The Final Fight

Hello once again!!!!! I don't own Inuyasha or any of

the characters associated with the show!! If I did

Inuyasha and Miroku would both be in my bed right

now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it would be fantastic!







I want to thank all of my reviewers once again.

I appreciate all of you and the time you take to

give me a review. I read them all and I take them

all to heart even the not so nice ones. :) Because I

believe everyone has something to say and everyone

should be heard. Thanks again and you all are

awesome and beautiful!!! On with the chapter!







This chapter contains violence and death. Nothing

too bad, but it's just a warning. It may seem a little

rushed, but I have a hard time writing the fighting

scenes. I hope you still enjoy it though! Thanks to

all my readers!!!!







Chapter 5: Death Strike

















Inuyasha was running towards the direction of Kagomes scent. He knew



she was near and he needed to see her now. No sooner had the thought



crossed his mind when a flash of green caught his eye.



"Kagome!!!"



A startled Kagome turned around and prepared to attack, but



relaxed when she saw it was only Inuyasha. The feeling of joy swept over



her and she ran to him and threw herself into his arms.



"Inuyasha! You're ok. I didn't want to leave you there, but I had to



go after Kikyo. Please don't be angry with me."



Inuyasha was taken back by Kagomes sad tone. Hours ago she was a



raging ass kicking machine, what had gotten into her?



He gently took her face into his hands and stared deeply into her



worried, but warm eyes.



"Kagome...whats wrong?"



A single tear made its way down her cheek as she took a deep



breath.



"Inuyasha...I just realized...that I may not be alive much longer, and



I guess I'm just afraid."



Inuyasha grinned half heartedly at the beautiful girl in front of him.



"You don't need to be afraid.....I will let you fight, but if you get



in a jam I will protect you. Thats my promise always to you."



Kagome stared into his golden orbs and smiled. She knew he



would always protect her and for that she was forever grateful.



"Well Inuyasha, I think its time we kick Kikyos ass."



Inuyasha smiled wide and hugged Kagome to his chest.



"I couldn't agree with you more wench."

Miroku and Sango were ready to kick the shit out of whatever was



about to come stumbling through the bushes. No demon was



going to get the best of them.



"Get ready Miroku."



Miroku smirked and got into his fighting stance.



"I was born ready Sango."



As the figure stepped out from the bushes Miroku wasted no time



pouncing on it.



"Sango I got it!!! Sango help!!!"



He looked up at a very cross Sango.



"Miroku!! You Moron! You're smothering Kaede!!!"



Miroku looked down at figure and quickly pushed himself up off



of it as soon as he saw it was indeed Lady Kaede.



"Lady Kaede. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me."



He bowed as he spoke, hoping to have the moment forgotten.



"Miroku...ye are nothing but a bastard."



Mirokus jaw dropped at the harsh language coming from her mouth.



Sango could only laugh and embrace Kaede in a warm hug.



"It's good to see you Lady Kaede. What brings you here."



Kaede walked to the edge of the forest and took a deep breath.



"I think we should talk about Kikyo and Kagome."



Miroku and Sango glanced at each other and shrugged.



"Is something wrong?"



Kaede looked at the two and a small frown graced her aged



features.



"The two are fighting....they have been for a while now. I can



feel their life signs pulsing throughout my whole being. And



I don't mean they are arguing, they are actually physically fighting.



They are apart for now, but......"



Sango took a few steps towards Kaede and gently put a hand on



her shoulder.



"But what?"



Kaede turned herself to face both Sango and Miroku.



"Something wicked this way comes."

"Inuyasha?"



He didn't look at Kagome, but he could still sense her fear.



"What is it wench?"



She looked at the ground as they continued to walk at a fast pace.



"Is she near us right now? Can you pick up her scent?"



He turned his face to the sky and took a deep breath.



"Yes, but we are ahead of her by a little ways."



