Ok, very sorry for the last chapter, it was just a little one to get this one started, maybe? Well I hope you enjoy this one more than the last ; ;
Notice: My keyboard is all gimpy, so typing is difficult, the keys are hard to push down.

Kagome rested quietly near the small fire in the middle of the room, tucked in her sleeping bag with Shippou sleeping by her head. Sango slept perfectly at the other side of the fire as Miroku and InuYasha slept at different walls, yet only half asleep was InuYasha as usual. He was extra protective of Kagome now. He glared as the sun begun to rise, leaking into the hut. Kagome stirred and rolled onto her back, yawning tiredly before sitting up slowly, putting her hand over her stomach, "I feel sick.." she muttered as she got to her feet, followed by InuYasha who rose up, "Kagome?" he watched as she ran out of the hut. InuYasha ran out after her and walked up to her crouching figure, "Whats wrong Kagome?" He asked as he knelt beside her and put his hand on her shoulder, "I feel sick.. I.. I want to go home." He nodded and went back to the hut, waking Miroku up, "I'm taking Kagome home, she's sick.." he said and Miroku nodded slightly, "Alright then.."

InuYasha went bac outside and picked Kagome up, "You're not angry that I want to go home?" Kagome asked weakly and he shook his head, "No, because you need a good time at home, I'm sure your mother will take care of you better than we could ever." Kagome smiled slightly and closed her eyes, "You take care of be just fine..." she dozed off in his arms and sighed deeply. He watched her then started off towards the well.

He reached the well and looked down it before jumping up on the edge, quickly falling down into the future. He landed with a light thud and jumped up out of the well. He held Kagome closer as he slid the shrine door open with his foot, cold air gently caressing their skin. It was darker here in the future.. all the polution making a layer over the world. Kagome stirred and looked up at him tiredly, "Oh no.." she put her hands over her mouth and looked away from him. He gritted his teeth but she sighed and looked at him, "Nevermind.." she looked to her house and smiled weakly. He quickly made it to her house and put her down, "It's early, should we go to your window instead..?" she shook her head at him, "No, I need my mother." she said as she pulled the door open, stumbling inside. It was about 6:30am and her mother was surprisingly awake, in the kitchen fixing breakfast for Souta and gramps. "Oh, Kagome?" she turned around and walked over to her daughter, "What's the matter Kagome? Why are you home so early?" Kagome looked at her mother and walked up to her, hugging her crying into her shoulder gently, small weeps escaping her body, "Mom.." she felt a little better when her mother rubbed her back soothingly. She looked up and saw InuYasha in the doorway, and nodded, "Come in InuYasha." he looked up from the certain spot on the ground and stepped inside, closing the door behind him.


Kagome's mother made some tea and brought it to Kagome who was resting in her room, "Now, will you tell me what is wrong Kagome?" Kagome sat up holding onto the tea. InuYasha sat at the other end of the room, holding his Tetsusaiga listening to them. "I..." she put the tea down on her nightstand next to the bed, "I was...raped.." she muttered and grabbed onto her mother, hugging her tightly, "Oh Kagome.." her mother wrapped her arms around her and rocked her slightly, "Everything will be ok." deep inside her mother was wounded, her own daughter raped? Someone should have protected her! Kagome let go of her mother and laid back on her bed. "Kagome, are you... you know, pregnant?" her mother whispered. Kagome's eyes welled up with tears and she put her hand on her forehead, "I.. I don't know..." InuYasha stood up and walked over to them, "Excuse me." he said and Kagome's mother shifted to the side, so he could have some room. He knelt down, and pulled the blanket off of her, "What are you doing...InuYasha,,,?" Kagome asked as she inhaled deeply. He lifted her pajama shirt up a bit and put his head on her stomach, listening carefully. His eyebrows furrowed and he lifted his head up and looked from her mother to Kagome, "Hmm.." he stood up and pulled her shirt back down, pulling the blanket over her. He took Kagome's mother's hand and took her outside the room, now crossing his arms over his chest, "Well? What was that about?" He looked to the side and glanced back at her, "Kagome is..." he sighed, "She's pregnant..." he mumbled and MRs. Higurashi's eyes filled with tears, "Oh no.." she went back into the room and sat on Kagome's bed, hugging her, "I'm so sorry Kagome, I should have never let you go there.." Kagome's eyes widened, "No, I have to go back.. they are depending on me.." Mrs. Higurashi let her go and looked down at her, "No. I don't want anything touching you ever again, its too dangerous and I don't want to lose you.." Kagome shook her head and got out of her bed, "No, mom you don't understand, I can't leave them forever.."

InuYasha started down the stairs, "I guess I better tell the others.." Kagome stepped out of her room and followed InuYasha quickly, "No don't leave InuYasha." she said as she grabbed his arm, "I want to be able to see you again, don't leave." He stopped and looked at her, then wrapped his arms around her quickly, hugging her, "We'll find a way back." he murmured into her ear, and Mrs. Higurashi walked out of the room, seeing them in an embrace. She new they loved each other, then it hit her, 'Maybe... he..' she looked at InuYasha somewhat shocked, 'Did he do that to her??' "InuYasha? Can I speak with you for a moment. ALone?" she said as she smiled slightly, Kagome pulled away from InuYasha and walked up the stairs and back into ther room, closing it behind her.

Mrs. Higurashi walked down the rest of the stairs and into the kitchen, followed by InuYasha, "What is it?" he asked as he leaned against the wall, staring at her boredly, "You love my daughter don't you." she said as she put some plates on the table, glancing at him. He blushed and coughed, unprepared for such a questions, "Well.." Mrs. Higurashi smiled "No need to explain, its written on your face.." she put her hands at her sides and walked up to him, "Were you the one that got my daughter pregnant.." she asked sternly, being open about it. He gulped and crossed his arms, trying to keep a straight face, "I don't know..." he muttered and she tilted her head at him, "You don't know.. as in.. she was raped then.. you took advantage of her weakened state?" she asked with little anger rising in her voice. He looked at her like she was insane, and looked away, "Feh! You could say she took advantage of ME instead.." he spat out and she took a step back, "Maybe it was an attempt to stop what he rapist had begun and hopefully stop her from getting pregnant with some stranger.." he muttered as he walked around the kitchen. She watched him and sighed, "Was that what she wanted? To have your child?" she asked as she turned and faced him, "Well.. she sure wanted my pup more than some strangers.." he looked at some of the pots and pans, and other things around the kitchen, "So.. if we allowed her to have the baby.. would you agree to have a DNA test taken to prove whether it is or isn't your child?" She asked as she fiddled with the cloth on the counter. He looked at her confused, "DNA test? What the hell is that?"

Mrs. Higurashi explained to the poor dense Hanyou, he acted as if he got it, just so he didn't have to be talked to anymore. Kagome stumbled down the stairs and looked into the kitchen, "Mom..InuYasha..?" she leaned against the wall seeing them both in the kitchen. "Kagome! You should be in bed, not wandering around.. InuYasha and I will take care of you.." Kagome looked to InuYasha then to her mother. "..oh... alright.. then. Can I have some breakfast..? Im very hungry." InuYasha looked to Mrs. Higurashi, "Liver is best for this type of stuff I believe." he said as he walked over to Kagome and picked her up, "Liver.. oh, ok." she smiled at the two and got to work.

Authors notes: I hope that is better, It's really late and Im tired, not to mention this stupid keyboard is making my fingers hurt, otherwise I would have continued it! New chapter later on, maybe placed in the future? Hmm Tune in next time! Reveiw please?
