Moonless Night

(Ok I realized that I might be moving to fast so I will try and make a chapter or two before the twins show up, but I will be making these chapters kind of short or so I might.)

For the next couple months Inuyasha started to get very protective over Kagome who continued to be very excited over her pregnancy and not to mention her mothers reaction when she told her what happened and eventually got married in her time to make it final. Inuyasha, where are we heading to next?” Sango asked curiously, We’re heading towards a very special place that only few know about,” Inuyasha said as he looked over at a tired Kagome who was struggling to keep up do to the extra weight she was carrying , she had nearly grown like 10lbs more since then which meant his cubs would be around 14 to 17lbs each by the end so she will be struggling more later on. We’ll rest over there and start back up in about 2 hours or so ok Kagome,” Inuyasha said concerned over her well being, Kagome just gave a nod and went in the direction he pointed out.

Ok I’ll go make a quick scan over the area for any sign of danger,” Inuyasha said before he ran and started to jump from tree to tree and thought of what it would be like to become a father of 2 cubs, he was trying to think of names and he thought of his boys name and thought that maybe she would be able to name the girl, after he finished his survey of the area he came to the conclusion it was safe to rest here for the time he suggested but he still had a thought that something was not right and just then he felt very cold and realized it was his mates feeling, just then he turned around and dashed back towards the resting spot to find a unconscious Kagome who was sweating hard.

What happened to her? Inuyasha asked trying to stay as calm as possible, She’s alright she just is very tired and needed to rest Inuyasha,” Miroku said with a kind voice knowing the connection between mates, she’s just sleeping Inuyasha she’ll wake up when she’s fully rested ok,” Sango said next and then wrapped Kagome in her sleeping bag and soon enough Kagome started to stop sweating and then snoozed soundly, after about hours Kagome slowly opened her eyes to see Inuyasha sitting nearby in a tree and realized she was not in the same place she fell asleep at, Inuyasha carried her to a safer place and Miroku and Sango along with the Kitsune who hasn’t been causing any trouble lately seeing he was staying with Keade helping to pick medicinal herbs for her and finally got back late tonight. Kagome noticed Inuyasha opened his eyes and was now staring at her. So how do you feel? Inuyasha asked as he jumped down and went to sit next to his mate, fine now I guess, I guess I was more tired then I thought, sorry if I worried you,” Kagome said with a gentle voice and started to sit up but was then forced to lay back down by a strong hand on her shoulder. You should take advantage of this time and rest so you can make the long walk we have tomorrow,” Inuyasha said as he leaned down and gave her a kiss.

Kagome took his advice and laid back down on the soft grass beneath her, she gazed at her loving Hanyou and felt a peaceful whisper in her ear, “I love you Mate” Inuyasha said gently as he caressed her cheek slowly with his index finger, “I love you too hunny” Kagome said with the same tone as she fell asleep and let his image give her sweet dreams.