Kagome nodded her head and kept her eyes focused on the path



in front of them. She was going to get Kikyo good. Stupid bitch



was going to get the beating of a lifetime.



Inuyasha noticed the shift in Kagomes scent as well as her stride.



She no longer smelled of fear, but of determination and anger. Her



strides became longer and she began to walk faster. He knew she



was ready, and this time he wasn't going to stop her from doing



what had to be done.



Time continued to pass, but soon they came upon the opening



to the village. A breath of relief was passed from the both of them.



They saw Miroku, Sango, and Shippou all seated around a



speaking Kaede. They approached the group slowly not wanting



to startle them. Kagome had to hold back a giggle when she



saw the serious expressions on all of her friends faces, finally a



small giggle escaped her lips and everyone turned around in a



panic with frowns, that were soon replaced with smiles.



"Kagome!!!!!!"



A hyper Shippou threw himself into Kagomes arms and snuggled



into her embrace.



"Kagome we were so worried! And now we know we have reason to



be."



Kagome gave Shippou a strange look.



'Does he know?'



Kagome looked at Kaede and her thought was answered as Kaede



nodded at her. She gently set Shippou on the ground and



stretched her arms.



Miroku and Sango approached the two with warm smiles.



"Inuyasha, Kagome...it's good to see you are both ok.



Kagome you look a little rough, but it looks good on you."



Kagome laughed at Mirokus comment and noticed a small



laugh come out of Inuyasha as well. It felt good to be



with the group again. Sango hugged Kagome and Miroku



talked with Inuyasha about the days events. Both were



so into their own activities that no one noticed the dead



priestess make her way into the village.



It was Kaede who noticed first.



"Something wicked...is here."



Everyone looked in the direction Kaede was staring and saw



Kikyo walk closer to the group.



Kagome broke away from the group and made her way towards



Kikyo.



"Prepare to die Kikyo."



Kikyo spat at Kagome.



"You are worthless shit Kagome!!! I've told you once and



I'll tell you again. No one will miss you, you being dead will



be a favor to everyone."



Kagome launched herself at Kikyo and tackled her to the



ground. She laid a few punches into her side causing the



breath to leave Kikyos already dead body, but Kikyo was not



one to go down easy. She slapped Kagome across the face and



split her lip in the process.



"You bitch!!!"



Kagome raised her hand and slashed across Kikyos face with



her nails leaving long deep gashes. Kagome was proud of



the damage.



Kikyo kicked Kagome and she flew off of her across the dirt.



Kikyo glanced around and saw that everyone was watching and



ready to step in if Kagome got into too much trouble. She was



going to need all the help she could get in a few moments.



Kikyo saw the bow and arrows sitting against an old tree and



raced for them. Kagome was still on the ground there was no way



she would get to her in time. A smirk made it's way across her



features, but was quickly wiped off when a fist came into contact



with her face. She stumbled backwards and held her face in her



hands. She looked at who had hit her and was suprised at what



she saw.



"How could you Kaede? You're my sister!!!"



Kaede threw her head back and laughed.



"Ye were always a crazy bitch in my book."



Kikyo stepped back in fear and crashed into Kagomes body.



Kagome smiled at Kaede and gave her a thumbs up.



All the others were just as impressed as her.



Kagome twisted Kikyos arm behind her back and shoved her



into the side of the hut the others had been using as shelter



for the past few days. The side of Kikyos head split open



and she cried out in pain. Before Kagome could do anymore



damage Kikyo grabbed a piece of wood that had broken when



Kagome bashed her head into it. She raised the wood up and



brought it down shoving it into Kagomes leg. Kagome let go of



Kikyo and stumbled backwards in pain grasping the spot where



the wood had impaled her flesh.



"Ah..shit..."



She grabbed onto the wood and pulled it from her leg, blood



pouring from the wound.



"Thats it!! I've had enough of this pansy shit!! This time someone



is going down for good!"



