I do not own Inuyasha. So don’t sue me cause I’m broke and I don’t have anything else to say.

Hello all out there. I hope my fans missed me while I was gone. So here it is the next chapter I finally got to a computer. I hope you guys like it cause my brain is jacked up from starting school and taking test. Oh how I hate school! Kouga and Ayame are back and everyone says a little something. (I Hope) So I’ll start writing my story right . . . about . . . NOW!

Feudal Era

Kouga and Ayame cave

Normal POV

It had been more then a week since their final battle with Naraku. Ayame was already making plans for pups and Kouga just wanted to relax. When they returned back to their cave, a celebration was thrown in their honor. Wolves from all around came, they were given presents and land and Kouga became the leader of all the wolves. (Who would have guessed it?) This particular morning when Kouga was trying to nap one of his servants came in.

" Lord Kouga." He bowed and waiting for a responds.

" Yes?" Kouga was getting irritated by that title already. " This better be good."

" I'm sorry to bother you but there is a servant of lord Sesshomaru at the entrance. He wants to speak to you my lord."

" I'll be there in a minute you’re dismissed."

Kouga watched as his servant walked out. Then he wondered what the hell would Sesshomaru want with him? Then he thought about his conversation with Inuyasha maybe it had something to do with that. He knew that only Inuyasha and the others knew where his cave was and Sesshomaru wasn't one of them. So he got out of bed stretched, yawned, and walked to the main room. Who he saw was Jaken the green little imp he noticed once before with Sesshomaru and he didn't look to happy.

" Yeah what do you want?"

" Lord Sesshomaru has summoned you and your mate to his castle."

" Why should I come?"

" It . . . has to do with his half brother In-Inuyasha."

" Oh . . . Ok wait for us outside, and we’ll be there in a second."

Jaken turned and walked out of the cave. Kouga wondered what was going on he knew that Inuyasha was ok. But why would he be with Sesshomaru. He guessed the only way he was going to get any answers is if he went their and found out for his self.

" Ayame! Can you come in here? “

" Yes." She came into the room. " What is it Kouga?"

" We have to go."

" But . . . but we just got back." Ayame started to whine.

" We're going to visit Inuyasha. At least I think we are."

" Oh you could have told me in the first place." She ran back to her room and grabbed some clothes and came back. " Well lets get going slowpoke I want to see Inuyasha."

" Yeah, yeah." He called one of his guards and informed them where they would be then they went out side and heard Jaken mumbling to his self.

" Lets go!"

" Yes right away." Jaken got up and began to walk toward his ‘lords’ castle. He couldn’t imagine why his lord would mate with Inuyasha out of all people.

Jakens thoughts

Four days back

Jaken POV

My lord Sesshomaru was coming back after a whole week he was finally coming back. I ran out to greet him. I saw him coming out of the forest I was so relieved then I saw a figure come up behind him. Who was it? I looked a little harder then I saw him Inuyasha his half brother. I was shocked what was lord Sesshomaru doing with Inuyasha? The brother he hated so much. What shocked me even more was that I saw Sesshomaru smiling my lord smiling it was impossible and Inuyasha was right behind him what was going on. I ran up to my lord and bowed down in respect and I glared at Inuyasha. I couldn’t keep my mouth shut I had to ask what was going on.

“ Lord Sesshomaru . . . ” I squeaked. “ May I speak to you in private?” Sweat was running down my face.

“ Whatever you have to say you can say in front of my mate.”

“ MA . . . MA . . . MA . . . MATE? WHAT!” All I could do was stare at them was it a dream. Because if it was a
dream I wished I would wake up.

“ Yeah didn’t you hear him mate M-A-T-E now quit looking at us like we’re aliens and get us some food! “ Inuyasha said arrogantly.

“ But . . . but. “ Before I could finish talking Lord Sesshomaru kicked me across the field.

Three days passed and every thing seemed to change. Lord Sesshomaru was more happier Rin was acting like
Inuyasha and Sesshomaru was her parents. I was still confused how could something like this happen. Then they sent me off to find Inuyasha’s friends for some important news. I wondered how they would act when they found out about Inuyasha and Sesshomaru being together.

“ Anyway tell me. Why is Sesshomaru inviting us to his castle?”

“ I was told not to tell you.”

“ Why not?”

“ Because they will inform you them selves that’s why.”

Kouga wondered what was going on. First he gets summoned to Sesshomaru castle. Second Jaken was acting all weird and angry. Third Inuyasha and Sesshomaru were together under the same roof. Something weird was going on. But he just couldn’t put his finger on it.

