …” Kagome started to explain.
She then went on to tell Riyo all of the things that had happened in the past, up until when she had come running home, crying.
“… I saw him by the god tree kissing HER and it broke my heart, so I came home.” finished Kagome, sadly.
“Now why didn’t you tell me that when we first met? I would have come help.” Said Riyo.
“I thought you would have thought I was crazy.” Kagome replied.
“If someone thinks that something is real, then who am I to say that they’re wrong?” Riyo countered.
“I see your point.” Kagome said.
“Now, tomorrow morning I’ll meet you in front of the shrine, and I’ll join you in the Feudal Era.” Riyo said, more as a statement than a question.
“Ok, but I don’t know if you’ll be able to pass through the time portal…” Kagome said, with a little bit of doubt.
“Don’t worry about that. I have a plan for that.” Riyo said confidently.
“What is it?” Kagome asked, curious.
“I don’t have time to explain right now, I have to get ready.” Riyo said, as he started to get up.
“Bye.” Kagome said, anxious for tomorrow to arrive.
“See ya.” Riyo said, as he walked out of her room.
Kagome watched him leave through her bedroom window, and kept staring after him, long after his taillights had disappeared into the rain.