Kagome rushed Kikyo and knocked her to the ground only feet away



from the bow and arrows. She punched and slashed with all her might



trying to ignore the stinging punches that were thrown back at her.



'I can't take it anymore! She has to die!!!!!'



She could hear the gasps of everyone behind her and wondered what



the two really looked like fighting. Her nose and lip were both bleeding



now and her eye was begining to feel tight and bruised. She wouldn't



give in...or give up. This was it. Kikyos face was also damaged, not the



same as Kagomes, but it held the wounds of battle. Kagome noticed



Kikyo begin to tire, but neither of them stopped. Rolling back and forth,



one dominating the other and then switching again.



Finally Kagome was ontop and she held Kikyos hands at her sides as



she struggled beneath her.



"This is it Kikyo, you will be defeated."



She pulled back her arm and punched Kikyo as hard as she could



in the face, harder then she had ever done.



"THAT'S FOR ME AND ALL THE PAIN YOU'VE CAUSED!!!"



She laid another hit directly to her face and this time she heard her



nose break, and Kikyo cried out in agony.



"THATS FOR ALL THE SHIT YOU'VE PUT EVERYONE THROUGH!! SANGO,



MIROKU, SHIPPOU, AND KAEDE!!!!!!!!!!!!"



She felt Kikyo stop struggling under her and she looked up at the bows



in front of her. She reached and grabbed one and right away it began



to glow a bright blue. She raised the arrow up and hesitated for only



a moment to look at Kikyos face. It held fear and hate, and now she



would get hers. She brought down the arrow and stabbed it deep into



Kikyos chest where her heart would be.



"AND THATS FOR INUYASHA!!!!!!!!!"



Kikyo screamed in pain and Kagome twisted the arrow in further. Kikyos



body shook with death, but soon to Kagomes amazement it began to



turn to dust. As her face disappeared right before her, Kagome



felt a shiver travel up her spine. She was.....dead. The realization



began to dawn on Kagome and a feeling of dread took over.



She just killed someone!



She could feel everyone approach her from behind and she was



afraid of what they would think of her. They watched her kill someone.



Why didn't they try to stop her? WHY!? Tears made their way down her



face and her body was taken over by spasms from the crying. She



felt horrible, but most of all she felt relief. Now Inuyasha could



be free from her spirit and so could everyone else.



She felt Inuyasha bend down and wrap his arms around her.



"Ssshhh...It's gonna be ok Kagome. You did the right thing.



It was meant to be, you both couldn't exist at the same time."



She turned herself around and cried into Inuyashas chest.



"Thank you. Thank you for letting me do this on my own."



He gently stroked her hair and tried his best not to hold her



to tightly. She would be sore no doubt. Her face was bloody and



tearful.



"It was hard watching you fight, but we knew we couldn't interfer.



We love you Kagome and what you did was right."



He held her close and let her cry, she needed the time to



adjust emotionally. Things would be different now, and he



was looking forward to the changes.



"Kagome...we should get you to one of the huts so Kaede



can clean you up."



Kagome looked up and noticed Inuyasha was the only one



with her. He saw her searching for the others and smiled.



"They left us to be alone. They know you won't be ready



to be doing much talking. They understand Kagome."



She sighed and closed her eyes. The pain was beginning to



push through and it hurt like hell.



"Can you stand on your own?"



Inuyasha still tried to help her up, but Kagome could be



stubborn sometimes. She gasped as a sharp pain sent



her into a realm of darkness.



Inuyasha caught her in his arms and looked at her



with worry in his eyes.



"What did she do to you Kagome?"





















To Be Continued!!!!! And there is the 5th chapter!! Hopefully

it was alright! The crazy whore is dead!!! Next chapter I think

will be the lemon....and maybe the end.....I'm thinking yes.

I have some other ideas for stories I'd like to start, but I

hate starting new stories when old ones still need to be

completed!! I only wanted Kagome to fight because in

a way it was her right because it was her reincarnation!!!