“ Kouga what’s wrong?” Ayame asked with a hint of worry.

“ Nothing I was just thinking.”

“ Oh.” She stared at the sky and watched the birds fly by. “ What were you thinking about?”

“ Nothing important.”

“ Well I was just thinking to. You know what I was thinking about?”

“ No.” He wasn’t really interested in knowing either.

“ I was just thinking something weird is going on.”

“ Well if something weird is going on I guess we’re going to find out.”

“ Guess so.”

They looked at the path ahead of them and wondered what they were going to find out when they got there. They continued to follow Jaken to the castle and with each step getting closer to answers or so they thought.

Inu and Sesshy castle

Normal POV

Everything was going great for Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. They were in love and Rin couldn’t have been
happier, when they came back Rin accepted Inuyasha with open arms and treated him like a parent to. Inuyasha would play games with Rin while Sesshomaru watched from under a tree. Things were going great for them, then they got some surprising news from the castle doctor. They discovered Inuyasha was pregnant, they were shocked but Sesshomaru had heard of half demons having the ability to have pups. They were happy because they were going to be a family.

When Inuyasha heard the news he decided he wanted his friends to know. He was so excited to tell them so he sent Jaken out to get them and bring them to the castle. But the more he thought about it the more worried he got that they were going to hate him for it. Inuyasha sat down on the bed and looked up at the stars.

“ What’s wrong Inuyasha?” Sesshomaru sat next to Inuyasha on the bed.

“ I was just thinking about my friends.” Inuyasha laid his head on Sesshomaru’s shoulder.

“ Then why do you sound sad?” Sesshomaru warped his arms around Inuyasha.

“ What if they hate me for this.” Inuyasha could feel tears coming to his eyes.

“ If they hate you for this then they are not worthy to be your friends.”

“ But I’ve known them for so long I can’t just forget them.”

“ Do you really think they would hate you for this Inuyasha?”

“ I don’t know.”

“ I think your thinking too hard. If they are truly your friends then they will be happy for you. Are they truly
your friends Inuyasha?”

“ Yes.”

“ Then you have nothing to worry about.”

“ I love talking to you Sesshy.”

“ Why?”

“ You always make me feel better.”

“ And you do the same for me.”

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru laid in bed snuggled in each others arm. It was amazing how in four short days they had built so much trust in each other that they could talk about everything with each other. They couldn’t even hide their feelings from each other anymore. It was like they were meant to be with each other. Inuyasha had never been this close to Kagome even after so many years.

“ Are you sad any more?”

“ No.”

“ Good.”

“ Anyway how could I be sad when I have you.” Inuyasha said sleepily.

“ Goodnight Otouto.” Sesshomaru kissed Inuyasha.

“ Goodnight Sesshy.”

Inuyasha eyes closed as he drifted off to sleep. Sesshomaru soon followed Inuyasha into the dream world.

Next morning

Kouga and Ayame Arrival

Kouga POV

“ We should be there in five minutes.” Jaken informed me

“ Finally.” I looked at Ayame which was sleeping on my back. “ Ayame wake up.”

“ Are we almost there?”

“ Five minutes more.” Ayame jumped off my back and landed beside me.

“ I can’t wait to see Inuyasha it seems like years since we all saw each other.” She said excitingly.

“ Yeah, sure years.”

“ Aren’t you happy to see him?”

“ Of course but I’m not going to go all crazy about it.”

“ That’s just the way I am deal with it.” She stuck her tongue out at me.

“ I do deal with it every day.” Ayame was about to make a smart remark. But of course Jaken had to
interrupt our little argument.

“ Um . . . I have to go get his other friends. So just continue straight and you should be there in a little while.” Jaken walked off towards the forest.

“ Sure.”

“ We’re going to be there any time soon.” Ayame was so excited.

Normal POV

They walked for a minute more. Then they saw a castle come into few and two figures standing side by side.
The two figures were Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. It was something you didn’t see every day especially since
they were supposed to hate each other. Kouga was surprised to see Inuyasha looking happy he thought that if they did make up they would still have a little hate left. He was also surprised to see a small smile on Sesshomaru face it was almost like Sesshomaru was a totally different person. They walked up the steps until they were across from each other.

“ I’m so happy to see you Inuyasha. It’s been a while.” Ayame walked up to Inuyasha and hugged him. She
thought she heard a low growl coming from Sesshomaru but was sure she imagined it. She let go of Inuyasha
and looked at Sesshomaru. “ Um hello.” She said unsure of what to say.

