Things I Need to Point Out
Sorry, this isn't a chapter, just something I wanted to get off my chest. First of all, I would like to apologize HOW MUCH I used the 'N Word' in the first chapter. I try not to work on one chapter over the span of a couple of days because I'll forget all that I've put in it. Sorry again. But for some of you who are just plain offended by the word...well plainly... you can kiss my ass. It's a part of my culture and I accept it. I thought that I should let you guys know that the reason I use it is because it is USED.
Some have been upset because they believe that I portray black people in a bad way, that we all go around saying the ‘N Word’ to each other. Here’s a fact, we don’t always, but it is used, and how much it is used varies from environment and family. I personally have no problem with it, and I embrace the word. Instead of seeing it as a word that enslaves me, I use it as an expression depending on who you're talking to. That way I'm taking away the bondage of the word. Some people may not know this, but there is a difference between ‘nigga’ and ‘nigger’. Where I live, (Fort Worth, TX I know hard to believe) it’s used freely between ALL races. The key is status among your 'crowd' and the ending of the word. The ‘Ga’ and ‘Ger’, one will get your ass kicked, I’m sure you can figure out which one it is. Just like some people use the word ‘Dude’. If you look it up in the dictionary you’ll find it’s not really a pleasant word, but it can be used as a term of endearment. If ANYONE has a problem with it, feel free to email me (nahaujaret@yahoo.com) please title your email something like Your Fic, or something to catch my eye…or it will end up deleted…damn spam mail!! Or you can just catch me on AIM, my Sn is Feylance I’m usually on after 9 p.m.
