Chapter 5

Sesshomaru growled at that comment, he didn’t like people prying into his personal life. He grabbed her hands and pushed her back roughly on the ground, he straddled her hips. He held her neck as if he were going to choke her but instead he captured her lips in a bruising kiss “Do you still believe that I am so nice?” he asked in a mocking tone.
Anniya smirked ‘insufferable pup’ she thought and she decided to answer him truthfully. She lifted her head up and kissed him with enough force, lust, and passion to match his own. “Of course I do” she said in her own mocking tone, he growled at her and she growled back. “We cannot do anything while Rin is so close by and plus Jaken is getting closer, now if you would kindly let me go” she said cockily.
He let another growl slip past his lips but it was quickly muffled by Anniya as she kissed him again. “We’ll continue this another time” she whispered seductively in his ear and he growled on last time but all she did was roll her eyes. “If you haven’t noticed Sesshomaru, I don’t fear you. This Anniya backs down for no one. I may want you but not that bad” she said with a scuff. Jaken came back with Ah-un close behind him. “Thank you Jaken, there’s stew in that pot if your hungry” she said smiling sweetly.
“Lord Sesshomaru you look angry, what ever is the matter?” asked Jaken in fear that his Lord was falling ill. Anniya smirked “Yes, what ever is the matter Sesshomaru?” she asked. Sesshomaru stared at her and saw the humor that reflected in her eyes. The light from the fire made her eyes even more beautiful than even, it made her look more impish. Then Sesshomaru really realized just how beautiful Anniya’s eyes were. They were most peculiar in his opinion. Who had ever seen a women with ice baby blue eyes with streaks of black in them? He also noticed that her hair reminded him of a blazing fire. With its streaks of red, orange, and yellow among the endless strands of black. And her skin was a beautiful shade of caramel. To sum it all up in Sesshomaru’s eyes Anniya was the perfection of beauty.
Soon after the incident with Sesshomaru, Anniya fell into a deep sleep but it was really a trance. She was reminded of the night her father was as good as killed. When her eyes snapped open she did not she the fall colors of earth but her own version of hell. She began to run not knowing that she had awoken Sesshomaru and that he was running after her, to protect and help her. For when she looked in Sesshomaru’s direction she did not see the powerful demon lord. All she saw was the witch who might as well have killed her beloved father, Ramón. She began to scream which caused Sesshomaru to speed up; Anniya threw an energy ball at him and became a star runner. To her it was an reenactment of that terrible night. Sesshomaru had caught up with her and wrapped his arms around her (A/N: Let’s just pretend that he has both arms) and held her close. But Anniya wouldn’t calm down, she continued to kick, scream, cry, and curse at him.
“ANNIYA!” Sesshomaru’s voice came out so loud that most people now would have mistaken it as a sonic boom. The glossy look disappeared from her eyes and she slowly blinked. Her face was covered in tears and sweat as she began to hyperventilate. “I’ve got you. This Sesshomaru will let nothing happen to you” he whispered rubbing the small of her back. “Sesshomaru, I’m so sorry” she said before fainting.
When Sesshomaru brought Anniya back to their campsite both Rin and Jaken were wide awake. Rin began to cry when she saw Anniya’s lifeless body in her Lord’s arms. “She’s alive Rin, your mother will be fine but she needs rest so stay quiet for a while” he said soothingly. The small girl nodded and went to play with Ah-un. Jaken came up to Sesshomaru’s side “What happen Lord Sesshomaru?” he asked quietly. Sesshomaru just shook his head “I do not know Jaken, I do not know” he said quietly.
The next morning Anniya woke up feeling bad, not sick just bad, she couldn’t remember what happened but she knew it was bad. Sesshomaru was surprised at her waking so fast. She glanced over at Sesshomaru and she placed her head on his knee. Absentmindedly he began to stroke her head but he stopped when he realized that she was crying. He pulled her up so that she could rest in between his legs and put her head on his chest.
“Why did you run from me?” he asked her softly. She sniffled “I didn’t see you” she whispered, she didn’t want to talk about this, she never had before. “You looked right at me” he didn’t accuse her but he said it anyway. She sighed “I didn’t see you when I looked at you, I saw someone else” she said gaining her confidence. He growled and wrapped his arms around her possessively and she snorted “Jealous much? I didn’t mean it like that. When I saw you I saw the women that might as well have killed my father” she said but her voice wasn’t so confident.
“Might as well have?” he raised an eyebrow in question but he wasn’t pushing for her to go any further. “He’s frozen I guess, he can’t move, see, speak, or hear. It’s just like when Inuyasha was stuck to that tree, he was neither living nor was he dead. I sometimes think that it would be better for him to be dead, and then my mother wouldn’t have to suffer. It is not wise to tempt people with a glimpse of something that they will never have” she said sadly. This time it was Sesshomaru’s time to snort something he didn’t do often “And what about what you do to me?” he asked indignantly. Anniya laughed “Haven’t you figured it out yet? You will have me, it’s just a matter of when, where, and how” she said with a smirk. “I’m not afraid to go after what I want and I want you. You make me feel different like nobody I’ve ever been with has. You don’t care that I’m a princess, your rude to me; you growl at me, you play with me. You just not scared to play rough; I like the fact that you challenge me. The fact that I find you irresistible and insufferable at the same time doesn’t hurt either” she said with smirk
Sesshomaru laughed which was something that he hadn’t done in many years, not since before his mother died. “Play rough?” it wasn’t really a question but hearing those word come from his mouth made Anniya’s skin hot. Anniya stopped laughing something was about to happen she could feel it. She felt the familiar sensation of the gates of time being opened. Someone she knew was about to come through. “Back up, just trust me” she barked before he could have time to react to her demand. Anniya pushed herself up and began to pace in an overly large circle. Her head looking skyward like she was expecting something, and then he saw it a big purple vortex opening up above the circle that Anniya was pacing.
Anniya ran to catch the woman that was falling rapidly down from the sky. They both landed with a soft thud and Anniya quickly turned the women over, they smiled at each other as if they were friends. And then to his amazement they hug each other. “Sesshomaru!” Anniya beckoned for him to come closer as he pulled the girl up and walked her over to him. “Sesshomaru meet my god-sister, Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom” she said proudly.
A/N: Well how about that for a cliffhanger, as you’ve probably guessed each Sailor Moon character is going to come through the gates of time one by one. In my story my character Anniya is half-sisters with Sango (Inuyasha), Sailor Saturn, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Pluto. Their god-sister is Sailor Moon.