“ Hello.” Sesshomaru replied with a hint of unsureness.

“ I’m happy to see you to Ayame.” Inuyasha looked at Kouga. “ Aren’t you happy to see me to Kouga?”

“ Yeah I’m so very happy.” Kouga said sarcastically.

“ You’re still a mangy wolf as always.”

“ And your still the same insolent puppy.” This was their way of saying hi. “ So tell me Inuyasha what’s the
big news?”

“ Actually I’m going to tell everyone at the same time so you have to wait a little while longer.”

“ It’s always like you to make us wait.”

“ Anyways lets go eat breakfast and you can tell me how everything has been going.”

“ OK.”

They all followed Inuyasha into the dining room. They were all served food and drinks. Kouga told his story
about how he became the leader of the whole wolf pack and Inuyasha made a few smart remarks then after
that an odd silence swipe over them because they didn’t really have anything to talk about then Rin came in.

“ Good morning.” She bowed her head at each of them and sat at the table. She was told not to say anything about them becoming mates. So they all sat eating in silent with nothing to say. After breakfast Inuyasha and Sesshomaru showed Kouga and Ayame their room then they said they had to do something and left. Kouga made sure they were far enough away before he said something.

“ They’re acting weird Ayame. Don’t you think so?”

“ Yeah, but we’ll find out what’s going on.” She said while admiring herself in the mirror.

“ Yeah we will soon enough.” Kouga laid in bed wanting to sleep after his journey here.

" We need to get one of these Kouga."

" Women."

" What's that supposed to mean?"

" Whatever you want it to mean."

" Hey!"

Kouga ignored Ayame’s complaining and fell asleep.

Kaede Village

One day later

Normal POV

They all were waiting for Kagome to come. That morning Jaken came and said that Inuyasha wanting to see
them. Kagura had figured Inuyasha would be going to find Sesshomaru. Even though she figured that she was
surprised that Jaken showed up. They waited for Kagome and waited and waited until finally at 6:00 (pm) she
came looking pissed as ever. Every day she came and every day was the same question.

“ Is Inuyasha here yet?”

“ No Inuyasha is not here yet but Jaken is here.” Miroku said pointing at an angry looking Jaken.

“ Why is he here?”

“ He says that Inuyasha wants to talk to us.”

“ What? Why didn’t Inuyasha come himself that . . . that . . .”

“ Aren’t you happy your going to see him?” Shippo asked.

“ I can’t believe that dog. He’s been gone for a whole week and a half then he sends a little green monster to
take us to him.”

“ Hey what did you call me? ”

“ I swear when I see him he’ll get what’s coming to him.” Kagome said to her self ignoring Jaken.

“ Kagome?” Sango was worried that Kagome was going to go crazy.

“ What?” She looked around at all the confused eyes staring at her then she smiled and put her act on. “ Well let’s get going we don’t want to keep Inuyasha waiting now do we.”

She got up and stepped out of the hut. Everyone else followed her out then Jaken walked in front and began
to lead them towards the castle. Kagome walked behind of Jaken by her self, Miroku, Sango, and Kagura
followed behind her, Kohaku, Kanna, and Shippo rode Kirara and followed from the back.

“ What do you think is wrong with Kagome?” Kohaku asked Kanna and Shippo.

“ Maybe it has to do with Inuyasha.” Shippo said.

“ I think it is Inuyasha.” Kanna said.

“ Well if it does have something to do with Inuyasha I hope when we see him she stops acting like that.”
Kohaku said as he watched Kagome stomping behind a scared looking Jaken.

“ Me to.” Shippo was sad that Kagome had been ignoring him since Inuyasha left.

“ I don’t think it will get better.” Kanna said silently.

“ What?” Kohaku looked at Kanna.

“ Nothing.”

“ Oh ok.” They all stared at Kagome and wondered what was to come.

Sango Kagura and Miroku conversation

“ I think something is going on.” Kagura said making sure Kagome was far enough so she wouldn't hear their
conversation.

“ I think so to.” Miroku said.

“ But what is it?” Sango asked more to her self then to them.

“ I don’t know what it is.” Miroku pondered that question for a moment.

“ Whatever it is I hope it’s not bad because I don’t want to see Kagome any angrier then she already is.”
Kagura said wondering if Kagome could get any angrier.

“ Yeah me neither.”

