Inuyasha wasn't quite sure he heard the girl right, he did have hanyou hearing and all but nobody ever considered him "amazing."

"Uh, I...am the one that saved you, but...did you just call me amazing?" Kagome's cheeks lit up like a flame, she could feel her cheeks burning with blush. Judging by her obvious change in body language Inuyasha assumed right, the girl had called him amazing...unknowingly out loud, but none the less it was said.

"Oh..no, no, no...I didn't call you amazing, I just said that, you aren't amazing at all." Kagome could have slapped herself for what she just said, of course she thought the man in front of her was amazing, he was gorgeous, and on top of that he was her hero, she mentally groaned. She saw how his look went from surprised, to pride, to hurt, and then a shield was formed, his eyes were no longer warm and welcoming. 'Oh my gosh, what did I just say." Kagome felt absolutely horrible watching the display of emotion in his eyes go blank.

"Yeah well, I saved you, I'm sure you are hungry, food will be waiting when you are ready." Of course she didn't think he was amazing, hero or not, he was just a worthless half breed, destroying lives of who ever he encounters.

"Um...Sir," Kagome called out before he left the room, with his head hung low and his eyes hidden by his bangs he turned towards her, waiting for what she had to say next. Kagome paused holding her hands to her chest, she needed to say something to at least rectify what she had accidentally said earlier. "For what its worth, and I mean it with all my heart....Thank You...and maybe...maybe you can fill me in, on everything that's going on, and...I'm sorry if I offended you."

Slightly taken back by her apology, Inuyasha didn't let his guard down, apology or not he wouldn't let this girl get close to him. He nodded his head in thanks and continued out the door. Kagome let out a sigh, and began to make her way out of the bed, and into the bathroom she had used earlier.

'Wow he not only saved me he really took care of me' Blushing again at the thought of having her clothes changed and having someone see her in all her glory. 'I can't get mad at him for that, he was only helping, I wont say anything we don't need anymore awkward moments now do we?' she asked herself. Her mouth tasted like ass, she really needed to brush her teeth, rummaging through the bathroom she found a old red toothbrush that looked like it could have been from the 70's looking at its wrapper. "I don't car, at least its not used" she said to herself as she looked for toothpaste.

Kagome was completely successful in brushing her teeth, she felt completely better, except she was super hungry, and as if on qu her stomach growled "I should feed you now shouldn't I" Kagome was speaking to her stomach, ' I have completely lost it' was her thought as she mad her way out of the bathroom, she was still sore but she was much better than earlier.

it was early evening, the sun was just setting casting an orange glow over the trees that surrounded the old house, Inuyasha was heating up some Ramen, it was the only thing he really ate, he didn't know how to cook all that well, and since it was mostly just him it didn't really matter.

Kagome popped her head into the kitchen just as Inuyasha pulled the cups of Ramen out of the microwave. "Uh hi..." was all she could think of saying at the moment, 'so much for awkward moments' she rolled her eyes to herself and made her way to the kitchen table where Inuyasha gestured for her to have a seat. He set the cup of Ramen in front of her, and took a seat across from her at the table, and began to eat...manners excluded.

The silence was bugging Kagome, normally she was a very social girl, and she wasn't going to let a stranger change that. "so uh...what's your name?" She started the conversation, now all she needed was for it to continue. Looking up and sucking noodles in his face, surprised the girl wasn't that shy at all.

"Inuyasha." His answer was quick, and short, and he went back to shoving noodles in his yap which caused Kagome's right eye to slightly twitch.

"Ok...Inuyasha, who are you?" Happy with her second question, which she was sure would get the conversation started, she sat back and took a bite of her noodles.

"I am a half demon, half human." Again his answer was short, causing Kagome's annoyance level to rise

"Ok so what kind of half demon are you? and what exactly do you do?" Kagome once again smiled to herself 'I got him this time'

Inuyasha could tell the girl was annoyed, but he knew if he gave her what she wanted she would be asking too many questions that he had successfully avoided for years. "I am half dog demon, and I'm the leader of a gang." This put Kagome into a pout, she failed to get the man in front of her to talk.

"Are you being so vague and short on purpose?"

"Yes"

Kagome sat back and glared at Inuyash "jerk" she said it ever so lightly, but he could hear her, of course he could hear her, he was a hanyou after all.

"I heard that" He said and pointed to his ears. Kagomes eyes widened in shock causing Inuyasha to chuckle. "Now stop being a wench and asking so many questions, I liked you better when you were sleeping." Kagome glared at Inuyasha, causing him to straighten a little. He wasn't afraid of the girl in front of him, but he knew he had really pissed her off.

"Just for the record...you are a jerk, and I take back my apology from before." Inuyasha was amused something about annoying the girl gave him great pleasure, he hadn't had this much fun in years.

"You might want to eat, holding that look on your face takes energy, and by the looks of it you don't seem to have much." He chuckled to himself as he got up to throw away his empty cup, he could feel her dagger like eyes on his back, it only amused him farther. "When you are done eating that you can come into the living room, and I might tell you what went on while you were sleeping." He left the kitchen and went towards the living room.

"The nerve of that ass hole, who the hell does he think he is." Kagome grumbled "hero or not he is a bastard."

"Ya know I can still hear you, and I really don't consider myself a bastard" Inuyasha could hear her growl.