They continued to talk while Kagome was making plans to sit Inuyasha to hell. They all followed Jaken down
the path towards Sesshomaru castle. All of them thinking the same thing Kagome was turning into a monster.
( Excluding Kagome of course )

Inu and Sesshy castle

Kouga POV

Something weird is going on, and I’m sure of it. Inuyasha was avoiding my questions and telling me I would
know when the others came. His scent has changed since the last time I saw him and he is always with
Sesshomaru and Rin most of the day, I’m beginning to think that their more then brothers now. But I won’t
know for sure until the rest of them come and I wish they would hurry up.

Normal POV

Three days had passed already and finally the rest of Inuyasha's friends were only a few minutes away.

“ They’re almost here Inuyasha.” Sesshomaru said.

“ I know.” Inuyasha paced back and forward in the library.

“ So are you ready to tell them?”

“ No.”

“ What I mean is, are you going to tell them?”

“ Yes.”

“ Good. Now sit down I’ll go get them.” Sesshomaru left the library and went to the front door where Kouga
and Ayame were already waiting.

“ Where is Inuyasha?” Kouga asked.

“ He is in the Library. We will be meeting him in there.”

“ Ok.”

Back with Inuyasha

Inu POV

I hated to do what I did but I had a bad feeling about Kagome. I told Sesshomaru about the power my
necklace had. He asked me what I thought I should do. So I did what I thought was right. He had a spell
caster take the power off of the beads so that it was just a simple necklace. I still couldn’t take it off but the word meant nothing anymore. I hope that Kagome doesn’t do what I think she will do. But so much for hopes. They are on their way here I can smell them Sesshomaru is in front I can also smell Kagome but she smells angry. When the door opens the first word that comes out of Kagome mouth is the word I wished she won’t use.

“ Inuyasha Sit!” They stared at me expecting me to fall on my face but I didn’t I just sat there looking sad. (
Except Sesshy )

“ I knew you were going to say that.” I said sadly.

“ Why didn’t it work !” Kagome asked furiously.

“ Stupid girl.” Sesshomaru said as he walked to my side.

Normal POV

Kagome stood where she was looking confused as ever. Everyone else walked to the seats available and
greeted Inuyasha. Then Kagome walked up to Inuyasha and was about to slap him but Sesshomaru grabbed
her arm and twisted it back.

“ If you dare touch Inuyasha you will be missing an arm next.”

Kagome glared at Inuyasha then at Sesshomaru. Then she ripped her arm from his hand and went to her
seat. Inuyasha looked at Kagome sadly wondering why was she so angry when he hadn’t told them yet. He
got even more worried and he was about to run out of there. But he felt Sesshomaru hand on his shoulder
and he looked at his mate.

“ Don’t worry Inuyasha I’m with you.”

“ I know.” He said regaining his confidence back.

He toke a deep breath and looked at each one of his friends faces wondering what they were going to do and
say when they found out. He toke another deep breath and began to tell them.

There you go I finally updated and it is most likely my longest chapter yet. I know it’s probably a run on
chapter but I promise the next chapter will be good. I don’t have a computer at home this is why I wrote a
really long chapter. Considering I might not update in another month. I have been getting the reviews from
you because of my reliable sister who went on the website for me and read them over the phone. So I thank all who have been giving me a good review and I ignore anyone who has given me a bad review. HA HA I don’t know why I’m laughing. I have decided to write a poem dedicated to this story. Actually mainly on what Inuyasha has felt during this story and I hope you like it and it’s not one of those rhyming ones either. So here is the poem.

The love I feel for you is it unnatural, is it so wrong?
How did I come to love you my dear brother?
Why did you not kill me when you had the chance?
Why did you not leave me in my time of grief?
Why have you stopped despising me so?
Why did you have to love me back?
You always told me you despised me and yet you hid your true feelings.
You always told me you hated me and yet you loved me.
How long have you loved me, how long has it been, and
when did I fall in love with you?
Even if you are my brother that doesn’t change the way I feel.
Even if everyone think it is wrong I’ll stay with you forever.
If I lose everything at least, I’ll have you.
How will I explain this to my friends?
Will they accept it and be happy for me
or will they hate what I truly feel?
When the time comes I’ll tell them and hold nothing back.
I only hope that they will accept me for what I am
and who I love.

It’s more like questions then a poem but I hope it doesn’t suck too bad. I’m a pessimistic I always look at the down of everything that’s why I’m making this story a little happy. I don’t want to throw a rain cloud on all my readers head. So enjoy the rest of your days and I’ll be making the next chapter good. Another full month til the next update remember that. ( Oh yeah Myoga might be in the next chapter and I know I totally forgot about Kaede. )
